The friendliest staff we’ve ever met - lovely people. The hotel is located in a stunning place, very quite but not far from the town facilities.

We loved the surroundings, the dogs, the friendly hostess Lali and the beautiful yard.
I believe some more options for food in general would be nice.

The location is the best part. If you want to spend some peaceful and relax time with your family Its a good place to go.
The worst part is Breakfast.
Hardly you ll get something to eat. They don’t provide milk tea and coffee.
If you want to stay here to relax , be well prepared and get some basic stuff with you .

Close to nature stay away from crowd.
Surrounded by mountains. Very beautiful lawn and outside area. Rooms are well heated and comfortable. reception staff Miss Lari is always smiling, supportive and very helpful. Great place to relax.
Do not have tea cattle or drinking water inside the rooms. Breakfast is basic.

The location is "specific". There are excellent views on mountains, and a lot of place to stay outside of the rooms.
This place is about 6 km from the center of Stepantsminda. If you have no car, you will need to order the taxi. There is no chance to walk to the center. Therefore, if you will need buying food or wish to go to restaurants, there are no any options around except ordering the car and going to the center of this town. That may be a good place for those having a car. The breakfast is very limited, by its variety. The rooms have no refrigerator option as well as the whole place has no kitchen. The rooms are really basic. One should consider that in beginning of October in Kazbegi it is quite cold. The heating is opened only for a night, and staying in evening in the rooms is not comfortable. There are dogs around, and be prepared that in morning they bark especially if cows approach the area.

Just the ambience.
The place is not at all family friendly, very isolated and there is not even a complimentary water bottle or anything else. Staff was moderately helpful, but they leave at the night leaving residents with no one to contact for an emergency or for any support.Highly not recommended for family.

The hotel has a beautiful view, peace and quiet for relaxation. An advance notice of cold temperature there was sent from the owner before I arrived, so I could prepare proper clothes to be there. Eventhough it was only a little issue but the owner has made me very impression on her hospitality.

Migu Yard is a good starting point for trips to the Truso and Juta Valleys and lies in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. The yard is nice and has some cool hang-out spots where you can have a campfire. The cabins are quite new, modern and functional. Breakfast was okay.
We found our stay a little disappointing, which might have to do with the fact that Migu Yard calls itself a hotel, when it's really just cabins with a very minimalist breakfast service. You should take into consideration that there is no possibility to have dinner at the hotel or in the entire village, so driving around and being mobile is essential. We also found out there was no heating in the cabins in mid-September when temperatures were already dropping to around 5 degrees at night (we were given blankets, but not without a snarky comment). There was a constant beeping signal sound outside of the cabin that could not be paused. Also, our bathroom was not (properly) cleaned before our arrival and it smelled quite bad - something other guests seem to have observed as well. Had Migu Yard called itself a "cabin" or "cottage" instead of "hotel", we would have been less disappointed, because our expectations would have been different.

Staff was especially helpful as they accommodated us in getting around with a driver to do all the amazing hiking and places we came to experience in Kazbegi. The horses and dogs at the place also add great value to this place!
