First of all, Paulo who is the owner of the house is a legend. During our stay we felt like at home. The house has amazing garden and you have everything and probably more what you need. Breakfast was also so delicious and has lots of variety. We’ ll return for sure. We are also so satisfied with his recommendations.

The breakfast was amazing! Paulo really went out of his way to make us a beautiful meal at a beautiful table. He put on music, and we sat there for hours just enjoying the ambience. He is a charming host. It was also fun to visit the sheep and the pig.

The whole experience was so enjoyable and a really thought about and crafted experience. Both the room and shared space were really comfortable and interestingly arranged. The breakfast was beautifully set out and accompanied with relaxing music. We loved it here. The location suited our needs for a short drive into Aveiro, with secure parking on site and other amenities nearby.

Very peaceful and artsy place with a really nice owner. Good location if you have a car - close to Aveiro and Costa nova.

I liked Paulo's attention to detail. During my stay, even their two lawnmowers (a.k.a. sheep) got their hair cut! Lol.
I missed a fixture/device to hang the shower "phone" to enjoy my shower without holding it all the time.

Location: At the outskirts of the town, easy access by car (the number at the gate is visible, the gate itself differs from the adjacent), a calm place with a view to the Ria. Access without a car may be difficult as the center of the town is distant. I recommend the restaurant Marisqueira in Costa Nova (about 17 km away).
Hotel: Renovated old home decorated by the original azulejos (tiling decorated in blue) in all common areas. Common areas (kitchen, dining room, siting area with a chimney) are large and nicely decorated.
Room: We have got two rooms at the ground level and one bathroom separated by a door from other area. Rooms are large.
electric sockets available near the bed
lighting: OK
Bed: comfortable
Bathroom: large, enough space to put toiletries but lack of hooks to hang towels or cloth.
Breakfast: Very good continental breakfast based on fruits and sweets including homemade jams, croissants, fresh bread and fruits. But you may be disappointed if you prefer German style of breakfast, as there is no ham or cheese, or vegetables.
WiFi: OK
Parking: at the place, near the door.
Covid: Measures introduced and observed.
Bathroom and rooms are not heated. It was not a problem for us (summer), but may be a problem in the case of the cold weather in winter.
Bathroom is poorly ventilated.
I personally do not like the arrangement of a shower in a bathtub and a plastic curtain.
