Really enjoyed the house and property. Wish we could’ve had our friend’s family come over for dinner but the owner felt like 5 additional visitors was too many for the space. Be sure to get permission for any additional visitors prior to your stay or find an alternate location to hang with your local friends. Very nice property and location!

This property met all our expectations. The house was clean and welcoming. We met our host Mark upon arrival, who welcomed us, and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed to make a wonderful breakfast. The view was amazing to have coffee on the porch in the mornings. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor kitchen and hot tub. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. The location was so close to everything that we wanted to do in Wimberley. I would recommend this stay for anyone!

We had an amazing experience; the home and property were so comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed how tucked away it all was, like our own little hideaway even though it's just a few minutes from the Wimberley square.
We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back to this house again ourselves. Thank you so much to Kimberly and Mark for such a wonderful experience!

My 30 y/o daughter, her friend and i stayed over Easter weekend in "Home Sweet Texas Home". the 1/1.5 home was perfect for us.....the spacious, well-provisioned kitchen (we're cooks), large screened-in porch, large living room and 1st rate futon met all our needs. we didn't use, but house has a f/s washer and dryer. Best of all were the fire rings, barbq area and patio seating areas out our door nestled in the gorgeous Spanish oaks. Above-ground pool was large, sparkling clean and stocked with clean beach towels and chez-lounges. The hot tub (shared with next door home) was sparkling, perfect temperature and steps from our front door. Mark and Kim's attentiveness to the cleanliness and convenience of every aspect of the homes and their property provide the PERFECT backdrop for a relaxed stay amid the lucious beauty of the Hill Country, all a 5 minute drive/cycle from the specialty shops and restaurants (and crowds) of the walkable downtown

The property was as described. Mark came by the day after we arrived (we arrived late) to ensure everything was ok. We only enjoyed the hot tub one day due to our activities, but it was nice when we used it. Would definitely return!

Christmas at Casa De Wimberley
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The property was really nicely set up and peaceful. The home was beautiful and cozy. It was fully set up with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you needed to cook/bake. We enjoyed the hot tub outside and the unique set up of the outdoors when walking our dog. Mark was very prompt in his replies to any questions we had which we appreciated. If you’re looking for all the comforts of home away from home in a peaceful & spacious place in Wimberley, this is it! Super close to the town center too.

Very clean and private
Check in and check out went smoothly. We loved everything about our 2 night stay. Place was clean and had everything we needed. We used hot tub and grilled some steaks on the first night. Even tho there was other people staying on the property, it felt really private. Grocery store is 3min away and we saw 4 deer on the property our first night (so cool). My husband and I had dinner at Gennaros Trattoria in Canyon Lake and The Salt Lick in Driftwood. Didn't get to use the pool since it was still a little chilly out. The property is beautiful and the host communicated promptly. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Our stay was great. We had everything we needed and the hosts have really thought of everything. All the details are clearly outlined and easy to navigate, making it all contactless and safe. The property is beautiful and although there are a few other rentals our place felt very private. The fireplace and hot tub were a nice bonus. We are planning a trip back in the summer. Thanks for a great start to the new year!

We could live here, retire here. Just beautiful home and setting in Wimberley, TX.
Well laid out, beautiful landscaping, Hot Tub/Salt Water Pool, there was deer on the property in the mornings. The fire place was great! comfortable King Size Bed, Fantastic Soft Water from Artesian Well below makes your hair feel softer. WHile inside the house, there was every detail taken care of with the furnishings, bathroom necessities, etc. We cooked our own meals, plenty of utensils, pots/pans.. They do have Netflix and Sling TV which worked great! The Gas Grill worked perfect. The front porch with the Swing and the table/chairs was all so relaxing. YES, we will stay here again. To me, the pictures are all great, what sold us, but it was even better to see it all in person. It was home!

If you looking for a place to relax and enjoy the Hill Country this is the place.
The owners are great people who only have your interest at heart. We especially enjoyed the seclusion of not being around so many people especially with the Covid 19 going on right now. The cabin we stayed in (Home Sweet Texas Home) was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoors and can't wait to go back with the rest of my family. It was a great Anniversary get away!
