A great modern high quality hotel, one would not expect in small remote places like Lorsch. Very nice touch on school themes in all hand-overs.

I was not able to login into WIFI. The page I should have to log in with a code always returned an error. Could be something with my settings, but it's a strange, as I never had one. Anyway, as I have a lot of data my cellphone, I just didn't use WIFI.

We visited in the off season and it was beautiful

Beautiful Hotel with an amazing out door garden to enjoy. Very clean facility. We walked from the train station with 2 backpacks and a rolling luggage, it was a bit far with the luggage. The hotel staff gave us a ride to the train station when we left which was vey nice. Hotel offered a breakfast spread which we enjoyed one day.Loved the town and surrounding countryside. We met other locals who offered many suggestions for hiking, picnics, and food. A beautiful place to visit

The staff was efficient but not overly helpful. I felt that I had to ask many questions about the area instead of being offered suggestions.

Nice welcome. Very comfortable and spacious room. Enough parking spaces convenient to the hotel. Plentiful breakfast buffet. Nice location. Had our evening meal at the nearby Restaurant im Rheintal where we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed watching the barges on the river.

Very comfortable hotel!

Our room was very spacious and nicely designed - and well air-conditioned. The terrace was great. Everything was 100% clean. It is a hotel garni, but the honor bar in the basement is well stocked - including a variety of wines from local producers. The breakfast offered a wide selection of hot and cold food. Receptionist and staff at breakfast were very friendly and professional. The hotel is located outside the village centre, but it is only a short walk to some lovely local pubs.

The hotel and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and very nice. The breakfast was excellent. The staff at breakfast were very friendly.

Everything was very good. A small suggestion for the receptionist who checked us in, a little humour is welcome.

next time we do more research on our lodging

no heads up on the river issue no way to get to the other side from barach after 9 pm on a Sunday no taxis bridges buses we ended up sleeping on park benches in the rain till morning to catch the train to get to the other side where hotel is😞Booking.com says hotel near barach. very misleading.

great stay, not much to do in the town uunless your hiking. we took ferry & trains to the surrounding towns

modern up to date clean breakfast was fantastic beautiful property staff friendly air conditioning was awesome!

we arrived Sunday night at 11 p.m (due to train derailment and multiple delays) across the river from hotel, had no idea we would be stuck there until Monday morning so we’re outside in the pouring rain all night & didn’t arrive at hotel till 9:30 Monday morning when next train came , we really wished the hotel gave us a heads up on the river situation 😞

A great place to stay in Lorch!

Delicious breakfast, good quality and fresh. There is ample parking for both cars and bikes. It was nice to have the option at night to sit in the breakfast room to drink something or play a card game. The rooms were very clean.

clean and tidy and very comfortable

location. we booked for Bacharach not across the river. The distance you quote to the centre is incorrect, and taken as straight line. so you are misleading your potential guests. get it sorted !!!

Staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good and well organized in 2 groups in order to keep distances. The room was quite new, clean and comfortable, with big bathroom. Mattress was very soft (which can either be a + or -).
