Ready or Knot was designed to create fun Chelan memories and makes for a great family getaway or couple’s retreat. This home is centrally directly off of the Lookout's Central Park. Just take a short stroll to both pools, park, sports court or lake to make memories that last. A well-appointed deck with relaxing lake and mountain views allow you to sit back, roast marshmallows and take in the Chelan breeze with a large lot that allows for privacy. A fully fenced backyard makes it easy to keep the kiddos or pooches nearby as you enjoy the deck.
This cozy retreat features vaulted ceilings with a modern lake house getaway design. Cozy up in the bright and airy 918 sq ft of living which includes a master bedroom featuring a queen-sized luxury pillowtop mattress and fully appointed kitchen equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including additional amenities for pups. The upstairs loft is a 306 sq/ft space newly designed to feel like you are glamping! The loft is accessed by ship ladder (see pics). Equipped with two twin beds and a memory foam futon, this area sleeps 3 comfortably with room to play plus is equipped with dual TVs featuring a variety of movies, XBOX one and games. Finally, a temperature controlled, fully furnished garage dubbed the "Canoe Club" will be your favorite game room with lake views, game table, couches to watch movies, Xbox one, ping pong table, air hockey, games, books, snow sleds, 2 kids scooters, pool floaties, and dartboard. Amenities for little ones are on hand too with a baby gate, portable highchair, plastic dishware and toys.
Smart TV’s are located in the living room, game room and the loft plus hundreds of movies are on hand for a movie night in. A well-equipped kitchen and an outside BBQ makes your favorite meals easy to prepare. Four barstools are located at the kitchen counter, our entertainment console converts into a dining nook and seating for 6+ is available on the deck for quick and easy meals. We enjoyed our stay at Ready or Knot overall, although some details fell short of expectations. The location is fantastic and the inside areas are well maintained and comfortable. We were staying with kids/teens and they enjoyed the loft and the downstairs game room/hangout space. The kitchen had the bare necessities, although some essential items were lacking (e.g. pizza pan). As other reviews suggest, there is no viable indoor dining option (the folding console is basically a coffee table and there are no chairs provided), so as a group of 6 (max occupancy) we were looking to utilize the patio dining table. Unfortunately, upon arrival we immediately discovered that the patio table umbrella was broken and unusable. We eventually received a replacement from housekeeping, but it was too tall for the table. The barbecue grill was also dirty, which led to our food catching on fire, making it impossible to grill outside. Finally, there seem to be a lot of bees/wasps at this property, partly because of a shrub in the backyard that seems to attract them. The wasps were a nuisance and made eating outside a challenge, which was unfortunate because it's the only dining option and the view from the deck is truly stunning.

Cute house but not for us-steep stairs leading to main floor. Deck was was great.The bed is super small and not much room to get around, and we are a small couple. If we had young kids I would worry about them in the loft-super steep ladder. The game room is a great idea for kids. The location is good. One time my husband had to try multiple times to unlock the door, so I called the number provided and no one answered.Luckily the door finally opened. The chairs at the top of the property are a nice touch. We didn’t use the pools because it was cold Rainy but they looked very nice. The general area is very nicely maintained.

The finished garage space was perfect for entertaining the kids in downtime. The desk was a very nice space to hang out, otherwise there isn't much of a communal hang out space. Also, for my family of 4, I think next time we will select a house with 2 bathrooms. Otherwise, there were lots of kitchen amenities, it was clean, comfy beds, and we enjoyed our stay!

The location was great!! The bed was comfy. We won’t stay here again though because the house lacked so many basic amenities that I’ve always had in other rentals: no bbq tools, only one set of tongs and very few utensils overall, no food storage (foil/plastic wrap/tupperwares) for leftovers. Guest services did bring some tupperwares over on our 3rd day. The tv must be older as it isn’t able to stream Netflix without being super slow. (We couldn’t even get Netflix to load after the first day.) The biggest disappointment of this home is that there were no towel hooks/rods. A pretty big inconvenience having to hang bath towels over the doors throughout the house. Please remove the the bathroom wall art and install towel hooks. Also, I reached out Guest Services 3 times to have them replace the light above the shower that never worked (no windows in there so it wasn’t very bright), and no one ever came. I finally gave up after the third day of our 5-night stay. For the amount charged for “resort fee” I expect better service. We have stayed at The Lookout annually and this experience was the most disappointing.

The home was well maintained and equipped. We loved the outdoor space for our dog and the game room for our kids. I would recommend an extra sun umbrella that tilts to block the afternoon and evening sun. It was to hot to eat dinner outside without shade.

The house is just as it appears online. The garage is a fantastic game room. Our teens turned off their devices and spent hours in the game room playing ping pong, darts, air hockey and hanging out. The resort grounds, pool and beach were beautiful. We hope to visit again soon.

Outside deck space was great, and the outdoor stairs to the pool made it easy for everyone to go when they liked. The house was fantastic and we enjoyed Chelan. However, our house was not ready at 4 pm the day we were supposed to check in, our A/C went out (happened to be 95 degrees that day/evening - however, they did fix it within 24 hours), and they never came to get a huge hornets next on the patio (would have taken care of it myself but there was no Raid and they kept telling me they would come, so we did not get to use that for a few nights).

The house was great and as described. It is centrally located within the community itself, which made it easy to experience all that the community has to offer. The house was clean, well-appointed, and stocked with everything we needed. There were a few blinds that were broken and would not close, and the patio and patio furniture needs some attention (e.g., paint worn off on the deck, one of the dining chairs was broken and wobbly), but these are very minor critiques and did not detract from the stay. I wish the upstairs loft was more accessible, as the space is great once you are up there, but the steep ladder is not for the faint of heart. The garage game room was a fantastic perk and a place were we spent a lot of time.

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay at "Ready or Knot" at the Lookout. The home is well appointed, stocked and spotless! This is a comfortable home for a couple and includes a cute loft that is perfect for kiddos. The only thing I would change is the mattress in the master bedroom, it seems to be a double, not a queen and slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, it is a cute home in a great location w/ great amenities!

This was our 2nd stay at Ready or Knot and our first long getaway since the lock-down. We so enjoyed our time at the Lookout and the house was even better than we remembered. The staff of the LO did a great job with adhering to safety protocols as did most of the guests (the staff down at the marina hit and miss in this department). We played pickleball in the morning and rented boats or jet skis in the afternoon, did a little wine tasting a few days and enjoyed our deck each and every evening. It was great and we will look forward to returning in the future.

The Lookout has everything we wanted...private beach, amazing pools, breathtaking views of the lake and the stars and quiet at nighttime. We enjoyed swimming the pools and lake during the day and sitting by the gas fireplace on the deck at night to watch the sunset. One pool was mostly 3 feet so perfect for my 6 year old to swim safely. The house was modern, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We walked to town a couple times for coffee but we loved how the Lookout was away from all the craziness of downtown. This place had it all. We can’t wait to go back.

We loved the Lookout and our Little Dipper home. The large deck with lake views was our go to spot each evening. The quick walk to the pool or beach made it a perfect spot that was still quiet but easy to get to everything. Our kids LOVED the loft space and the home itself feels like a cottage escape. Can't say enough great things about it! We would definitely recommend this home and the Lookout property. We had an amazing family getaway spending hours playing in the pool, taking the boat on the lake, playing games as a family and just taking in the beauty that is Chelan. We had a great stay at The Little Dipper. Such a darling place with a great location! A queen size bed downstairs would be awesome, as upstairs is hard to access and is where my husband slept, as the downstairs bed is a full size bed.
