Séjour excellent !

Deux nuits passées au Domaine des Oiseaux absolument parfaites : Patrick et Colette, nos hôtes, tout à fait charmants, à l'écoute, toujours prêts à rendre service et plein de bons conseils pour les visites. L'hébergement est situé au cœur d'un domaine de 7 ha avec un jardin magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. L'environnement est très calme et reposant. Le petit déjeuner est excellent (pain frais, confitures, gâteaux et jus de fruits frais faits maison) et le 1er soir, bien que n'ayant pas réservé à l'avance, Colette nous a préparé un repas succulent, précédé d'un verre de bienvenue qui permet d'assurer une très bonne ambiance entre les différents voyageurs de passage. A recommander les yeux fermés

Dobry nocleg w zaciszu ogrodu

Piękny ogród, cisza, darmowy parking, pomocni właściciele, dobre śniadanie domowej roboty z dużą ilością ciast.

Brak drzwi między łazienką a sypialnią (była tylko zasłonka), obecność mrówek w łazience, wystrój.

Lovely

I felt as being at my grandparents': the couple managing the domaine is very gentle and friendly. They prepare an extraordinary homemade breakfast with plenty of local fruits and recipes. They sat with us for breakfast and told us a lot of stories. The place is wonderful, the room is simple but it has everything

Authentic and sincere

very friendly owner. I was just passing by, as I had to wait for my next flight for 22 hours. After a while they told me the airport would close during the night. so I quickly had to find a room. I think you get a very personalised service from the owner.

Rustic but very friendly hosts

The hosts very very kind and friendly! Ample parking and only 20 minutes or so from the airport.

Room 5 on the upper floor had a sloped ceiling on one side so we moved the bed to avoid hitting my head (I am 152 centimeters tall) but I had to stay close to the bed to avoid bending over; two taller people would not have been able to comfortably stay in that room. The mattress was only about 12 centimeters deep on slats. The bathroom had a curtain instead of a door. The air conditioner was being repaired but they were able to give us a fan to help with the stuffiness of the room (no screens on the windows so we did not feel comfortable leaving them open). Breakfast was sweet cakes, bread and some bananas and oranges from the garden so it would have been nice to have yogurt or hard boiled eggs or some protein but I’m sure if we asked they would have accommodated. We stayed at two other accommodations on the island and felt that this property was overpriced for the rustic accommodations.

Lovely stay in a fruit plantation!

The hotel is a bit hard to find, but the position in google maps actually matches its location. Try to find the white signs that point away from the road into the field. You are awarded with a hotel situated within a fruit plantation. The location has no elevator to its second floor, so this might pose some accessibility issues. The breakfast is great, you are served proper french breakfast with the locally sourced fruit and a selection of cakes made by the lovely hosts.

- amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming (we were even allowed to use their kitchen) - awesome breakfast (different types of homemade (!) cake, eggs, baguette, fresh fruit (...))

- there is only a curtain to separate the bedroom from the bathroom

The only reason I could give high marks to this property are the hosts, they are very friendly and welcoming. And atmosphere is very nice as well. But this is it. You better do not expect any level of comfort or high standards there, it's more like old grandma home. Seems to be overpriced for that reason.

Excellent breakfast, nice helpful owners. They dont speak english, but they using translators, so we have not problems.

Great characters and beautiful garden

The property is a great location to go up the mountain in the morning. It’s a bit tricky to find but set in massive garden.
