Great location. The cottage was spotless, comfy bed, great facilities, toasty warm, we look forward to returning.
The toilet was in the back part of the house which was freezing cold, but that was made clear in the description.

very quaint cottage plenty of space and was well set up for all your needs
property needs a good spring clean as it was a bit musty, the grounds around the house would benefit from a makeover that would add to the quaintness of the house.

liked it all

The property was very clean and cosy, with great kitchen, bathroom and toilet facilities. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. My son particularly liked the cottage, and we would be happy to come back again. The owners had great communication and were helpful to extend our booking by one night. The cottage also had a lovely view of the bay, so lived up to it's name. I have recommended to my brother who is a regular visitor to the area.
It might not be suitable for people with mobility restrictions, as access was restricted by the step up to the deck and entry.

Beautiful view, lots of room, very well equipped, comfortable….extras like games and books.
Wallaby visited us a couple of times. Big property, and the house was bigger and nicer than the photos we had seen.
Had a problem with water supply but our phone call was promptly answered and we were able to rectify the problem later at night.

nice position. cute little cottage.
wasn’t 100% clean, laundry flooring should probably be fixed. no light bulb in bedside lamp….. just a few little things but nothing drastic

it was a cosy comfortable house with plenty of room. Beautifully restored.
the toilet being away from the main bedroom

Beautiful house and lovely grounds, local wildlife came for a visit each night which was just lovely over all it is a beautiful house with a fantastic view.
The beds were not so good, could do with at least a pillow top. And I know the house is old, however when the tiles were laid in the kitchen the floor could have been evened out very uneven especially going to the laundry, and the laundry floor needs to be evened out also.

Lovely location. Many little extras that made the stay more enjoyable.

Old world charm. Comfortable new heaters and kitchen.
Love that they put the heater on for us before we arrived.

Great little house, felt like home. We just loved staying here. Only 10 minutes drive to Port Arthur historical site. More affordable and better value for for money staying a little out of port arthur. Beautiful big well equipped kitchen. So much space. Comfy beds and good shower. Really great having a laundry with the dryer. Beautiful and warm home with a lovely view of the bay. Really appreciated that there were staples in the cupboard and fridge such as sauces and oils etc. Easy check in and out. Loved this place and would definitely stay again! Highly recommend.
We had read the reviews so were expecting the long walk to the toilet. It didn't bother us too much as it added to the character of the house.

Quaint house well equipped with everything you need. Also some fun additions including a record player and large collection of LPs. Very cosy once the heaters are turned on.
Toilet was off the laundry at the back of the house away from the heating. While still inside, it was a chilly visit.

The property is centrally located an easy walk to Nubeena township. The house had good central heating.
The house was not clean. There was too much mould. This was not a healthy environment. As per my previous comments kitchen floors needed a good scrub. The host was not sympathetic to the issues I raised. The dirt driveway was difficult to navigate especially at night as it has some washouts/pot holes.

A lovely B&B. Clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved that we walked into a warm house

The house was quite clean other than a few leaves
The journey to the toilet is just that and no heat lamps so freezing in winter .
3.5
The house was very nice, clean, very well presented and extremely inviting. Enjoyed reading about the history of the property. The property was located in a beautiful area very central to all areas of the Tasman Penninsula.
The mattress in the main bedroom was too soft especially for someone with a bad back or slight mobility problems.
The couch in the kitchen nook has loose arm rests.

We loved Nubeena and Blossoms on the bay. We loved sitting on the balcony in the sun. There's loads of birds. We were lucky enough to see the bandicoot and also a couple of kangaroos.

Location is beautiful, nice and quiet and beautiful view. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with everything you'll need. Great inclusion of washer and dryer - but you'll need to bring your own laundry detergent. Big bedrooms and living room.
Important to note as per the listing this is an old cottage, it will get very cold. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the cleanliness. Dead flys & bugs on the window sills and lots of dust on the side tables. It didn't look like it had been well cleaned from the last guests. A couple of the towels smelled very musty. Bedding needs to be updated, it's very old and well used. Suggest to bring own bedding and towels. Could do with a good clean and update to bedding.

Loved everything very comfortable

The space was comfortable with everything that we needed. The heating was amazing, over a very cold few days, we were ery warm and cosy! Great location and it was easy to access the various attractions that we were visiting.
- globes in lamps were not working - this is a shame, as both mum and I really like the ambience from lamplight.
- there was a diffuser with a very strong scent that I needed to remove as it caused me to have a severe asthma attack.

Wifi was not working. No signal detected.

Coastal cottage steeped in history,.warm, comfortable, well equipped, liked the personal momentos, peaceful, didn't know there was a storm outside! Loved listening to records. Highly recommend, lovely tasteful home, thank you!
Wish we could have stayed longer!

liked quirky touches such as record player
Overflowing garbage bins on arrival didn't leave a positive first impression. :-(
Many window blinds were broken, hampering opening & closing
