The Great Mysuru Lazy Vacation!

Excellent location, cut off from the urban areas, great landscape (more natural than manicured, and thats fantastic!), very clean toilets, comfortable beds, and the 2 adorable dogs...what else would one ask for during a lazy vacation.

If we have to pick something for the sake of it, then may be we would point at the mosquitoes during the evenings...but well, if you want to stay amidst nature, then you can't complain. All you need is some mosquito repellent applied on your hands and feet, and you are good to go.

Excellent, comfortable stay

Indeed a perfect ‘home’ stay. With exceptionally good, trained team coupled with the ambience and convenience you will experience heartfull of comfort. The personal touch by the hosts is icing on the cake. Love to mark it as one of our very favorite spot.

Charming homestay close to central Mysuru

The homestay is absolutely charming, very quiet yet close to the city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and easy to communicate with. The food was delicious too!

Peaceful location with beautiful gardens! We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Arun was so friendly and helpful organising taxis, restaurant booking, SIM cards, massage etc the list goes on. Nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast was delicious with a good selection to chose from. We would definitely stay again. Thank you 🙏

A fantastic experience.

Wonderful stay - the property is beautiful and in a great location. We wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was delicious, and they were especially thoughtful and attentive to my dietary restrictions. Very friendly, welcoming, and full of advice and assistance for navigating Mysore.

Fabulous

This was the best accommodation we stayed at during our trip to India. Arun was very efficient in organising tuk tuks for us & offering advice on where to go. Yamena & her parents were very welcoming & made us feel part of the family. We were sad to leave as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good & there was always plenty.

The place to stay if you're in Mysore

Well maintained property located at the foothills. Rooms were neat and clean. Aun - the property manager, is really helpful and responsive. The owners are really delightful people - asking us if everything is fine. Breakfast served was delicious (best sagu I ever had). There are some birds around the property if you enjoy birding.

Very Very peaceful break & most refreshing amidst nature. Loved it.

We liked everything about the property. Tucked away from the main road, the serenity, quiet, natural surroundings, the maintenance, the staff esp Arun , overall perfect to relax. We would love to visit again.

The only thing which would have made the break exceptional is availability of lunch & dinner within the property. It would mean not going in search of restaurants for food. Even some simple food is a welcome advantage. Just a suggestion to the management make our stay totally relaxed.

It’s the best experience we ever had with holiday rentals. Both place and hosts are amazing. Yamuna, her parents, and Arun are very friendly and helpful. I confirm all the positive reviews from other tourists. We came to Mysore during the Dasara festival. The city was overcrowded. But it looks like we were the only foreign guests in the whole city. Gitanjali place was very calm and relaxing, beautifully designed, with a lot of trees and flowers. Yamuna and Arun helped us to book taxis for most of our daily trips, and gave us advice on where to eat and what to see. For us as foreigners, it was very valuable.

Decent experience if you have your own vehicle. Pricey option in mysore.

I stayed here for 3 days with family. This is located in the outskirts of the city away from all the pollution/sounds etc... My kid and spouse liked the atmosphere. There is a lot of greenery which really soothes your soul. Room size is decent. The caretaker Arun was very friendly and helpful.

1. We did not have a vehicle so we had to rely on uber/ola/auto. This caused issues for us since many of them were demanding outrageous sums or rejecting accepted rides too frequently given the location. 2. The breakfast has very limited selection one indian tiffin + bread/jam & omlettes. For the price point, this is very disappointing. 3. Coffee/tea were mostly lukewarm and room service prices are high. Own vehicle is a must if you want to tour the city from here.

1. The prices of food tied up with facility are relatively high & the chef's are too demanding - no customer first mindset 2. No facilities to heat beverages - tea/coffee mostly served lukewarm
