Beautiful location
Lovely property, stunning location. Property could do with some tlc.

Great location for Anglesey and Snowdonia, cute little 2 up 2 down with lovely views from the bedroom window, easily contactable and friendly host, great pub a stagger away, good convenience store just up the road...
A grill out in the back garden would have been great!

Location was great. Owners communication was perfect. She explained where to park and where the WiFi password was and we could check in a bit earlier which was great. Mainly clean house and very quiet. Nautical themed was lovely. Loved looking at all the added details. Especially the kitchen light.Lovely pub and shop in walking distance with beer garden by harbour. Would definitely stay again. Worth the money.
Bathroom and garden wasn't up to standard with the rest of the house. Bathroom needed a deep clean. It was cleaned and you could you tell it was but there was some cobwebs in the corner and the grout and sealant was a bit grim. Garden needed a tidy up and maybe a seating area. And the double bed mattress even though it is a good quality mattress it was very firm and uncomfortable. Maybe a mattress topper that could be added or removed for preference. And the induction hob needs some instructions. It stumped us even after a YouTube video. All in all a good house though and the owner has made it feel very homely.

The shower was soooo comfy.

The lady who we had contact with was fantastic, really nice. Information on where to find the cottage, where to park, the key location was absolutely spot on, flawless transaction.
The lounge was nice, bedrooms were clean and so was the linen, fresh towels etc.
Cottage location is just stunning, really was.
We arrived very late on the Friday night to be greeted with a foul stench from a dirty, greasy baking tray that had been left to soak but stank and so that was quite unpleasant.
The bathroom was the main crux here....is was unclean, sink plug didn't work, bath plug was rusty and full of old dirty hair, the seal on the shower door was green - absolutely awful. The bathroom needs to be a place of cleanliness and this just wasn't. There was old bottles of shower gel on the window sill which when moved had stains underneath so been there some time. It was massively disappointing if honest which is such a shame.

Beautiful little place, in a stunning area. Clean and cosy. Ruth was very helpful.

Check-in was a bit delayed

Small and compact with view of the estuary and boats. beds were comfortable and it was incredibly quiet.
lovely location, very small village.
it had a bit of damp, common in this type of property, so there was mildew and peeling paint and wall paper.
downstairs loo.
one single bed was very squeaky.

The Cottage was absolutely beautiful! Everything was so clean. The area was absolutely beautiful also. I would advise to reverse into the street though because you can't turn around, it's a tight street. The views of the sea when waking up were spectacular.
I just wish there was seating outside to enjoy sitting in the garden.

A lovely 2 up 2 down.
Comfy beds, good location
Great communication from Ruth who was helpful with everything from parking to local recommendations.
Local restaurants/takeaway good.
Good spot for exploring this part of Wales.
We liked very much. We might consider a blind or like over front door window purely because bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs, for privacy reasons.
But no complaints....a great base for exploring Snowden and Anglesey.

We liked the location easy access to where we wanted to visit , very pretty Marina friendly pub on the corner . Will mention a thank you to Ruth for sorting out the hot water when we arrived so quickly .
The whole house is in need of a good clean . decoration is very poor and bathroom is very shabby . The garden is overgrown, overall the property feels neglected. Main bedroom had no mirror or dressing table.
3.9
the property was characterful and well located.
unfortunately the bathroom particularly let it down - peeling paint, bath panel not fixed, hinge on bathroom door not secure, mould around bath and in grouting - a sliding door would have been better as it was difficult to get in due to its size.
main bedroom door did not close, second bedroom door closed but stuck and woke everyone when opened.
most of the mugs and some of the crockery were all chipped.
peeling wallpaper in lounge
would have liked a hand towel as well as a bath towel
and a corkscrew would have been useful.

The cottage was incredibly cosy and in the perfect location for our day out in Snowdonia. Ruth was also able to quickly attend to an issue we had, her attentiveness and quick response were greatly appreciated.
The bathroom needs a little TLC, and there could be more utensils available for those of us who want to cook.

Location was ideal for us.

a couple of the doors didn’t close

Good location. Does the job if you are after the outdoors and need a place to sleep and have a quick basic breakfast.
Landlady is nice and she fixed the initial issue the same evening when we arrived.
Bathroom is run down a bit. Few more items in the kitchen would be nice. We only had 3 forks to share between 4 of us.

Good location
No toilet roll. Only 3 forks. Only very small towels provided. No washing up liquid . Key code only sent on the day. No welcome pack. After an 8 hour drive we needed to go and shop for towels and toilet roll.

The location was perfect. So nice to be right near the sea, but also several excellent eating places. We ate at the Gardffon Arms, the Thai restaurant and had breakfast Swellies. All were excellent and a short walk from the prooerty
A plug in the bath would have been nice.

Location was excellent,
House was comfy and we equipped,

Great location, local pub The Garddforunn was fab, great food and friendly people, a must to book and in walking distance, clean and quaint little cottage, great host 😃
Really missed an upstairs toilet
3.9
Clean and fresh. As soon as you walk in it has a pleasant atmosphere. Ruth is lovely. The bedrooms upstairs are a good size and comfortable. Nice view from upstairs rear bedroom.
No washing machine. There are some small but irritating things that I’m sure (I hope) will be seen too.

Loved the location and great little cottage for a base to explore the surrounding areas

Lovely little house with plenty of space. Beds are comfortable, it was clean and tidy, all the facilities required. Really lovely views. Owner was so helpful and easy to communicate with, made it a lot easier for us to prepare and park etc. Really good value for money and close to snowdon which was where we needed to be.
There was no garden seating which would have been nice on a nice summers evening. The neighbours were quite noisy until quite late at night (gone midnight) we think maybe from the pub.
3.9
Great location for north wales sight seeing
close to town centre
pub/restaurant only 200m away
reasonably good sized bedrooms and living room
scaffold erected front to rear of property, causing issues with access to back garden area. Also cement render all over rear kitchen windows and door.
no curtains on shower/front door windows
tiled area around bath at joint level not very clean at all
cold/hot taps reversed, could cause issues with children!
no instructions for hot water and central heating controls
no parking at property, nearest around 100m away. tight access to front of property for dropping of luggage.
3.9
Overall it was very good, beds comfortable, excellent shower and good WiFi
Back garden and the building work
3.9
The location was great: minutes to the water’s edge and to the local pub and marina.
It was only 10/15 minutes drive to Snowdon- which we climbed whilst we were there; location-wise it really ticked all our boxes!
The cottage itself, although bijou, was well- arranged and equipped, with a comfortable lounge area and two pleasant bedrooms.
The owner had mentioned the parking arrangements so we were forewarned here, but that did make it a little less straightforward, especially with unloading and packing up on arrival and departure.
The owner had also mentioned - in advance- that there would be scaffolding at the property (for work taking place next door). However, the work really impinged on our stay as the work men throwing huge chunks of concrete down from the roof into the rear of the property meant that we couldn’t sit outside at all for fear of injury!
The owner has also taken on board the need for a privacy blind in the ground floor bathroom!
3.9
The cottage was clean and easy to find, there were plenty of pans for cooking etc, bedrooms were small but comfy. There was plenty of hot water and the host was really lovely. There was a convenience store closeby and a good chippy.
There's no parking outside the cottage - you have to go to a parallel street and then walk back uphill which is a bit of pain with bags. Most of the time there was plenty of parking but on a hot bank holiday afternoon not so much! The fridge is very small - only enough space for about 2 days worth of food for a family of 4.
