Great place to stay. Comfy beds. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking. Very clean. Location was a little tricky to find. Google maps wasn’t accurate.

2nd time at this property. Clean, nicely decorated, well furnished, pet friendly. Very solid property.

Easy to get to downtown Jackson Hole. Needs some upkeep on some wiring for the TV area.

The management company is great. The place was clean and and at a very excellent location. There's a river that runs in back to the cabins and is very relaxing.
The reason I'm leaving it 4 stars is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything in cabin next door. In addition, the patio door did not close properly. That is a safety issue that needs to be fixed.

My recent stay at this VRBO property was nothing short of fantastic. Nestled in the serene embrace of nature, this cozy cabin provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with breathtaking views of towering trees and the tranquil sounds of the nearby creek.
The cabin itself was meticulously maintained and tastefully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure a comfortable stay. The spacious living area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration, and the fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation a breeze.
The location of the property was ideal, offering easy access to the town square, hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and charming local attractions. There was never a dull moment during our stay.
Overall, I can recommend this VRBO property HIGHLY! Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat or a family getaway, this hidden gem offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. I look forward to returning again soon!!

There are many VRBO rentals that are houses condos or cabins that families own and use when not rented. Then there are company owned properties that are only rented. This is the later. Everything was fine but you can tell that no-one ever goes there that owns the place. There are no home type items in the property. No scissors no small tools very few but adequate pots and pans no basic need items like salt sugar spices or laundry detergent. I know I can go buy them but in most other rentals that are owned by a single owner that stays at the house occasionally these items are there. You can just tell this is strictly a rental not someones second home that they rent out. Barring the missing normal house items the cabin was very nice and located in a great spot.

Great place and location.

So great...3 block walk in to downtown JH, hot tub is such a bonus, heated tiles in the bathroom floors, and both times I called Outpost for help they were ON IT!! If I ever come back here, I won't even look for a different spot to stay!
4.7
Cute little place in walking distance to downtown. Comfortable beds and living area.
A few things to be aware of - unit needs a little maintenance (switching tub to shower and back took the hulk), kitchen is equipped but not for major cooking (no full sized skillet as an example), walls are very very thin (you can hear your neighbors whole conversation - and I’m sure our poor neighbors heard our screaming toddler!), parking is limited (plan to hike to unload your car).
I’d still call it 5 stars - walkable to downtown. Cute creek with ducks near by.

Staff made arrival and check-in process seamless. Place was perfect for my wife and I. Enjoyed the #4 cabin with the hot tub directly out our patio door. Cozy electric fireplace-stove and convenient off-street parking. Located just a few blocks from main restaurant area in Jackson. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location, easy to walk to everything in Jackson. Nice and quiet.

Perfect location and amenities for our trip. Wish the hot tub hours weren’t compressed to the middle of the day…

For close to $400 in "guest fees," there was no service. Fees included a hot tub fee -hot tub was never cleaned (and unsupervised kids were dominating it for hours), and the area around it never swept, aspen catkins were everywhere. We suggested there be a sign posted and enforced for a 30 minute maximum use of hot tub per party so other guests (5 cabins total) could have a shot at it-they said they would take that "into consideration" which did not help our situation while we were there. For the 11 page 'rental agreement', you would think that could be easily added. When we did finally get a chance to use the hot tub, the jets didn't work and still dirty and cold (unsupervised kids from cabin 5 had just used it.) TV had to be reset (at least a 15 minute wait time for resetting) every time it was used, and the "Outpost Crew" said noone could come and look at it while we were there. There were minor maintenance issues which were not addressed (dispensers did not work, door molding was falling off, no doggie bags in the dog station, no working locks on hot tub or trash can (we were supposed to use a combination to use)-never saw a crew member the entire time although they claimed they checked the premises daily. The neighboring "Rustic Inn" guests kept us up past midnight-apparently no enforced quiet hours there either. Although the location was good, we will not stay there again. For $2254.14 for 4 nights, we expected better service other than lip service.

My fiancé and I met our other couple friends in Jackson for Labor Day weekend (along with our dog). This was the perfect spot for us and we’d highly recommend it for your time in Jackson.
The property was clean, the couch comfy, and the perfect location. We were a short walk from town square which made getting to coffee, restaurants, etc a breeze. However, it’s off the main drags enough to keep it quiet and peaceful at the same time.
Loved having the creek running past and pretty area in back to sit and have coffee. Huge plus the yard had poop bags and disposal for our dog.
I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was and the two bedrooms worked well for us two couples there. Only thing about the main bedrooms bed, it’s big, but it seemed it was two smaller beds pushed together. Didn’t affect our sleep, just a note.
We didn’t use the kitchen really, but had the basics needed.
The outpost team was very communicative and easy to work with. We loved the property and had a great time, would definitely stay again if we return to Jackson.

This is a quiet but in town location and right near the creek. We were very comfortable there. We were traveling with our dog and there was enough room to set up his soft crate. Hit has a cute kitchen that had all the necessities. This was our second time coming and will come again!!!

Not Accurate Description
The pictures of this property and description are not accurate.
This is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 half bath. The full bath is situated between the 2 bedrooms. Therefore no privacy. The bedrooms have no furniture or closets. Therefore you cannot unpack. The beds do not have headboard.
The hot tub is right outside the French doors on the patio. This is a shared hot tub. All of the cabins use this hot tub. Most nights it can’t be used because there are too many people renting and using it.
The place smelled musty. Daily fumigation with febreeze was required. The furniture and area rug in the family room was disgusting. The furniture looked as though it was picked up roadside where someone else had thrown it away. The rug had a shedding problem so socks and clothes were constantly covered. The sitting chairs were stained and disgusting and therefore could jot be used. The couch material was gross and had stains as well. The end table was totally chipped.
The entrance to the cabin was dirty, and the bbq grill was disgusting and needed to be thrown away, unusable.
The outdoor chairs and table were filthy; however the Outpost crew cleaned them at our request. Thank you.
Parking can be a challenge. Only 4 spaces. And street parking is not always available.
This cabin is about location. Very short walk to downtown!

Great communication from property management, but lots of issues with Unit 4. As reported by previous renters, the dishwasher doesn’t function and it seems no one notices as we came in to load of plates and glasses with gunk crusted on. Kitchen sink is leaking into cabinet underneath. The hot tub is on your front porch - which means most of the time other units are there on your front porch. That’s your main view and you get no privacy between 8am and 9pm. Garbage and dog poop littered the area, especially around the main bin. Kitchen supplies were minimal - no cooking knife beyond 3”, no spatula and nothing but salt and pepper. The place itself is functional and clean although chairs and sofa are worn out and stained. Just hoped for more given the price.

The property managers "The Outpost Crew", were wonderfully responsive to any issues that came up.

We had an excellent time. The cottage was cute and warm, it had all of the essentials of a home away from home. It is minutes away from down town Jackson and all the major attractions. We had our 3 and 5 year old sons with us so skiing wasn’t something we had our heart set on (although we did bounce around one the bunny slopes a bit) but the town is clearly geared toward a skiers haven. That being said there were plenty of other opportunities for AMAZING memories, we went dog mushing to granite hot springs, the horse sleigh through the elk refuge, sledding at the Rendezvous park, lots of site seeing and shopping and fantastic restaurants. The towns people are wonderful and the cottage is like I said minutes away from everything. We started our mornings greeting the ducks and swans in the river steps from our cottage and after the day’s adventure we enjoyed The hot tub which is clean and hot. There was one thing that needed addressed which was the washer, it’s a front loader that was in desperate need of cleaning but that is a simple fix and certainly had no real impact on our overall experience, the rest of the cottage was comfortably clean. We’d not only recommend these accommodations to anyone, we’d love to come back for a summer experience! Thanks again outpost! We love Wyoming =)

Great property, very cozy
This property was clean and comfortable! It was great to come home from a full day of hiking to having wine by the river.
The kitchen has the essentials for dishes but not stocked with extras like seasonings, salt/pepper, olive oil etc. Not a big deal but worth mentioning because all rentals are different.
Overall, great stay. I will stay again!

Solid place and great location. Biggest plus was that it was pet friendly and the hot tub was nice. However there were some issues
1) dishwasher was subpar and we ended up doing dishes by hand
2) the couch was filthy and we used sheets to cover them so we didn't have to sit on the stains.
3) check out is early at 10 am which is difficult with an infant

Perfect for us
The check in was simple. The location was excellent. For our family of 5, with a dog and three small kids, it was lovely. We did some fishing, reading, and paddle boarding on the river on the property. It was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. We did not use the hot tub due to Covid.

JH cabin
Our family of four had an amazing time in Jackson January 2020. The property is very close to downtown (walkable) and 20 minutes or so from JH Mountain Resort. The cabin has everything you need and the hot tub is well-maintained. We will definitely come back.
