Cost and comfortable bedroom , clean
The staff was not welcoming especially the lady at the reception was rude and aggressive .

Beds are very comfortable. Nice rooms
Air Conditioned is too strong in the dormitories

The beds felt very private
No receptionist at the desk when I was trying to check in. Had to wait. Dirty bathrooms. Checking out sounded simple and easy until they lost my key and card that I put into the tray at the reception desk, which I was told to do so. Now I got automatically charged 20€ and very upset about that. Still trying to get my refund back.

The toilet door was not working. The instructions were written in French only. We were not able to close the door and once we were able to do that, it got locked with a person inside the toilet. We went to reception. The staff didn't come to see the situation, instead they ask us to the instruct the person locked to kick the door. She was locked for half an hour inside that toilet with no ventilation whatsoever.
The lady who received me on my arrival was great! But during checkout, I was standing there for 15 minutes while the person at reception was on calls non-stop and asked me to wait. I had to force him to listen to me and give me my deposit back which took only 1 minute.

easy to get to, close to train/bus station, plenty of space to secure luggage in rooms.
nowhere to sit in room other than in bed

Location is good, that's all
You don't know exactly what you purchase, even when you call to ask questions. Staff cannot accommodate beds after 9:30 pm

Once I managed to get into my dorm, the bed unit was very comfortable and spacious. The reception staff did finally apologize when I shared my thoughts on the dorms not being ready between nights (I had to change dorms because someone took my allocated bed)
The dorms are unclean (I slept in 2 so feel this is fair to say). The floor is filthy and the bins are not emptied. No soap in bathroom. The beds are not ready and in my case had to change dorms on a 2 night stay. Staff admit there is a housekeeping issue.

no water and sink in bedrooms. not even in toilet. cannot wash your hands without going to next floor. if you are thirsty during the night, you still can drink the water from the toilet itself. !
3.6
The facilities are clean. I was able to request the bottom bunk, so that was nice. The weird thing is that the room I had with 6 other people, had a toilet, but no sink in the bathroom or shower. You have to go on the first floor and use the showers and sinks in that specific area. To get to the location , go through the train station.(Go down stairs from the translation inside (near the Boulanger or any other stair location inside) , walk through the underground for 1 min, and then go back up and out the the other side of the street, and walk down the street to get to the hotel)
That there isn't a sink in the toilet room within the shared room of 6-8 beds, and you have to go to a whole new floor that you are not on to use the shower and the sinks.

I like how close the hostel was to the train station. It is close to transportation as well but if you come back from city center late at night and want to enter the hostel, you will not be able to go across the SNCF hall and you need to take a long détour.
The bathroom is not very clean, especially at night.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The checkin was a breeze. Very close to the train station and a kilometer away from the center. Extremely secure. There is a toilet in the room. Get your own locks for the locker in the room.
I booked for a bed of 4 but in fact it was for 6 people. The stairs to climb up the bunker is a nightmare and actually hurts your sole.
The usual shower and sinks being in the ground floor which is a very cumbersome. The water flow from the shower is also a pain, it’s worse than camping sites and stays for less than 10 seconds.
I still give this property a “good” rating because of the positives and the pain points can be easily rectified to make it a very good stay!

Check-in was easy and the staff was nice and helpful.
Breakfast was not included, you can add it for 12 euros but it's not worth it.
There was a toilet in our room, but no sink. Kinda gross.
It was very dusty and quite dirty in some areas of the room.
3.6
Spacious capsules with privacy and secure lockers in the room.
Showers and toilets are on a different floor, requires the use of a slow elevator.
3.6
The capsule-like beds in a multiperson dormitory are a really great idea, as it ensures privacy! The capsules are well thought out - with USB, plug, shelves, and even a rod for hanging up a wet towel. The staff is friendly. The location is excellent for travellers needing early wakeup and getting to the station (gare :)), as it is located at the centre of the city.
The showers/bathrooms are only on one floor. There is no separation between the women's and men's sections in showers, and this is uncomfortable and a little cumbersome.
