Property was nice but stole my credit card info and cash I’d avoid this rental

Location

Only used my credit card here to pay for rental shortly after several unauthorized transactions made on my card and had $300 cash go missing from my backpack after returning from being gone all day I regret not having my own security camera as I have no proof, I would avoid this house of thieves!

Exceptional

Rooms was very large. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal if you choose too. Large jacuzzi shower tub. Management was very friendly and helpful. Some rooms have balcony. Nice for morning coffee. Located in a safe area. Plenty of restaurants blocks away.Also nice living room space

Terrible customer service

The apartment was overall nice but the only reason I picked the place was because of the jacuzzi tub, which did not even work.

After finding out about the jacuzzi not working, the only solution the staff offered was refunding our money and leaving us without a room, terrible customer service, terrible experience.

Comfortable, clean, safe apartment in a good neighborhood

It is everything it promises to be, and is in a good, safe location with lots of nearby entertainment. Luckily the host was waiting at the door and showed us to the suite. The host Jose was very friendly, spoke good English, and was very thorough in orienting us to the features of the suite. The apartment was extremely clean and was well-equipped with new appliances and two separate air conditioners. The twin jet bathtub was large and clean, but can only be filled with the shower so takes a long time to be ready. Security was decent. Both the front door and the room door use a pin code which is set by the host. At first it was the same code for both doors, but there are often lots of people in the street and the front door pad is brightly lit so it's easy to see the code from the street. Ask for two separate codes. There is a watchman on the second floor so it feels safe. The only issue is there is no deadbolt on the room door or any other secondary means of securing.

Check in and check out are a bit unusual though, and WIFI is EXTREMELY slow. To check in they provide a WhatsApp number with instructions to message, but the number in question was slow to respond. Check out is a fixed-time, and no one is on site to return the $100 USD cash deposit beforehand without prior arrangements. The building is unmarked but the address is clear above the door and a doorbell will summon a watchman who appears to be on site 24/7. If you need good WiFi this will not be a good place for you... the network appears to be shared with all the guests on the floor and tops out at 2 mb/s. Even Facebook was very slow to load on this network. We weren't notified of the fixed checkout time. To check out we messaged the WhatsApp contact the night beforehand that we had to leave at 815 am. The contact told us to send a WhatsApp to the host and sent us his number (rather than notifying the host himself), and when we informed the host early that morning he said it was impossible for him to be there before 11. I had to cancel an appointment to make this work, and when I suggested to the host to make this fixed checkout more clear on the booking site, he argued with me saying it "was not his fault" and 99% of guests give him advance notice. It really is a nice suite in a fun and safe neighborhood, but Miracle really does need to make the check-out more clear on their booking page.

Was cleaning.

My family and I could not sleep for two nights. Because the guests or owners on the first floor had a party until 6 am. Horrible music and talk and horrible noises they did for two of the three nights that we stayed. I do not recommend it for families

Great location, horrible jacuzzi and shower, loud pool party

The apartment is quite modern, located in a very safe area of Medellin. The owner is very friendly and the check in process is very smooth. Although they demand some deposit for this apartment during check in, in cash. The apartment fee can be paid by card. There are nice washing machines and dryers inside of the same building shared with other tenants. There is also a security guy sitting inside the corner of the building 24/7.

The jacuzzi is horrible. It is huge just like the picture, but the water is getting cold if you try to refill the whole tank. It seems that they only have a limited amount of water available. If I don't use the jacuzzi, then it is very difficult to take shower since the edge of the jacuzzi blocks on the way when taking shower. So I have to stand on the inside of the jacuzzi, and bend over my head so I can take shower properly. Be careful that this apartment is right above your neighbor's swimming pool. During my 4-day stay in this apartment, there were 2 pool parties right below mine, on Wed and Fri nights so I cannot sleep at all because of super loud music. Initially I booked 3 nights, and then I requested one more night but the property charged me a crazy amount of money. Then I booked another night from booking which is cheaper. Also during the check out process, the owner is checking every detail of the apartment including bed sheet, TV controller and more. Luckily I have cleaned the apartment personally.

Exceptional

large, comfortable space in an amazingly convenient location close to a huge grocery store and rail transit providing easy access to the rest of the city. plenty of walkable nightlife and food/drink options near by as well! the apartment might have even been a bit too large for me as one person, but it was a perfect option after needing alone time from staying in shared hostels prior. was also grateful for the smooth access to in-building laundry.

the light switches were kind of weird and the bathtub shower was probably too extravagant for me, but those are very marginal issues. had some initial communication issues with on-site staff, but that was primarily due to language barriers (and my fault for having terrible spanish skills) and the owner was always communicative, responsive and helpful

Overall good stay. Facilitues are good. Location is excellent

The bed, wash rooms and kitchen assessories are excellent. The apartment is very new and well maintained. Location is great. The basic necessory things are available near by. Very quiet and pleasent place to stay.

There is no provision to hang garments. No press available. Wash room loacking facility is not there. There is no lift if we are carryjng heavy lagguage. The key delivery and return of deposite service is very poor.
