Very relaxing and enjoyable

The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. When staying at the hotel we attended an IPL game at the HPCS which is about 6km away, the hosts organised a Taxi to take us to the stadium and collect us after the game.

1. Nestled in a magnificent Himalayan country views, the Sakura home stay is a real hidden gem !! Spotless big room with a large window to enjoy the mountains and fields . A small balcony also which was very nice 2. The hotel team are very nice and attentive to all our needs. This is the ONLY HOME STAY THAT REALLY RESPECTS VISA WITH NO STORIES ON FUNCTIONING PROBLEMS OF CARD MACHINE!! THEY ALSO DO NOT ASK FOR EXTRA CHARGES AS IN MANY OTHER PLACES !! A RARE FIND INDEED !! 3. The food is very tasty. We had ramen soup which was delicious

The mayyrass was too soft for us. We prefer a very firm mattrass which is not common even in the best hotels Also hot water for shower was great but short time

overall experience is good

We liked the food… They served awesome food. We had our breakfast at the hotel and tried almost all the menu. All are good, specially Pancake and fresh fruit juice. Also liked the library.

The road is narrow and parking space is not available for Tempo Traveller Mirror was not there in the room.

Really enjoyed staying at Sakura Guest House

The location is wonderful - so close to Norbulingka! It is a small, clean, lovely property. The restaurant serves some excellent Tibetan and Japanese food. The staff is warm and helpful, and the ambience is homely.

Heaven in the hills

The Sakura Guesthouse is definitely heaven in the hills. It is a quiet and perfect sanctuary to escape the hustle and bustle of Dharamsala. We stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved every moment. Takai and Renzin are the most darling hosts who are so welcoming and kind. We enjoyed many chats with them. Our mountain facing room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Actually the best bed I’ve slept on in India. And to top it off…the food! We ate here for nearly every meal. The food was lovingly cooked and so delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you Takai and Renzin. We’ll be back.

Excellent stay at this Japanese dream hotel.

Friendly, excellent and warm staff. Excellent food selection in cute terrace. Really clean and comfortable room with amazing view of the mountains. Quiet and lovely location.

Pleasant stay

We had a really good time during our stay at Sakura. The room was spacious with attached balcony and had all mentioned facilities. And the warmly and friendly nature of the owners made the stay even more memorable one. They run their restaurant downstairs, the food was amazing too.

Superb

Simple, spacious, and light room with a nice view onto a wheat field and the mountains. We loved the calm of the area, perfect for strolls and exploring the Norbulingka institute. Extremely courteous hostess and great staff,, excellent home cooked food served in a cute cafe with outdoor seating (we loved the Japanese and Tibetan cuisine as well as their brownies).

Superb

I just stayed ten days in Sakura hotel. It is a very nice and safe place to stay. The first three days I quarantined myself and they brought me the meals to the room. The food is fresh cooked, healthy and delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And not to forget the friendly owners and staff who are very caring. I highly recommend it.

A slice of heaven on earth

Wonderful location with view of the mountains in quiet area yet near to Norbulinka. Staff made you feel like family. Such loving care and attention to details.would highly recommend.

clean, comfortable, great homemade food choices at the restaurant

Comfortable and clean. Restaurant has good choices for breakfast and the home made chocolate was wonderful. I made a mistake in date booking, the owner adjusted our stay without any problem. Right at the Norbulingka Institute which was very convenient.

Great Himalayan view and nice hospitality

Every staff is so kind and nice hospitality with great Himalayan view. It is near to Norbulingka Institute, Tibetan temple and art works shop.
