Dejligt hotel med super beliggenhed

Dejligt hotel med hyggelige værelser og god atmosfære. Morgenmaden og maden i restauranten var lækker. Beliggenhed midt inde i det gamle fort var perfekt.

Gårdhaven til værelser var knap så hyggelig.

The location is great within Galle The hotel lobby areas are very nice Big room Having a small balcony was nice to have Nice shower

Our room could have used a more tlc and upkeep such as blinds that didn't work correctly, tape around the window, holes in netting and a few other minor things that don't really make it boutique level. Fine for us but just don't expect boutique Very noisy ac running outside on the balcony

Fantastic stay - happy with every aspect.

From the moment we set foot in the property we knew we had made a great choice - rooms, restaurant and location were all fantastic. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. LOVED the warm welcoming scent of cinnamon oil.

Good comfortable weekend stay

Service and quality were excellent, the staff were always helpful and polite. We will be booking again later in the year. Definitely recommend this place

Parking is not the best but in the confines of the town it is difficult to offer more parking space

Perfect for a one night stay

The location was good and the room was clean and comfortable. Nice courtyard garden to eat breakfast in or grab a drink.

I think it was a little overpriced. Staff were nice but their English not great.

Great night sleep with good AC and soft linens.

Centrally located and very nice staff. Breakfast is generous and the natural fruit juice is delicious. Linens were very soft and bed was super comfortable.

Lovely place, nice food and flowers & plants / ambiance!

Beautiful haven in Galle Fort. We Really liked the entrance and tables with greenery, and the flower arrangements were incredible. Great feel! When we walked around the town we felt we were staying in the right place.

Rooms were good but the downstairs bedroom was a bit stale and the bedroom balcony upstairs was kind of an indoor one. As everywhere these days, big pushy asking for reviews.

Parel in hartje centrum

In het hart van de oude ommuurde binnenstad vind je deze rustige parel. Mooi oud koloniaals pand met 5 ruime, schone en comfortabele kamers met fijne bedden, grote badkamer en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het hotel is prachtig gedecoreerd en heeft een mooie binnentuin waar het ontbijt geserveerd wordt en je ook lekker kunt lunchen of dineren.

De airco en ventilator zijn wat lawaaierig

Charming, comfortable and welcoming

A lovely oasis in the centre of Galle. Close to all facilities, really friendly & helpful staff and lovely food (breakfast, lunch and dinner all excellent). The place had real charm and was really comfortable.

Lovely staff, but cold showers and very hard bed.

The staff were lovely and the room had nice ambient lighting, which is unusual for Sri Lanka. The price we paid included breakfast.

The AC is horribly loud and only on one setting which is the highest power setting, we couldn’t use it for more than a few minutes but the fan was really loud and clattering too. The shower was cold and the bed was so uncomfortable. Unfortunately we barely slept because of how uncomfortable the bed was. For the price I would have expected a warm shower and comfortable place to rest.

Perfect location, friendly staff, ideal for cost conscious travelers

Staff was helpful and so friendly, location can’t be beat, right in the heart of the Old Fort area yet off on a quiet street. Beautiful garden restaurant.

Rooms and balcony a little on the small side, restaurant very damp in the rain. Hard mattress.

The staff is nice, food is good, room is nice but not big but bathroom is beautiful and equipped with everything you may need. In my case there was a balcony with a table and couple of chairs but with no view cause it was facing the rear part of the building. The position is perfect

The AC and TV remore controls were not working properly. Some persons of the staff were not speaking in english and it is a pity for a high level accomodation.

Mangonificent place 😍

The location, staff, food, place and whole experience was fantastic. We arrived late evening to check in and were hungry from a day of travel. The staff still went out of their way to ensure we ate something even though the kitchen had just closed.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location within the fort, amazing staff, loved the room and the atmosphere. The supplied toiletries and soaps in the room smelt amazing and were a beautiful touch. Loved this hotel, easily one of the top places to stay in Sri Lanka

I think the aircon fan was stuck on full the whole time, I couldn’t figure out how to make it blow less

Exceptional

The little hotel was just gorgeous, super quiet, clean and green and the interior design was very special. The rooms were pretty so pretty, we right away extended for another night. Above all, the staff was so lovely and helpful, it was a real pleasure to stay there! There are various options for breakfast, we got each a large plate of fresh and delicious fruit and then went for the Sri Lankan option. I can only recommend!
