I absolutely love the lay out, I think the bed is very comfortable and it’s very spacey for two people which I love
It wasn’t very clean, biscuits had been left from the people before, it was quite dusty near the drawers and some drawers were turned upside down. The shower is also very dodgy it took me a long time to figure out using it

Plenty of space, clean, great hot tub. Nice location
Toilet seat was very basic compared to the rest of the bathroom and it had detached making it broken and unusable.

it was everything we could’ve asked for
The only thing missing was it could’ve done with a broom

Lovely room & surroundings. It is very peaceful and a great get away from the business of the world.
Hot tub was great for when the sun went down as well, perfectly under the stars. Will suggest it to family and friends just to bring their own pillows.
The booking information is wrong on booking.com. The room does have Wi-Fi and towels. Which was a pleasant surprise! If you can get a room I would advice getting one was a great stay.
The pillows were uncomfortable. They were too thin and caused both of us an uncomfortable restless sleep over the weekend with stiff necks afterwards. The mattress was comfortable, just the pillows let it down.
If i were to be picky, I also felt the outside of the lodge and deck needs to be cleaned. The deck all around the lodge was green, especially round the hot tub. Just needs a power washer to clean it. It wasn't a great feeling to step onto after the hot tub.
Would be good to have a bug net/stopper at the door as a lot kept coming, even when we would only open the door to bring stuff into the lodge.

we had a lovely stay for my birthday, view’s on to the lake are gorgeous and hot tub was really nice. and the food at the lodge was amazing
the wifi did not work at all, we wasn’t left a arrival brochure so had to call up to get the wifi but it didn’t work at all when we was there. there is no lights by the hot tub so gets very dark luckily we brought our own fairy lights.

Gorgeous lodge with everything you need, beautiful location & easy to find. Really enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend :)
Only thing was that the bar & restaurant wasn’t open on Monday when we arrived, but the location was around 20-25 min walk from the little town so didn’t mind a nice walk & found a Wetherspoons for nice food & drink :)

Hot tube and the privacy was amazing

Location amazing

The location is perfect you feel like you could be anywhere but the town centre is only a 20 mins walk
It was so peaceful and relaxing
There was no key for the door to hot tub so we couldn't lock this if when we went out
3.5
The keys where in the room unlocked, the lake was beautiful and the room cosy. It was a luxury away from home and went on some lovely walks in the area. The lodge was a good pit stop.
The room was freezing upon first arrival and took a while to heat up. In an effort to be environmentally friendly you where unable to leave the heating on while going out, which meant going on a long walk would cause the property to be cold by the time you got back.
Although cleaned daily, every day there where leaves in the hot tubs even though it was covered up, meaning it was questionable if it was properly cleaned.
