Nice little one night stop over in Puno
This was such a cute little hotel right near the city centre! It was incredibly clean and the bed was super comfy and warm (in the cold night temperature). The staff were lovely and it was definitely great value for money!

Very relaxing stay; very accommodating owners and staff; very reasonable prices.
The casa hotel was on a hill with a nice view of lake and town. Quiet location. Am employee saw me on the street and helped me take my luggage up the hill to hotel as I was suffering from altitude sickness. At check in, Addi made me some mata de coca tea. On my birthday, the owners presented me with a delicious chocolate from the best bakery in town. All this for about $15 a night. You can say that I was well treated. Thanks to Addi and Soledad— and all the staff.
They brought me a better reading lamp, so they were about accommodating me as a guest.

Passable
Hot shower at night time. They allowed us to store our luggage when we checked out.
Only cold water in the shower in the morning. Staff were not very friendly. Had to pay extra for heating. Bed did not have clean sheets and I had to ask for towels.

Way over priced
The property was a good location.
For the price the services provided were far below what you would expect. The strangest thing was how they lock the entire building at night and do not provide guests with a key. I woke up at 1am needing to get my wife water because she was feeling ill. But I had no way to move freely in and out of the hotel. I had to call the owner to get the main door open. This is so strange and pretty dangerous in my opinion, fortunately my situation was not an emergency. Guests should be able to move freely in a hotel that they pay for. For this price, I would recommend to pick a different hotel.

Superb
Pretty good room comparing to others where we stayed on our trip in Peru. It was cold, but sleeping was very fine. Stuff, even when most of them do not know basic English words, was very helpful. It's pretty far from the pier where Titicaca tours are and there is not much for tourist outside - it's just a living area, but it's ok.
Probably they only thing that bothered us was low ceiling (around 2-2.2m) and cold floor. But it's very minor for us.
