There was no breakfast, except what we went out for. Did I miss something?
My husband and I are used to having a person to talk to. I found it difficult to reach you before I read the brochure binder in the room. I had just wanted to confirm that there was a fridge in the room.
One of the drawers fell out when I pulled it out too far, to put my stuff into it. It was still empty, and nothing went wrong, but I was surprised. That was the three drawer cabinet that was by the entry door.
My husband wasn't happy with the noise of the air conditioner and found it hard to sleep. Unfortunately, he finds any noises difficult. That isn't only related to this particular stay...

The room was comfortable and clean but the hotel it self looked old
The hotel needs some renovations since it too expensive for what it is.

It was extremely clean and the location to the water is fabulous.
The bathroom door stuck and didn't close properly. Also, it was really warm and we couldn't regulate the temperature.

Excellent location across from the beach. Very clean and nicely decorated and comfy room. We had a balcony which was nice. Quiet and peaceful.
The check out time is too early at 10am. Industry standard is 11am or noon.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and really nice. We stayed in winter but still it's a great location right by the lake and would love to come back in the summer. Great contactless check in and just a great place to stay.

There was no breakfast. The room was equipped with a nice Keurig coffee machine. The room was OK but a little tired looking; the table was small and the chairs were not very comfortable and the upholstery on them was stained. I would have preferred a TV rather than a flat screen computer.
The interface of information via booking.com and the inn management was TERRIBLE. A very vital piece of information was not transmitted to me. We were not able to access the lobby of the inn to get our specific entry code to our room because THE ENTRY CODE TO THE MAIN INN DOOR WAS NOT RELAYED TO ME. We phoned the owner/manager and it was 45 minutes before he answered our call. We were waiting and trying to get in to the inn, which was not staffed at all, for this time....blowing in the wind in the meantime. He finally answered and provided the entry code, which he said should have been in our booking confirmation e-mail in red type. I was not given this information through booking.com. Then, the instructions on the card provided by the Inn as to how to set the entry code to our room were very confusing. The owner had to come over to assist us. We were not very pleased as the check-in process was terrible!!!! It was completely self-serve, which is not what I expected at this price point. The photos over-exaggerated the quality of the rooms, as well.
We chose this location, rather than a chain motel/hotel, in order to have a unique experience. We were very disappointed.

It was a cozy room.
There was a bad rain storm that came through the area shortly after we arrived. Power at the property immediately was down. The owners came by with pocket flashlights. The power did not come back by the following morning. We decided to leave after the first night, though we had paid for 2 nights. I left 2 emails and also called. But the owners did not respond at all. We were hoping we could get credit for another night or even a refund. Their unresponsiveness was really disappointing.
