Every thing else. Very difficult to find the hostel. It is old, dirty, hot, OMG! This should not even be a hostel. Please shut it down!

This is my third time staying here and I always find this place interesting. It has all basic essentials that I needed for my stay, basically electricity, water, security, a bed and a smiling staff. Also, the furniture is very beautiful as it add a lot of traditional flair to this space.
I booked a specific room that I liked during my first stay, but was told that somehow the room is already full. So I was in a small room inside the "family room" where it is way darker and where the wifi can't be reached.

The people kind and able to help, traditional Old Palace in the Medina of Tunis, good location and quiet. Excellent for the value of the money.

Old house, but comfortable bed and downtown location. Friendly people. Will stay again

Super nice stuff!

The building is a real piece of history. The spaces didn't change much from 1700, and it feels both homey and fascinating.
The central room of the hotel opens to a few rooms, each different and stuck in time.
They really should have fixed a few issues in the rooms. Water was not working properly, the furniture were broken and there were not enough blankets for the night.
Most of the fixing could be done in a day by a couple of local handymen, really.

Very helpful and nice host, good location, place has a climate of old city
Wifi has no range in the room, shared not private bathroom, pictures in booking were... Made in a very good angle, in real life it looks different. Address in booking is not correct (close to real, but still)-
If you will have a problem with reaching, coordinates are: 36,7942729, 10,1719582

was great to have a quit time after my long ferry ride. I spent there the entire time to just relax
the reception guy was rude. didn’t feel that welcome. they wanted me to cancel the stay because I delayed the time of arrival. they told me on whatsapp…

This is my second time staying here and I would comeback every time I'll visit Tunis. The room is clean, and the location is magical. Very authentic design with a traditional feel. Very close to food places, and the souk (market) where you'll find everything you'll need and more! The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming.

perfect location, very close to whatever you might need. good value for money and extremely beautiful, traditional building.
it was a bit hard to find because there was no sign for the accommodation. there was nobody there for check-in and even after someone came, it took over an hour to be checked in. i couldn’t close my room door properly.

The hosts were extra nice and helpful. they told us where to go and what to visit in tunis, how to find a buses/trains, they even recorded a message on our phones for ordering bus tickets to djerba. and they even helped us with packing our clothes. They gave us bottles if water for free because we forgot to buy some. I just have never met such nice hosts
The house was more like a hostel. There were few shared rooms and one 2-bedroom room with private bathroom. There was kitchen and a living room (lobby) where you could sit and talk to other guests.
The house was very old and authentic with colorful carpets and tiles and carved ceilings made of sandal wood. the furniture was old, but it was contributing to its oriental vibe.
The house was in a quiet part of the medina but close to everything. great restaurants nearby.

The ancient history of the location is great and full of history.
All the hotel facilities need updating. No air conditioning made the stay uncomfortable. Staff were outstanding and very helpful however there was nothing they could have done.

Affordability and it's easy to find.
Note that there is no wifi, but don't let this turn you away if you are looking for a budget friendly place.

Great location with even better hosts! The hosts were very polite and helpful when needed. The location is perfect right in the intramural city of Tunis not too far from the main square. Loved it
