Warm welcome from the family; very spacious accommodation; beautiful, peaceful surroundings and possibility to visit the animals on the farm.

Casa molto carina e accogliente.

Absolute Country Side Experience!
One of the most charming and cosy country houses we have ever had the chance to enjoy. Frank and Helga exceeded our expectations. They treated us like a family and provided wisdom with all their knowledge. You will be greeted by lots of animals like horses, cats, donkeys, chickens, ducks and SEM (dog) our furry friend! We were impressed by the sustainable establishment of the farm!!
The house is well-equipped and immaculately clean. Frank and his family want to keep the place eco-friendly, so toiletries are not provided. The cupboard was filled with board games and crafts, which surprised us.
Although the weather made our first day a bit disappointing, Frank turned the tables by showing us around. That way we were able to buy groceries and required things. The next sunny day was spent riding bikes in serenity, as well, provided by the host. We loved it and hope to visit again!!
Toiletries were not provided.
The heating in rooms was not sufficient enough to feel warm.

Friendly and responsive hosts, adorable animals in the farm, a peaceful garden. It was a wonderful stay. Ideal for all kinds of travelers, especially with pets. I'd definitely come back.

The little basket of eggs he left outside the door, the fact that he came to watch our show, and the fact that he was ok with us waking him up in die middle of the night because we locked ourselves out of the house. All in all, great guy, great place.
The extra fee that you (Bookings.com) did not advertise openly enough which resulted in extra hassles when we were at the accommodation.

Helga was so friendly and welcoming, and fluent in English. Great communication through the booking app, too. She left us amazing, local Belgian chocolates (we went into town to buy more!) and gave my husband some delicious Belgian beer when we checked out. The wifi worked great. Plenty of parking. We liked having the wood burning stove. Helga's teens let my kids go around with them to feed the farm animals and collect eggs in the evening and the morning - a definite highlight and according to them, "the best place we've ever stayed!" Full-sized kitchen with everything you'd need to make simple meals. It is a little dated, but it is clean and comfortable. My children liked having toys and puzzles to play with in the living room cabinet. The town isn't too far of a drive and has a few restaurants and a grocery store. Easy to find. Very quiet (minus the roosters:) because it's outside of town.
It was really cold in one of the rooms especially - the radiators weren't working in there. Maybe a rolling radiator is needed? The bedding was warm though and having the fireplace helped.
