I loved the food, staff, and entertainment. Everything I tasted was flavorful and scrumptious. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My colleague and I even got a room upgrade and complimentary wine 😊. The entertainment was fantastic; I particularly enjoyed the bowling alley, international show, and live band.

The property had cockroaches, lizards , and a lot of mosquitoes, but it is pretty along the beach and the pool area. A lot of the staff was rude especially the women. I put in a complaint asking to be refunded because of the Lizards , cockroaches and mosquitoes that were in my room and I haven’t heard anything from them

I am actually writing this review while sitting in their lounge awaiting my shuttle. Where do I even begin?
I stayed at ocean coral last August an even though they could use a few improvements I had a fabulous stay. I even recommended it to a few friends, I decided to visit Ocean Eden because I'm thinking it's luxury so I should have a better time than I did at coral. I booked a oceanfront prevelige suite and trust me nothing about it felt preveliged.
First I got to my room with an empty refrigerator which didn't get stocked until about after 2 the following day and that came after making several reports. I was locked in my room on 3 occassions and on all three the locks had to be changed, they offered me an upgraded stay to a master suite and to my surprise that lock also had to be changed, now these people knew about their lock issues and still played it down as though it was nothing, I saw a few other guests who got locked out of their rooms and heard of other's who got locked so I know I wasn't the only one. Fyi people talk.
If you are a person who just goes to resorts just to take pics and all that sure you'll say it's a great stay but trust me if you know what it should be like when you stay at a resort then you'll understand where I'm coming from . To add insult to injury the managers offered me a 25 mins massage in the spa to compensate me for my troubles 😂.My review is a lengthy one but these people need to understand that when people use their hard earned money they are entitled to what they pay for.
Nice property but a whole lot of improvement needed Not to mention the mosquitoes and the nasty smell coming up through the drains and some of the most unpleasant staff but I understand why after talking with some of them.
Thank you Garcon, you are not a manager there but you acted more professionally than those set above you. I'll definitely give 5 stars to you and the few others who tried to assist in my situation.

Every thing was excellent exceeded my expectations
Entertainment was okay could have being better pool bar closed too early

Breakfast was good, more variety needed on the Buffet line for captain’s market.ore buffet line needed as well for the restaurants
2.5 / 5.0
It was good but needed to be replenished quicker. Some of the hot food wasn’t hot. Salt and pepper on the table would be nice as well.
More restaurants available to only adults would be nice as well as the option to make reservations without being a premium guest.

It was gorgeous… very clean. The beach was nice and the pool was picturesque.
The wait time for the room.

It’s nicely located in Falmouth - not Montego Bay and has access to a nice beach and local attractions like Glistening Waters etc.
The layout doesn’t lend itself to privacy. Everything is very public and therefore when having evening entertainment it can get loud when you’re trying to sleep.
This is not a Jamaican experience. The costumes, dancing etc for the entertainment are clearly Spanish - even if the music is Bob Marley. The fly away comment also about the word reggae originating from Spain in one of the evening entertainment specials was insulting.
The food was also very Spanish. The soups, rice and peas, festival etc were really inauthentic.
I call this hotel authentic lite.
Although it’s touted as all inclusive, I mentioned to a friend that this is most inclusive - not all. As you will still be expected to pay for wines, coconut water, room service and top shelf liquor.
Straws are reserved for frozen drinks - which aren’t served in restaurants btw. Robes and towels are reserved in the spa for those doing treatments only - not those using the spa facilities like the hydra pool. And several of the facilities are closed during the day eg the ice cream stand.
The restaurants all close between 11 and 12:30 - except for one on the beach called Jamaica grill.
All in all - having been going to Jamaican all inclusive hotels throughout my life - this hotel is not a reflection of that. It’s a very European take on all inclusive and they have removed the culture from the hotel. Do not expect to see Jamaica here.

The property was beautiful. It’s on my list of resorts to return to. The staff was great and the amenities were just what we were looking for. Don’t go for burgers and fries, that’s not what you should be eating while in the beautiful island of Jamaica anyway.
The only downside was the limited drink options at some of the bars. If you budget and spend more for the privilege option your only issue will be certain bars are privilege focused resulting in top shelf drink options. Would be wise to offer top shelf at all
Bars even if non privilege have to pay a surcharge.

The staff were really nice
The food wasn't good at a lot of the restaurants and I kept finding bugs in my room and there could've been more activities on the resort

I liked that the grounds were always clean and well maintained by staff
Activities and facilities closed too early for an adults resort. Nothing to do after 10pm

Nightlife wasn't the best. Boring

The building in general is really nice; ambiance, aesthetics, room and layout. The stores and staff for the most part was helpful and accommodating. The bowling and especially the shows were really good. I can't recall seeing bowling at any other hotels we have been to.
The Saturday night show was very good. Unfortunately we didn't get to thank the performers and we missed the Michael Jackson show on Sunday.
Entertainment could have been more, perhaps promoted more as well as the food options over the days. We only saw ackee 1 day of the entire stay . . . Haha.

Everyone was nice and friendly
Route 66 had you sitting for 30 to 45 because they don't have food ready

I enjoyed the pool and the lines at the bars were not very long. The staff was very kind, receptive, and quite knowledgeable. I found the staff service to be the best part of this resort and found myself tipping often. Easily the shining highlight of the resort.
-Beach - Extremely rocky and plants everywhere! Manmade, so taper expectations.
-Food - The food left a lot to be desired. Food took an absurdly long time to get (both getting seated at restaurants AND once the food was ordered). Extremely limited actual Jamaican food....in Jamaica! My Jamaican-American wife disapproved. And oh my gosh, the fruit! It was mango season and we couldn't get one ripe piece of fruit ANYWHERE on the resort. I was appalled. My wife and I actually LOST weight from not eating much during our 5 days there.
-Cleanliness - When we got to our room, our sheets (including pillow covers) were dirty with strange stains on them. It took them a few hours to change them.
-Check-In & Check-Out - Our room wasn't ready for an hour after check-in meaning we waited a couple of hours with our luggage. The reception also ran out of welcome packets when we arrived so we didn't have a map or our reservation number to get on wifi for the first day. Check out process was smooth and we were able to grab Breakfast and Lunch while we waited for our driver.

The property was nice and clean. the staff was friendly. Travis at the front desk was amazing. He was a huge help to my fiancé in planning a surprise special dinner on the beach for my birthday. Thank you very much Travis. The host at dinner on the beach. I believe his name is Daniel. He did great and he sang for me it was beautiful Thank very much. Cassandra at the pool is a gem. She was very attentive and her energy was an awesome. Cassandra sweetie keep up what you are doing and do not let anyone change your personality, Thank you very much Cassandra. Tanika at the steakhouse and the gentleman she had sing to me was amazing as well. Thank you so much. Daniel the man with a million jobs. Oh my gosh. He was the pool entertainment. He hosted all of the shows. I saw him on a ladder fixing or doing whatever in the lobby and on the outside. He’s a huge asset to the hotel he clearly does it all. He’s also there all day until late. I hope he sleeps at the resort because that man works too hard to travel home late.
First I requested to have the door decorated and any extras that were available for celebrations. My fiancé and I were celebrating my 40th birthday AND our 6 year anniversary. We arrived at the hotel about 1030am. Our roomWas not ready until 230ish. I know check-in is at 3pm, however I been to plenty of hotels before check-in and a room was ready or shortly after arrival. Then when we finally were able to check in the front desk told us we would be receiving a double bed room. WHY WOULD MY FIANCÉ AND I WANT A DOUBLE BED ROOM ON OUR ANNIVERSARY? So I asked that the room be changed. They advised they were able to change it to a king bed. Ok great. Get to the room no decorations. Possibly because of the switch but whose stupid mistake was that!!!! The bathroom was a bit dated. There was hair all over the shower. Other than that the room was ok. The resort itself was much better than the room. The grounds were clean. The food was ok as well. I definitely was looking for a larger variety of Jamaican dishes but was disappointed. The few they did have did not have that real Jamaican flavor. It was clearly watered down for the guest. When the front desk staff called to asked was everything ok. On 2 different occasions we explained we were here to celebrate and there was no banner on the door or any extras for either occasion we were celebrating. The person that called said they would have someone do it the next day and still nothing both times.
Also I thought there would have been more entertainment and more to do at night since it is an adult only all inclusive. I was looking for more going on late night other than the club and sports bar. Lastly I definitely want to complain bout the all inclusive alcohol. The hotel should specify what alcohols are included and should let guest know prior that top shelf bottles are not included. We purchased a bottle of Hennessy from the main lobby bar, finished the bottle and no one was drunk.

The site is beautiful. The rooms are amazing!!
Booking sold me a Ocean View room with King Bed. Oceans Eden does not recognize this room type. Beware, OEB will give you what they have. They blamed booking. I can not reach booking for assistance.
There are not many rooms with an actual pool view.
Hotel service is slow, especially room service..

I wish that they had excursions on site. If you want to do anything you gonna take just about 5 to 7 hours a day because everything is off site.
