Location was fine. Parking was fine. Amount of items for self catering was fine.
The bed was so uncomfortable we didn't sleep well for the 3 nights we were there, we had to take the quilt out of the cover and put it on the bed like a topper then the sheet back.
The bed is on wheels on a wooden floor so when you moved the bed moved.
The rugs either side of the bed were slippery on the wooden floor and falling to pieces under the rug, so when we did take the rug up the backing fell off, so we had to clear that before we could walk back into the bedroom.
The place was very dark, the bedroom main light didn't work.
The shower cubical didn't have a door, it had a curtain but the water still got out under the curtain, and the curtain kept touching our body. I'm glad we took our own towels as we had to put towels on the floor to mop up the water.
The shower was nice and warm, but very dirty. If you touched the shower head the whole shower fell to the bottom, so water went everywhere. So it was easier to hold the shower head.
The sofa was so near the ground I couldn't sit on it as I couldn't get up. I had to sit on a chair also not too comfortable whilst watching the TV. Couldn't snuggle up with hubby on the sofa.

Everything we needed was there. It was comfortable and exactly what we wanted. Sue was excellent with communication, we were left to it but knew where to go if we needed anything.
It is starting to look a bit tired. Hot water tap in the bathroom needs attention!

Very conveniently located in Oldcotes, with parking. Nice and friendly, Sue was always available. Kitchen well furnished, with everything. Two cozy rooms. Nice pub just in front of the cottage. Definitively worth the stay!
Correctly some reviews note the traffic, which of course is not a fault of the owner, but just a characteristic of the location

They location was great for visiting Gulliver's Valley and the nearby Tropical Butterfly House. The property was also directly opposite a pub with a play area which was perfect for an evening meal that kept our children occupied.
More crockery would have been great in the kitchen but I assume people have broken it and not notified the owners.

The accomodation was exactly as we expected. It was beautifully warm and comfortable. Sue is a great communicator who sorted out tiny issues almost immediately. It was perfectly situated for a family get together in the Tickhill area.

Very cosy, comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Pub for food just across the road. Sue was very friendly and helpful.
Bathroom tap needs attention. A welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk would have been good. A longer period for heating to be on in the morning ideally.

This is our go to accommodation whenever we visit family in this area. It suits our purpose and has everything we need. It is comfortable and well equipped. The shower is also very good. It has excellent wifi and a TV with many channels. Sue, the owner, is always on hand if required and gives 100% to solve the most mundane of enquiries.
Nothing to dislike really, that's why we keep going back but the tap in the bathroom sink can be difficult to turn off sometimes and I worry about water wastage.

Hosts available on site and were very helpful.
Private parking adjacent to the two cottages.
Well furnished rooms and well kept.

We have stayed at this property many times and have always appreciated the location, the cleanliness of the property, the ease of access, all its facilities and the luxury towels.
The tap in the bathroom sink is extremely difficult to tighten and turn off but if it isn't sufficiently tightened then it drips. Also, sometimes, the toilet flush doesn't release properly and so doesn't stop filling, which causes it to run inside the toilet bowl. Both of these minor issues are water wasters and can soon add £££££ to a water bill.
