When you need a place to relax and unwind, surrounded by the spectacular landscape of the Sierra de las Nieves, Biosphere Reserve and soon to be Andalucia's third national park, then this 10-people holiday villa works just fine. You can enjoy the quietness, soak up the sunshine and recharge your batteries, together with your family and friends, enveloped by the mountainous panorama of the Sierra de las Nieves.
The newly-built, two-storey villa is characterised by a rustic atmosphere, which harmoniously mixes with the modern features you will find inside and outside the house. Sleep in the cloud-like beds located in the villa's five bedrooms, each of which is also provided with an en-suite with shower. Also, know that, out of the five bedrooms, four are equipped with a double bed each, and one relies on two twin beds. This way, the whole group can feel comfortable choosing the room they prefer, knowing that each of them guarantees a high degree of comfort and privacy.
All the bedrooms are equipped with warm/cool air-con.
Still, the whole family can gather in the spacious living area, located on the ground floor. Equipped with comfortable sofas and armchairs, the living room offers the best corner to enjoy each other's company, either while watching TV or chatting in front of the pellet stove. Between the living area and the kitchen, a dining table is provided, where you will make the most of delicious meals with your beloved ones. Last, but not least, the fully equipped independent kitchen features all the appliances and kitchenware you will need during your stay.
The outdoor areas are as cosy and welcoming as the indoors. If you want to enjoy your meal in the fresh breeze, head to the enclosed patio, where an area for "al fresco" dining is located. Here, you can also prepare your specialities thanks to the useful grill. Or, if you prefer, sit on the front terrace and rejoice in your meals accompanied by some spectacular views. The cherry on the pie is undoubtedly the salt-water private pool, which you can dive into when the temperatures start rising. You will make the most of sunny Andalucia, as you sunbathe on the sun loungers and fall in love with the terrific views of the Sierra.

A beautiful traditional house in a semi-rural setting (which is more on the darker side but which is pleasantly cool during hot days). We were lucky to be there during spring, with many blossoming plants in the garden and a constant supply of fresh oranges, lemons and avocados which host Paqui generously provided. We rented e-bikes in Marbella which we rode back to the house and were astounded by endless trails and side-streets throughout the often hilly and mountainous landscapes. The view from the deck is never boring, always with a slight breeze. It would be important to mention that during the day the winding street below can get a bit noisy but the nights are absolutely dead silent, so a good night sleep is guaranteed. We appreciated the pellet stove as the nights can still be cool in spring. With its comfy ambiance it contributes to the general sense of rest. A special highlight is the courtyard with its beefy and productive barbecue. A bit more kitchen storage would be helpful

This has been one of our best rental experiences with helpful owners. We were greeted upon arrival and happened to time our visit with their olive harvest. Our hostess treated us to her marinated olives and other treats.
The house was spotless and meticulously maintained. We had more than one patio to use for eating and relaxing. The pool was very clean and pretty. The casa was perfect for 3 couples travelling together, a lot of room and comfort. We also liked the location, just outside of Monda. The evening breeze kept us cool and the sunsets/sunrises were special. We could drive to a public beach on the coast within 1/2 to 3/4 hour and found that we were much happier staying on the hillside rather than in one of the beach communities. We would highly recommend this villa. We thank our host and hostess and wish them well......

We were a group of 9 girls on a bachelorette trip. The accomodation was perfect with a beautiful pool and lots of sun loungers. Extremely spacious and comfortable rooms and bathrooms.
The location was a little tricky and we rented cars at the last minute which turned out to be really important. I strongly recommend having your own car for this villa. You cannot walk anywhere from here, it is too remote. We also took taxis when we wanted to go out (the hosts kindly provided phone numbers for very helpful taxis) who then repeatedly helped us our whole trip. As the location was very remote and didn't have an official address it was difficult to get Ubers to work, so using the local taxis who knew the roads was much better.
Overall, an excellent stay and I highly recommend.

Villa is set in lovely location over looking the hills and within easy reach of Monda town. Supermarkets in next town of Coin about 15 minute drive. Villa was in very good condition, met owners as arranged in car park in Monda who then showed us to villa and around villa. Although owner cannot speak English, communication was good through phone apps. The only criticisms I have is that we booked this villa as it had five bedrooms but were only allowed to have use of four bedrooms. We were a party of five adults, one child a two babies so the fifth bedroom would have been used by the child. Also when booking villa, vacation time was 12 midday but on our arrival the time had been altered to 11am by the owner. That said we had a lovely time and would use the villa again.

Mooie villa met prachtig uitzicht, ruime terrassen en lekker zwembad
Het huis ligt vrij in de heuvels en heeft een wijds uitzicht. Wij verbleven hier met onze 2 kinderen die elk een eigen slaapkamer en badkamer hadden. Heel mooi is het tegelwerk buiten en binnen. De terrassen zijn groot, met een mooi zonneterras, een fijn binnenterras met bbq, en schaduwplekjes. Het zoutwater zwembad is lekker om af te koelen, en ook de airco op de slaapkamers was erg prettig gezien de warmte. Er is een oven, magnetron, koelkast, vriezer met 3 laden, wasmachine, droger, goede pannen en servies en ook bedlinnen, handdoeken en strandlakens. We hebben ‘s avonds vooral buiten gezeten door de krappe en donkere opstelling van de twee zithoeken.
Het huis ligt aan een doorgaande weg (wel veilig voor kleine kinderen omdat het terrein ommuurd is en afgesloten met een hek). Het verkeer dat heel de dag passeert is goed te horen.
De gastvrouw spreekt alleen Spaans, met Google Translate was dat geen groot probleem. Contact kon makkelijk gelegd worden via Whatsapp.
We hebben heerlijke dagen gehad met luieren aan het zwembad afgewisseld met tripjes. Een bezoek aan Mijas en Ronda is zeker aan te raden. In Monda kun je prima eten bij Café Luna. Een auto heb je hier wel nodig.

We were met, as advised, in the car park in Monda by Paqui and her husband (we think). We didn’t speak much Spanish, and they couldn’t speak much English but with apps we got on fine. Very welcoming couple. Paqui showed us around the property and as there were only 4 of us, she recommended the front two bedrooms as they were cooler and had lovely views. She wasn’t wrong! The photos don’t do the property justice…it’s perfect. Everything you need is there. The pool area, sun lounging area & two lovely dining areas let us have breakfast & lunch in one area and dinner next to the big bbq in the courtyard. Various Supermarkets are in Coin about a 10 minute drive away. The property overlooks the main road, which can be a little noisy during “rush hour” but it didn’t spoil our holiday at all. Paqui & her husband come and empty the main bins and clean the pool/water the plants. Very well maintained. One thing we wanted to do was to be able to walk into Monda but with the winding roads in the dark, no pavements and the speed of a lot of drivers, we didn’t chance it. You can’t see Monda from the property but it’s only about 5 minute drive away if you want to have a walk around, and take some photos and have some refreshments. The property is quite central to several villages, all worth a visit. We went to Ronda one day, about a 2 hour drive…but again, worth it especially if you go via the scenic route. If there was one thing that was missing, it was access to a downstairs toilet as we had to go through the house wet to go upstairs to our en-suites. I think there was a downstairs bedroom but it was locked. Although there were things left over from other guests, I would recommend taking essentials like washing up liquid, dishwashers tablets, Bin bags (large & small for the toilet bins & recycling bin), washing powder & toilet rolls or buy them while you do your food shop.

Ons verblijf in deze mooie accommodatie is ons erg goed bevallen. Het ligt niet op loopafstand van het dichtbijzijnde dorpje, maar een paar autominuten er vandaan. De accommodatie heeft verschillende terrassen, waar je kunt eten, bbq-en, zonnebaden na een duik in het zwembad of gewoon relaxen en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht. De slaapkamers zijn superschoon en hebben goede bedden. De badkamers zijn goed uitgerust en hebben een prima douche. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad; een aanrader dus!

The quality of the beds/mattress and pillows is amazing, we slept better than at home! The water pressure and temperature always perfect for our showers. The views from the house over the fields is breathtaking. It's a short distance to the nearest village, yet far enough to give you that privacy and countryside relaxation feeling. Highly recommended !!

Très jolie maison au coeur de la sierra de las nieves à 20 minutes en voiture de Marbella, 50 de Málaga. D'un entretien exemplaire tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur, tout y est conçu pour que l'on s'y sente bien. Paqui et son mari sont très accueillants et tout à fait à l'écoute.

Los dormitorios son espaciosos y los cinco con sus cuartos de baño. Las camas muy cómodas y los baños excelentes. El salón es grande y con espacios diversificados para comer, leer, ver tele o juegos. Bien iluminado y ventilado. La cocina superbien equipada, no le falta un detalle.
El patio con barbacoa es un espacio ideal y muy bien equipado con fregadero, leñera, y una barbacoa estupenda.
De la piscina diré que "una pasada", muy limpia, ha hecho las delicias de todos, niños y mayores. Y el porche y solarium maravilloso, con vistas estupendas.
Cómo disfrutaron los más pequeños de la zona con árboles, hasta se fabricaron una tienda con troncos y cañas. Y amplia zona para aparcar y de fácil y cercano acceso desde la carretera. El pueblo a unos minutos andando.
Quién da más?... Pues sí, la amabilidad, educación y empatía de Paqui, la dueña. Estupendas personas, ella y su marido.

Tiene una ubicación excepcional, una limpieza fuera de lo que estamos acostumbrados, está equipado con todo lo necesario para descansar unos días, en definitiva, pocas veces puede decirse que es tal cual se ve en las fotos. No engaña nada la buena presencia y la categoría de la casa.

Vele mogelijkheden om buiten te zitten: voor het huis, naast het huis, bij het zwembad en op de patio, waar je als het te warm is of 's avonds als het afkoelt toch nog lekker kunt buiten zitten. Complete uitrusting. Zwembad prima voor afkoeling, helaas niet verwarmd maar voor oktober net te doen.. Uitzicht vanaf het terras voor is mooi, op de bergen/heuvels en je kunt 's morgens mooi de zon zien opkomen achter de bergen vandaan.Zeer aardige eigenaren.

An amazing and spacious villa. The multiple bedroom/bathroom combinations are ideal for a large company (we stayed as a couple, but enjoyed the space as well). It was very clean and the house was fully equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces a lot, especially the pool and the barbecue place. The hosts were very friendly, even though our Spanish needed an upgrade:)
The location is perfect and the views were stunning! The villa is located near small villages. And Coín, a bigger town with a large shopping area, is a 20-minute drive away.
All and all: perfecto!

We hebben met onze familie een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze woning. Het huis is zeer schoon, groot, erg compleet ingericht, en biedt veel privacy doordat elke slaapkamer een eigen badkamer en toilet heeft. Ook zijn er meerdere terrassen rond het huis waar je altijd wel een eigen plekje kunt opzoeken. Het fijne zwembad is niet enorm, maar zeker groot genoeg om met een aantal mensen tegelijk in te zwemmen. Het contact met de eigenaren Paqui en Pepe was prettig en efficient. Het dorp Monda is niet op loopafstand, maar een paar minuten met de auto. Veel mooie plaatsjes en steden binnen 30 minuten rij-afstand, net als de kust. Wij hebben genoten.

L'accueil et la gentillesse des propriétaires est exceptionnelle. Ils sont présents sans être envahissants, de bon conseil et très réactifs en cas de soucis.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Well equipped House. Very nice bedrooms , wonderfull outdoor areas with a beautiful view. The owners are very kind and helpful. Monda is a nice quiet little town 20 minutes walk from the House.

Een heerlijk huis met zwembad in een prachtige omgeving met sinaasappel amandel citroen en olijfbomen. Het huis ziet er in het echt net zo goed uit als op de foto's. Prachtige kamers met heerlijke bedden een keuken die prima uitgerust is en een fijne binnenplaats en goed terras. Alles is aanwezig en als er iets op is of kapot wordt het direct geregeld. In de avond was het koud en hebben we de kachel aangehad. Bij aankomst stond er van alles klaar, wat eten, fruit en een fles wijn. In de week werd door de eigenaar sinaasappels en avocado gebracht. Het zijn echt aardige mensen die veel voor de gasten over hebben. Enige minpuntje is dat de eigenaars geen Engels spreken maar dat is op te lossen met je telefoon. In Monda kun je wat eten en drinken, voor grote supermarkten moet je in Coín zijn, op 20 min rijafstand. In drie kwartier zit je in Malaga achter je café con leche met churros.
