The “bear's den” downstairs is a veritable playground for cubs. There's plenty of room to romp, with lots of games, including foosball, and a large DVD collection when they're ready to wind down and watch a movie. There's even a bedroom off of the main area with its own bathroom, two full size beds and a Barbie house for the kids to play with!
Indulge in all the great North Georgia Mountains' offerings nearby. Get your paws on some tubes and float leisurely down the Toccoa, relishing your serene surroundings. Commune with nature on an exhilarating hike through the mountains or a peaceful day of fly fishing.
For more leisurely pursuits, head into town for a little shopping and a pampering spa treatment, take a scenic drive through the mountains, then return to the cabin for a spectacular sunset on the “wine deck.”
Grill outside for the clan and have a picnic outdoors on the deck, or have a local chef prepare a romantic dinner for two. Lounge on the Adirondack chairs with a cool glass of iced tea, or head down to the lower deck for a moonlit dip in the hot tub. On cooler evenings, the large fire pit provides a warm and inviting place for stargazing.
Views abound in the master bedroom upstairs, with its soaring, vaulted ceilings and cozy private deck for you and your honey. Lounge with a good book in the spacious, adjoining loft, or climb into bed and catch your favorite show on the large flat screen TV.
Escape from the everyday in this wonderful wilderness lodge. While the thought of leaving this peaceful sanctuary may seem “unbearable,” you will always have a spectacular place to call home the next time you hear the call of the wild.

We had a Scenic Railroad ride and zipline experience planned. Both were further from the cabin than we thought but enjoyed both. 4 nights was not enough but a long weekend was enough to unwind.
The cabin was great! The drive way to the cabin not so fun. We had a 4 wheel drive and we would highly recommend that especially for any bad weather. The cabin was further from Blue Ridge than we thought. But we got to know the area.

Went with my family, two late teens, two in their late forties, and two in their early 70s. We all had a blast. The cabin was beautiful and the views were absolutely stunning. We will be talking about that view for years to come.
We called to see if firewood was provided for the fire pit day of arrival and whoever took my call was so helpful.
She explained the area and where to stop
For food and firewood before getting there. She told us to stop at Taccoa riverside restaurant.’
Honest to god. Go and get the trout and sit for that view.
The property is challenging to get to but worth it. The scenery is enough to make these Florida beach residents questioning their life choices.

Cabin was nice and cozy with spectacular views. Town is a short drive away but the privacy is worth it. We will be back!

Beautiful home beautiful view. We asked for an early check in, turned out we didn’t need to, but they were willing to make an exception without any push back. That was very much appreciated. We had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer.

Cabin was great. View was fantastic. The location on the VRBO map is wrong. It’s about 30 minutes SE of Blue Ridge.

My family stayed here during spring break and we loved it!! The view is amazing and it was so relaxing. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The steep driveway was the only intimidating oart but we did okay. Wonderful place!!

Cabin was awesome. The drive in and out of nieborhood and drive way access is very sketchy. 4WD is needed.

We had a girls trip this weekend to Skyline Lodge. One of the reviews I read mentioned that the drive up to the cabin was terrifying and I thought they were just not used to driving in the mountains. The drive up to the cabin is terrifying! Parking is very difficult around the cabin (we had three vehicles). Aside from the last quarter mile of the drive, the cabin is lovely. We did have some trouble with the basement level being very cold, but there are instructions on how to remedy the situation. The hot tub was great, the kitchen had everything we needed, the view was incredible. We’ll definitely be back!

The booking process all the way to checking out was so smooth and easy. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous. The only thing that scared us was the steep driveway. We had an amazing time.

We had an incredible stay! The house and property were incredibly clean and organized, well decorated, and peaceful. The cabin looks just like the pictures.
Helpful Tips:
1) Cell service goes out about 45 minutes before the cabin, and you do need to print/screen shot the directions provided to you after you book to get to the location. The cabin itself has great Wifi!
2) The roads to the cabin & up the driveway are steep. Definitely suggest making the drive up in daylight for the first time.
3) The kitchen is fully stocked with most needed appliances, dishes, and silverware. You will want to pack (or pick up about an hour before arrival, before you'd start the journey up the mountain): crock pot (if you want one), bottled water, food, spices, cooking spray, big coffee or hot chocolate mugs if you like big ones!
4) Suggested meals: We brought a crock pot and made a lot of soups/chili/etc. which was lovely in the cabin environment and served our group. Oatmeal, pancake mix, S'mores, hot chocolate were also good choices!
5) Cabin was stocked with flashlights, batteries, dish detergent, towels!
6) Other suggested items: There are plentiful blankets, but bring more if you want or have a big group! Bring laundry detergent if you plan to do laundry. We couldn't burn fire outside do to a fire ban with dry weather this trip, but duraflame logs would be good to bring for that.
Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful accommodations and amazing view, however the driveway is very steep, narrow and intimidating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Removing the built-up leaves made it a bit easier getting up the steep incline of the driveway. It is a beautiful place.

Skyline Lodge was the perfect place to stay for a panorama view of the Blue Ridge mountains. Sunsets were breathtaking from our balcony. Kristy and JT made us feel at home and even had a nice welcome package for us. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms were very spacious. Everything we needed for a stay was provided. With 3 large bedrooms, playroom for kids, hot tub and firepit, this is perfect for a large family or friend get togethers!!

My family and I stayed for 3 nights during spring break 2023. Everything was great...exceeded my expectations even with great reviews as one could never be 100% sure that what you read is what you get...but grateful and happy to say this one is true to its excellent reviews. Thanks to owner and management of this property...we are definitely coming back to same property ..that is how much my family loved it..

We vacation to Blue Ridge annually and have stayed in several different cabins. Of course each location is always a unique experience. This cabin did have the best overall view from the panoramic windows on the main level. You really felt like you were in the mountains. It was very private, with only a handful of nearby cabins. That being said, the drive up the mountain could be challenging for some depending on the weather as there were some steep grades. I have a 2 wheel drive Silverado, and only had tire slipping during rainy conditions. Despite that, it is worth the experience. EBR was very friendly and quickly resolved our minor issues regarding trash bags and gas fireplace issues. If your looking for a secluded mountain get away then definitely consider this cabin. Keep in mind, it is about 30 minutes to groceries and downtown, and about 15 minutes to a convenience store. It really wasn’t an issue for us though as we brought a good supply of food/essentials with us.

Beautiful, well equipped cabin, very enjoyable stay. We stayed a week and the cabin had everything to keep you entertained. You truly feel immersed in the mountains. Last part of the drive to get to cabin is steep at first pass (Michiganer speaking) but managable. Definitely will be going back, the area is peaceful and quiet.

Great cabin in an amazing location. We wanted a getaway from crowds and people in general and this place did not disappoint us!
4.0 / 5.0
This cabin is BEAUTIFUL and very SPACIOUS! The view is SPECTACULAR! It was very very clean! It has everything you need to cook. All you need to bring is the food. The cabin is very nicely decorated with bear theme. BEWARE: although it says paved roads. There are many steep roads and dangerous roads. This cabin is the highest one in that area and it is VERY SCARY getting to and from. Once we arrived, we NEVER left until it was time to leave. It was a very SCARY experience for me and my family. We weren't able to fully relax due to being worried about leaving. The listing says that you are near many things. However, you are 25-30 minutes away from anything. My communication with Blue Ridge was overall good. (although at times I did get the voicemail instead of a live person, although it was during business hours) I think someone should answer 24/7 at all times due to any emergency. However, I was contacted prior to my arrival time to advise their was an issue with some pipes and that the water might be off when we arrive. That was nice to have a heads up about the situation. When we arrived the water was not working., I called and it got fixed. However, after 1 few hours when my son went to shower, the water wasn't working. I had to call twice (sometime after 9:00 P.M.) and spoke to the answering service. I got a call back from Holly (the manager) sometime after 10:30 P.M. and she advised she was trying to get in contact with the property manager but he wasn't answering. She tried her best to help me but it was out of her hands. We didn't get water until sometime in the middle of the night. Therefore, 2 out of 4 family members were unable to shower. The next morning Holly contacted me to see if it was working. Other than that, we enjoyed the relaxing time! Although I couldn't go out to celebrate my birthday, we celebebrated the best we could being together. Overall, I would recommend this cabin for the view, the space, the theme, how clean it was. However, do your research (which I did not) about the distance and roads leading to this cabin. I hope this helps!

The drive to the house was a white knuckler so we were glad we had gone to the grocery store prior.
It would be nice if hand soap was provided at the kitchen sink.
But...the view was great, felt like we were in a tree house. Deer loved passing through the backyard. The kitchen is a dream especially for folks like us that love to cook.
Thinking about a return visit next year.

Cozy Cabin with Great Views
We loved this cabin! It was the perfect size for our family of 4. My young girls loved playing with the Barbie house downstairs. The views from the deck were amazing to wake up to, and the sun sets right behind the mountains. Fire pit was great too for s’mores! The location is a bit of a drive (25 minutes or so) from downtown Blue Ridge, but we didn’t really mind it much. There was plenty to do nearby, and the drop in river spot was one of our favorite activities!

Can't improve on perfection
I have booked many mountain cabin getaways. Without hesitation I can say that this was by far the best. Cleanliness is at the top of my concerns. Followed by location and amenities. Skyline Lodge exceeded hopes and expectations in all categories. Do you look at this pictures and think- is it just good photography or is it really this nice? Let me fill you in- it's even BETTER! This cabin has the most amazing views- from all 3 decks! I don't think I saw a speck of dust or dirt when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked with anything and everything we needed (probably could have prepared Thanksgiving dinner there!). Mattress were super comfy, linens were definitely above average. We loved the remoteness of the the cabin, but also appreciated the fact that we could be to the grocery store, town of Blue Ridge, Walmart, or a number of other places, in about 30 minutes. It was the best of both worlds.
Our favorite places that we would recommend checking out while there are:
1) Mercier Orchards
2) Iron Bridge General Store and Cafe (amazing breakfast!!)
3) Tupelo Tea (we hit it 3 times in 6 days!)
4) Sweet Shoppe of the South
5) Blue Ridge Adventure Wear
6) A bit of a drive but SO worth it- Aviator Cafe
7) Wonderful pull off for river fun on Aska Rd
8) Lake Blue Ridge- our 2 teen girls especially loved this. We hiked the loop (short and easy with nice views), had a picnic on the beach, played in the water.
9) Fall Branch Falls
10) Long Branch Loop- nice hike, not too much in the way of views, but beautiful nature.
11) Sea Creek Falls- this was a favorite. Short hike to the falls. It has a wonderful pool at the bottom that our girls enjoyed cooling off in. This felt much more like a "locals" spot when we were there. We absolutely loved it.
Here's my take away- The town of Blue Ridge (and surrounding areas) are filled with yummy food, fun shops, breathtaking views, and warm, friendly people. The cabin couldn't not have been better. There is not one thing I can think of that needs to change or improve. We cannot wait to book another stay. I will recommend this area and property to family and friends.

Fabulous sunset views
It was perfect. The home is spacious and well equipped for the short stay. The drive is at least 20 minutes to a store... so get your groceries on the way. Would have been helpful to know this. The sunsets were great. Truly enjoyed the solitude.

The drive from the gate to the Cabin
Once you clear the gate, sign says "dangerous drive enter at your own risk." This should be noted in the cabins listing. I would have taken my truck there.

Incredible views
Property was very nice. Plenty of room for everyone. You can't beat the views from everywhere in the home. Location is further out of Blueridge than suggested in the add but not bad. If your from flat country Bring your driving skills and nerves for the last half mile of the drive lol.
