About this house rental

Our 4 bedroom, 2 bath lake house sits on the east side of beautiful Lake Bomoseen with gorgeous morning views, all-day sun and shimmering water sunsets. Inside families, friends or couples can spread out in an open floor plan with dining room seating for 8, wrap around sectional in the living room and an upstairs with 3 bedrooms and an open area.

We have the best times with family & friends sitting around the table on the back deck overlooking the lake while we tend the grill and sit in the hot tub. Sometimes we move to the lower deck directly over the water to watch each other jump off the dock and swim. After a day playing on the lake we’ll enjoy smore’s at nighttime over the firepit in the back yard. In the winter after a day of nearby skiing at Killington, Pico or Okemo we love coming back to our cozy home, cooking a great meal and looking up at the stars from our hot tub. We also enjoy going to a couple of the fun & friendly local restaurants.

We’re next door to Crystal Beach with its playground, basketball court and beach/safe swimming for all ages including little ones. There is also great hiking nearby.

First off, would like to note that Patty is an amazing host. She communicates well and is clear on expectations and genuinely cares that we have a great experience and that we have everything we need. Property is just as pictured/ described. Very clean, bedrooms are roomy, and comfy. Thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and a guidebook for everything like the hot tub, trash , local places to eat and attractions nearby, etc. We all loved being right on the water and spending time on our kayaks, paddling over to the Lakehouse Pub and Grill, as well as just sitting outside with a fire and watching the boats and birds. Hot tub was amazing !! Have stayed here before and will definitely plan on staying again! Thank you Patty !

We recently stayed here and will definitely be coming back next summer. Patty was a great host. Very easy going and very responsive to any questions. We found the house very clean and well maintained. The lake views from the back deck and the hot tub were stunning. There were 7 of us and had plenty of room. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful lake get away.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Patty's lake house. Very nice home, and excellent location right on the lake. It was quiet at night relaxing in the hot tub and listening to the sounds of the ice contracting. We also watch locals ice fishing in the morning before we drove to Killngton to ski. We had a great time. Thanks again.

From start to finish, this was a fantastic trip. Patty was very quick to respond to messages and clearly explained everything we needed to know. The house was gorgeous and exactly what we were looking for (enjoying a relaxing weekend in). The hot tub was perfect. Loved sitting in front of the gas fireplace and reading. Hoping to turn this into a yearly trip we loved it so much.

The perfect weekend

The perfect weekend

We were in Castleton for the weekend for my daughters graduation from Castleton University. When we arrived on Friday I never wanted to leave again the property and the setting is spectacular. After graduation on Saturday we had a small family gathering and enjoyed the lovely front porch and the kids went swimming off the dock. The kids were 24, 22, and 21 years old And have a blast.

My family travelled for a wedding right down the street at the Bomoseen Lodge and Tap room. The house was larger than we thought it would be from the photos. It was clean, comfortable and filled with everything we needed. The owners are super nice and easy to contact. Instructions for house use were clear and easy to find. Bonus was a little dock fishing with a few catches on an exceptionally warm weekend

Nice lake house getaway. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Views of the lake were great especially sitting on the deck. Patty was very friendly and nice to deal with. This was our second visit to the Crystal Beach house. We would definitely return and would recommend staying at the Crystal Beach house.

Patty ensured that our stay was perfect— she communicated well with us and left a very helpful info packet at the house. The owners checked in with us by phone prior to our arrival to review certain things and ensure we had everything we’d need. Everything is clean and in perfect working order. We simply just felt “at home “ here. The location is absolutely beautiful and is just like it shows in the listing (I think it’s even nicer than the listing!) Lots to do in the area, and the home is the ideal place to just relax. We’ve stayed other places in this area in the past and I would highly recommend this over any others. Patty was an awesome host! She definitely makes you feel at home away from home. The property and views are beautiful, the house is kept cozy and clean. This cozy home was exactly as described. It was like staying in the home of a close friend or family member, everything you could want was there. Patty was a pleasure to speak too and had lots of great recommendations to share. In early November many of the colorful leaves had already fallen but there was nothing like coming back from our daily hikes to a sunset over the lake in the hot tub! I can only imagine how nice the summer months on the lake must be and we would love to come back to this home and see!

We enjoyed our stay, the sunsets, house right on the lake, the hot tub, the deck for views from morning til night. House with plenty of room and filled with light. Had one special day when family came for cookout from South VT and North VT, the deck had room for distancing and all the amenities we needed to make it a great memory. Hope to come again next year!!!!

Beautiful house and property. Plenty of space for our group of 7. Owners were easy to talk to. You can tell they take pride in the house and property especially down at the water. Took up all the weeds and threw sand down. Staying again next summer and can’t wait!!
