When we arrived and jumped in the pool the first thing my young daughter said was “Mommy, this is the life!” And I think that embodied our trip. Mark made sure everything was perfect and was so helpful before and during our stay. The place is cleaned really well - better than many other homes I’ve stayed in. Loved it!

It was a remarkable place to have a family vacation. First off, it was very clean which made for a very comfortable stay. Having access to the resort and the beach was also such a plus. Also, having the pool at the house was awesome. The location of the house was so nice with Barefoot Landing across the street. We would definitely book this house again and refer our friends to it as well.

Lovely stay at Mark’s home! It’s a beautiful house in a nice spot. Heated pool was fantastic (esp since the weather didn’t cooperate) and Mark was extremely responsive to all our questions and needs!

Home was very nice and close to the beach only a 5 min walk, or you could get picked up by the resort shuttle. Every room 3 of the 5 bedrooms have their own on suite and the other two rooms have a bathroom. We had a great time!

The property was beautiful. Elevator was invaluable for the grandparents of the group. Kids absolutely loved the heated pool. Mark was very accommodating. The water pressure at the sinks was minimal and the high heat burner at the stove not functioning properly; the other burners too low. A disappointment to this home chef. We would rent this home again.

This was our first family trip with 6 adults and 2 kids. We were nervous about finding a place to fit us all and this property did not disappoint. It was large enough that each family had their own room and bathroom with an extra room to spare. Everything was so clean and well put together. The amenities that came with the house was an amazing bonus as well.

This house was perfect. It met all of our needs as a family. The location was not only beautiful but also perfect walking distance if we wanted to exercise and walk to the resort pool with the babies. We could see the ocean from this home, which I love. The pool in the back yard allowed us to still have sun time while the babies napped. Mark was amazing to deal with. Very responsive and informative of the area. We couldn’t have picked a better place for our family to relax and have our vacation. We will definitely be back.

Omg the pictures of this beautiful home don’t do justice.The pictures are beautiful but the house is more beautiful in person. We stayed at our pool more than we did at the resort pools and beach. We had ages running for 11 months to 79 and each and everyone loved it. It’s very spacious and has everything you want or need on vacation. Oh yea the elevator was a big plus as well. We are already booking for next summer. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Traveled to Myrtle Beach with the family and another family. Had a wonderful time. The house is fantastic. Beautiful pool and plenty of room. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the beach and resort pools and restaurants. Could not have been easier. The owners were fantastic also. Very responsive to any questions before and during the stay.

This property was everything it described and more. It was absolutely beautiful. There was more than enough space for our party of 10. Having access to the resort was an added bonus. Mark was available whenever needed and made our stay seamless. It was super clean and decorated beautifully. I would definitely recommend this property to any family looking for a relaxing vacation.

We have been coming to this resort every year for the past 8 years and renting whatever available houses that fit our group. I think we have found the perfect house here. We stayed here while hurricane Ian was coming through. This house is solid, we felt safe inside despite the raging wind outside. Granted it was a hurricane category 1, so I can’t speak to a stronger hurricane. Mark, the property manager was super responsive, not to mention very kind to offer an early check in and late check out since there were no renters before or after our rental period. The house is just lovely and well cared for. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely be back next year, and the year after that.

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The house was exactly as described and absolutely spotless when we arrived. Mark was great to work with and always quick with all communication. The view of the beach was even better in person and we were within walking distance to the beach/resort. "Southern Comfort" lived up to its name. The home was welcoming and you simply felt at home while you stayed. It was beautiful, spacious and comfortable for all 9 of us to enjoy. Mark was an exceptional owner, very responsive and even worked with us to get into the home early as we drove a distance to get to the home. Nice place. Great communication with property manager. House was exactly as described. Wifi a bit choppy. resort beach is really crowded, so we went down to residential areas to hang on the beach where it was less crowded. Pool was salt water which was great for my skin/hair. My son had a wonderful time and spent most of his time in the pool. Definitely recommend for a family getaway.

My husband and I travel every year with my parents, our 3 grown adult children and their significant others. This was a great property where everyone had their own space, but we also had great communal space to cook together, eat together, play games and hang out as a family. The private pool was our favorite spot after a day at the beach and for relaxing in the evening after dinner. Although we usually went out to explore the restaurants that were very close by for dinner , the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast/lunch and morning coffee and had everything we needed if we opted to stay in and cook for dinner. A nice mix of a private and quiet property, but also right across the street from Barefoot Landing, and so many other nearbyy restaurants, shopping and grocery. And although we only took advantage of the resort facilities a couple of times, it was nice to have that option of using resort pools, facilities and food options, in addition to having the private pool and neighborhood feel. Best of both worlds. We usually stay at a resort, or mostly at private houses. This property gave us both options which accomodated everyone of every age in our family. Thanks for a great week!

Yes, another 5-star review! Loved our stay! Mark was a fantastic host! Great communication and everything was as described, if not better! Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for the 8 of us to spread out as needed. Pool was heated, as requested, and was used every single day and night! Showers were great, as were the beds. Simple check in and check out process. The elevator was immensely helpful to my disabled husband. Location was perfect, and restaurants close. We loved Joe’s Bar and Grill and also Blueberry Grill for brunch! Didn’t even use resort amenities because the house had it all!

The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids.! We had the pool heated and used it every day, it was a short walk to the beach, and it was in a spot close enough to entertainment but not in the thick of it. The community was beautiful and felt very safe.

I have stayed in many of the houses here in North Beach Plantation and this by far is my favorite. The floor layout was great, and I love all the decorations, it was truly thought out. The host was very helpful even on a holiday, I would totally stay here again. Thanks Mark for being such a great host! And thanks VRBO.

The owner was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival, on our arrival and even followed up after we departed to make sure we had a great time. The house was exactly as the pictures and fully equipped with everything we needed. The resort was a short walk away or you can drive and park in the garage. Same for the beach! The ocean water was warm and calm during our stay. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. The recommendation from the owners were right on point. We highly recommend this rental and will rent again when we return to Myrtle Beach.

Five (5) stars for the house and location - not far at all to the main highway 17, yet in a family -oriented, neighborly, safe community. Loved the high ceilings, the cleanliness and the home is elegantly decorated as an upscale beach home. Plus having TWO master bedroom suites for the parents really spoiled us! Also, Mark was very attentive to our questions. (FYI - if you wish to do a week at the beach, would strongly recommend you bring your own beach chairs/umbrellas or reserve, in advance, your chairs and umbrellas: search online for North Myrtle Beach Chair Rentals. Families went back-and-forth throughout the day, easily, from the beach to the NP water complex.) The beach and North Plantation water complex was very busy every day, but the best part of the day was coming back to the lovely, private house pool, relaxing and chatting more with family! We stayed for a week with another family. It was walking distance to the beach. Loved that there was a resort with a pool so our teenage boys could meet friends. They met an entire group of teens and all hung out for the week. My son said it was the best week of his life! The adults had fun as well. We will definitely be back.

Great location - close to resort with pools, hot tubs, swim up bars, lazy river, and kids games along with easy access to the beach. House was perfect for our two families! 72-88 all week ( pool was still a little chilly wish it was heated) but none the less it was a very nice place to vacation!
