This was the perfect place to stay for our family while visiting the finger lakes. I think they thought of everything. All the basic needs were provided and beyond. The bottled water system was a nice bonus. There were toys for kids, a beautiful view, comfortable beds and more. We especially loved the pond and hot tub. The hosts were readily available and willing to help in any manner. We all agreed that we would to stay here again in the future.

What a view!!! Plenty of room, great space for family game night!!! Swing set is a great added bonus. You can take a quiet break and fish at the well stocked pond, then have fun running around the large yard for a family soccer game. Don’t feel like cooking , take a short drive into town and have a delicious meal at the Timberstone. Then enjoy music in the park on Thursday night.

Our family stayed here for a long weekend.
The house is beautiful- better than the pictures portray and is roomier. We were 7 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for us all. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we were not able to enjoy the outside area as much as we would have liked but still had plenty of fun. The pool table was enjoyable. We would definitely rent it again and recommend to friends.

We were a group of 7 friends from our college days, staying for our annual get-together. The house was very clean and spacious, and the large property well kept. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake, sitting around the fire pit on a lovely September evening, the use of the hot tub, and how close we were to so many different things to do. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any inquiry or need that we had. We would certainly stay here again!

This was our second stay at this property, beautiful view ,lovely home ,very clean! We are already booked for next year. That is how much we love this property! It is perfect for our family! Some of the highlights of this property include large dining area, workable kitchen(plenty of room for more than one or two cooks,) the kitchen is also well-stocked with new pots and pans plenty of placesettings and cutlery, we cook dinner nightly so this is a must have for us! There is a large family room with a bonus playroom for the adults and children, six spacious bedrooms, The hot tub is a great bonus feature along with the kids playground and a beautiful well-stocked pond for fishing. The only negative I can think of and it’s negligible is the fact that you can’t sit out back during a rain storm, we’re going to come up with a plan for that next year. We rented a pontoon boat at Keuka water sports , staff is friendly and helpful. Don’t forget to stop at the bakery (Vern’s) in Hammondsport for the most incredible cinnamon buns you have ever tasted, get there early they sell out quick! And a must stop for dinner is the Timberstone, the food is outstanding and the staff is professional and friendly! We would like to thank our hosts, Jeremy and Anna. Thank you for sharing your incredible home with us!

This property is absolutely incredible! It was prepared beautifully for our arrival and was very comfortable and relaxing for the duration of our stay. The views are beyond comparison and I don't think we turned on a TV (and there are many!) the entire week we were there. The owners were absolutely wonderful and anything we needed that wasn't already provided, they took care of immediately.

We are three families, grandparents, children, and grandkids. The kids enjoyed boating, swimming, and catching tadpoles in the 1 acre pond. We sat around the firepit at night, roasting marshmallows and singing songs. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and bbq worked perfectly. The view of the lake and adjoining countryside is stunning. The house is close to the attractions of the town, restaurants, beach, and water sports on the lake. Our hosts were very responsive and immediately replied to all questions and requests. Children and adults all had a great time.

This is our second time staying at Wine Down and we just love it!! It works great for our group consisting of two couples, our grown children and their spouses and grandchildren. We love just relaxing, playing pool, games around the big table, the outside play equipment for the kids and the hot tub. Jeremy and Anna are great hosts. The house is well stocked with everything that you need. It is a great weekend getaway. We are planning on returning next year.

This lovely hill-top home with sweeping views is a great spot to bring a group or large family. Jeremy was easy to work with, and our family successfully cooked a Thanksgiving dinner for 13 people. The views are better in person than in the photos. The bedrooms are larger in person, as well. We loved the hot tub and the big back deck. The only piece worth noting is that the stairs in this renovated 1900's farm house are a bit narrow and steep, and my 72 yr old father had difficulty navigating them more than once a day. Jeremy did set a single bed in the game room for us, as we also brought our 94 yr old grandmother who we knew couldn't go up stairs. It worked out really well, as there is a door to the game room and a full bathroom right off this room as well.
We hope to be back sometime in the future!

What an amazing property! I can't of anything that wasn't already thought of. The view is incredible, the spacious layout, the hot tub, the fire pit, the pool table--we were so entertained and so relaxed. A very special place for our group of sisters and cousins to get together.

We loved this property! There were 13 of us that stayed here. Some of us were from out of town, others were not. We needed a central location to hang out. We had campfires at night. Some used the hot tub. Some played pool. Some hiked. We wanted to fish and kayak, but it rained on our planned day. Next time! The beds were comfy. There’s plenty of seating everywhere!
My only thing to note to other potential renters…ALL 6 bedrooms are upstairs. We were hoping that at least 1 bedroom was on the lower level for 1 guest with mobility issues. The stairwell doesn’t have a full length handrail, due to narrow, old farm house stairwell, so to get around this issue, our guest used the sturdy outdoor stairs and accessed the 2nd floor from the balcony. No big deal. Just something to be aware of.
The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been if the room with 3 beds was switched with a room with a queen bed. We had 3 adults staying in the small cramped bedroom….and then 1 adult staying in a HUGE room. All of the bedrooms are GIGANTIC except for the room with 3 beds.
We all enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

30 + acres of perfection! The house is large clean and perfect for our family vacation! The large workable kitchen had everything you could need , including pots and pans which are typically horrendous in VRBO’s, a plethora of sizes and all in good condition! Plenty of plates, cups , utensils ( even cute little kid plates). you couldn’t ask for a better stocked kitchen. The house was very clean and orderly, all the bedrooms are upstairs and are extremely large.. The playset in the backyard is brand new and amazing , my grand children thought it looked like castles with a drawbridge lol.(there is a small sandbox so bring sand toys). The playroom is well-stocked with kids games and adult games there’s even a little train table in there that my 15-month-old grandson spent most of the week playing with. The pond is stocked with fish (they even had fishing rods for us to use ) FYI the fish much prefer real worms! We booked for next year even before we left!! You will not be sorry you chose this property. Boat rentals, JetSki rentals, and kayaks all within seven minutes of the property. Hammondsport city center is also close, there are several excellent restaurants ( Timber Stone is a favorite) and Thursday night is music in the park( bring a few chairs and relax with some great music) wonderful area! Homeowners were quick to respond to all my goofy questions because I didn’t take the time to read the description but that didn’t bother them, they were quite gracious, sweet and kind.

Annual Family get away
This home is all that is outlined in the listing - the view from the home was amazing - overlooking Keuka Lake from the patio was so enjoyable - whether it was enjoying our first cup of coffee on the deck in the morning to playing games in the late afternoon. We so enjoyed our stay and the ability to do a day trip to Watkins Glenn, to visiting the quaint village of Hammondsport. I highly recommend this home for a vacation spot!!!

Wonderful time making memories
Our stay at Wine Down with family and friends that are family was absolutely wonderful. The house worked out great for all of us including our grandbabies. The view of Keuka Lake was wonderful and having the hot tub out the kitchen door was so convenient. Jeremy and Anna were wonderful hosts and always answered our questions in a timely manner. We are planning a return trip in the spring/summer to enjoy the outside of the property.

Nice House for a large gathering
Thank you for an easy process and a lovely house for our holiday gathering with friends and family! The pool table was a big plus, as was the hot tub, which was clean and ready for us. There were plenty of private bedrooms for our individual family units and the view of the lake is incredible. It would have been incredible if we had snow, as the hill in the back is perfect for sledding!
If you are booking this house and are planning large family style meals, you may want to bring a larger stock pot and bowls if you think you need them, but other then that there were plenty of dishes, glasses and cutlery and the appliances are in fine working order.
While the house is directly on the road, there is not a lot of traffic and we could not hear it from inside the house. In the summer, I imagine we would have spent a bit of time no the back patio and upper deck, which has superb views of the lake. For younger children, the playset looks safe and well maintained. Hammondsport is a cute little town and a very short drive.
Jeremy was easy to work with and responded to my questions very promptly. Thank you for having us at your lovely home!

Fabulous Family Time
The property was perfect for our family to get together for the holidays. Members came from Florida, Indiana and New Hampshire. We enjoyed a local 5K, made Christmas ornaments at the Corning Museum of Glass and shopped local all while relaxing and enjoying each others company. The pool table, hot tub and yard space was fabulous!

Perfect Property for our Family's Finger Lakes Visit
This property went above and beyond our family's needs while visiting the Finger Lakes! My husband and our three children and their spouses, 1-year-old grandson and pet dog had ample space and were very comfortable in this clean, beautiful house. I was especially pleased with the large gathering areas in the dining room, living room, bottom deck and upper deck!

Best trip ever
The property is very nice. The rooms are spacious, although another full bath would be nice when have a full house. The amenities are great and the location is excellent. The lave view is beautiful. Numerous wineries are just minutes away. We also ventured to a brewery and antique store. You couldn't ask for a better location. I wouldn't have changed a thing. The owner was great with communicating, working with us through COVID and even extending check-out. I would stay again and recommend to others as well.
