Good location, dirty and poor response from owners

The location was perfect for my needs

The apartment was not clean. Dirty toilet bowl which was most definitely not cleaned, water pressure was extremely poor and hot water was gone within a few minutes of a shower. Contact owners by email asked them to have these issues resolved and they replied with we will pass on to our maintenance team. These issues were not attended to during our stay and we ended up cleaning the toilet ourselves as we would not use in it's current condition

Basic room ok for people with good mobility and happy to carry everything up and down tne stairs.

The location was good and the parking was a bonus.

The apartment was up two flights of stairs, The shower shown in the photos was walk in and the one in the room was over bath. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The taps in the bathroom were not the best.

It's an OK stay, if you are working in Chelmsford for a few days

Located just a few minutes walk outside the town centre, for shops and amenities. It is quite spacious, warm and quiet, toilet facilities are reasonably clean and OK for a few days of work.

Very nasty black mould in the closet (it's in 3D!!) needs immediate cleaning, very unhealthy. Kitchen is understocked: only 2 forks, not larger pots/pans. The only frying pan is not induction, so it won't work. Some of the mattresses are really old and worn out, need replacing. The internet connection is terribly slow - can't even stream YouTube. Overall price is far too high.

The professionalism of the staff who found us another flat when I bombarded her/him with photos of problems. The flat seemed to have suffered from the hands of vandals but the company did its best to accommodate us.

Superb

The location was close to shops and cafes. There was an en-suite off one of the bedrooms, complete with shower, toilet and basin. The bath was deep and inviting. The living area was spacious. The beds were comfortable.

There was minimal furniture in the living area. One sofa bed and a small table with two bench seats in addition to two bar stools. Not enough room for everyone to relax in the he room. The kitchen was sparsely stocked and difficult to prepare any meals in. There was no instruction booklets about how to use the appliances. Not ideal for long stayers, but good for people who just want a bed and a roof over their heads.,

Absolutely filthy apartment, the toilet and sink and shower need to be bleached, by far the dirtiest apartment I’ve been to so far. The host (Karen) accused me of smoking weed in the flat (must be some sort of scam), I do not smoke and felt really upset when I was accused of taking drugs. If you’re looking for somewhere cold to stay, this is the perfect apartment for you, it was absolutely freezing cold in the apartment and the water is either boiling hot or freezing cold. Cigarette butts in the bedroom inside a Fanta bottle, and the TV remote had no batteries. The oven wasn’t functional. Overall this apartment was an absolute headache and I don’t recommend it to anyone. I’d suggest you book a Travelodge or the local premier inn. The host also had the audacity to call me a ‘Paki’. I was so shocked and disgusted by this, come on Karen you should know better than to be racist in 2022.

Great location but could improve on kitchen utensils and some basic items offered.

Location is excellent and parking very handy.

When you rent a flat you expect it to be in “living” conditions. However, the kitchen utensils provided we’re very poor or not provided at all: I couldn’t find a bottle opener or a colander to drain pasta. Also, it’s usually great hospitality to offer complimentary tea, coffee and basic cooking condiments like salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, etc. in properties like this one and unfortunately this wasn’t the case.
