From cooking with your favorite family chefs, circling around the table as a family or telling your favorite stories in front of the fireplace you are sure to enjoy the opportunity to be together. Spice it up and spend the evening or rainy day in the lower level, custom designed rec room. Play a game of pool, shoot a game of darts or watch your favorite home team on the big screen. There is something for everyone here at Austin Dune Beach Club.

House was a great fit for our large group. We were a business trip, and the long table in the kitchen was great for us all to work at comfortably, along with enjoying our meals. The entire community is adorable, and we loved it! Looking forward to going back next year when the amenities are open (we went after season).

We have 10 grandchildren under 12 years old and 8 adults and it was the perfect place. 6 of the grandkids slept in the big room at the top of the house. It's also much appreciated that all 18 of us could sit at the same table for our meals. And as always the Beachwalk staff is super helpful.

Our extended family booked 10 houses at Beachwalk Resort Michigan City IN. My family stayed at Austin Dunes Beach House. Even though we had 24 people in the house and Cabana we never felt crowded! There was so much room on each level people were able to spread out and not feel like we were in each others’ way. The house was very clean upon arrival. Amenities available. And it was nice to see some items left behind such as coffee filters. Dishwasher tabs. Paper products. There was plenty of kitchen items and grill tools to make family cooking very comfortable. It was a great location quick walks to pool. Beach. Cafe. And Central Park for evening entertainment. It also does not have a neighbor behind so when outside a sure sense of privacy was felt. It was an amazing week with 4 generations living loving and laughing together. Thanks for opening your home!❤️

The home accommodated 4 generations comfortably. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were comfy. However, the living room couch and outdoor furniture were broken and pretty uncomfortable. It was great having the golf cart and wagons, although one wagon broke on the last day.

The house was very spacious and had plenty of beds for all to sleep. The cabana in the back was very cute and made for a nice separation for those who got up early. Unfortunately the temperature control was challenging. It was either way too cold or way too hot. Covered porch furniture needs updating as well. Need more amenities in the public areas for the number of people on the resort. Only 3 ping pong paddles for two tables? Is there a place for a pickleball court?

Our four children and their families joined us for a week at Austin Dune. We had stayed there 8 years ago and loved it. The accommodations are spacious, which turned out to be even more significant this time since three of the days were either stormy or had air quality warnings that kept us inside. The kitchen is well-equipped with every utensil you might need. The use of the golf cart was an extraordinary bonus, especially for the seniors with mobility issues and the preschoolers with little legs. We really appreciated the addition of the pool table in the basement, and the variety of games that were supplied in the living room. Our only problem was handled quickly and well by management when we reported it. A wonderful, memorable week.

Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep; the 3 refrigerators were great for all the food we brought; the kitchen is well stocked for cooking; the long table allowed us to eat together; there was room for us to play games and lots of space for conversation. This is our second year using the Austin Dune Beach Club and Bailey's Cabana for our family's annual Christmas get together.This house is absolutely amazing and spacious for the whole family. We had such a great time this year! I would also like to add that the personnel that handle the property has been amazing as well. We’ve stayed at more than 9 Beachwalk properties and this is a one of the best. Usually we stay during the summer months but chose to spend our Family Christmas at Beachwalk instead of a downtown Chicago hotel. Enough space to be together and apart. Large 20 seat table was perfect for our activities and 9 bedrooms were perfect for comfortable nights. Beautifully decorated and even had a Christmas tree for our gift exchange. Loved it!

We spent 3 days with our large family and extended family in this wonderful rental, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We rented both the main house and guest house. Both places were very clean, and we had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving feast. They even provided a yummy coffee cake as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. We had a problem with the oven in the main house, and the management responded in a very timely manner to fix the issue; and even provided us with a backup plan in case they were not able to resolve. Overall, this was a great experience, and we will definitely return!

My husband, son, and I stayed at Beachwalk for the first time in August 2020. We loved it so much we wanted to come back the next summer with our whole family. Austin Dune Beach Club and Bailey’s Cabana was the perfect property to accommodate our group. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The pool table in the basement ended up being a huge hit. The beautiful dining room table was large enough for us all to sit together for meals which was really great. We thought the location was perfect. No traffic to speak of yet close enough to walk to the pool. The golf cart was very handy for getting everyone and their belongings to the beach. The only complaint we had, and it was a minor one, was that we were expecting from the property description and the pictures that a standard crib was available in the home. Upon arrival, we realized it was actually a Pack n’ Play. Our son is too big for a Pack n’ Play but still sleeps in a crib at home. We ended up placing a twin mattress from the loft area on the floor in our room which actually worked out very well and helped us transition him to a “big boy bed,” but just important to know for planning purposes for some families. One additional suggestion (again, very minor) would be to consider adding a privacy fence/wall around the outdoor shower. It was very convenient to have the outdoor shower after a morning or afternoon at the beach! We are already planning our next trip to Beachwalk, and couldn’t have asked for a better week with our family!

The Irish eyes and Bailies had the best open first floor with the kitchen, dining and living room in space large enough for the 22 of us. Great set up for group of 20. Plenty of room to congregate together and the kitchen/dining/living area in the main house was great. Even “theatre room” and the game room were very close. If there was a complaint is that a few of the beds were not comfortable and the pillows were not great either. It didn’t detract from our enjoyment but they may want to consider upgrading g these items.

The house (and guest house included) was just as promised. Clean, well decorated, spacious, and welcoming. Plenty of room. Nice to have several rooms to gather in rather than just a living room or kitchen. The extra fridge is a great feature. The fire pit is really nice in the evening and private. Beds were comfortable. The smart TV's didn't all work with the brief instructions given for which input to use, but we didn't mind.
The managing company has MANY rules and waivers to sign. They had rules about how to adjust the thermostat only 3 degrees at a time, and on arrival only add a few items to the refrigerator in 30 minute increments. That's a bit unrealistic for a large group. One of their employees was so rude I almost cancelled. If you get her when you call, get her name as I did not, and hang up on her. Call another day and get someone better. The maintenance man came one evening to try to fix the gas fireplace. He was very nice and worked on it for an hour. It never worked. That would have been nice to have.

My wife and I rented this place to stay with 16 friends for a weekend retreat from the city.
The house was very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and having several living rooms was great for our group.
Convenient location as well!
The outdoor area with the firepit is nice as well, and we got good use out of the provided Weber grill!

We had a wonderful time with family and friends in this massive, well appointed home. Lots of space for fun, cooking, and eating inside and out. The kids loved the “loft room” with multiple beds, TV, and gaming chairs. We would highly recommend this property.
