All the staff during our stay were fantastic. Location is great being very close to the beach and included parking so not having worry there was a huge bonus.

Breakfast was OK. If you're a surfer, location is good
My room was not in the hotel, but in an annex across the road; 3 pretty small rooms over the road, overlooking a small garden with tatty table and chairs. I entered through cobwebs. There were plenty more in the corners of the room, with spiders in 3 of the corners and 3 more in the bathroom. Not a place for arachnophobes. There was lots of mildew around the doors. It was a hot night, so I was thankful of a fan, but it was filthy. Tea cups were dusty and plastic beakers were sticky. The bed was made of wood with a mattress about 2 inches thick. It was like sleeping on the floor. Very hard and uncomfortable. I was awake most of the night. If, like me, you're not a surfer, location is poor and the bottom of a hill, tough to get to, with a long walk up the hill for any public transport. For a solo traveller, paying well over £100 for the night, I expect a clean room and comfy bed as a minimum. This was NOT good value for money

Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and friendly service. Staff went out of their way to help.
Wonderful sea view from our room.
Shower very basic and kept getting too hot or too cold.
Neighbouring room had TV on loud til early hours ( but only for part of our stay.)

Lovely views, helpful staff.
Perhaps some longline individual milk containers could be supplied to go with the teabags and coffee sachets, as the amount supplied on arrival only lasts for the first night. Thank you.

Nice room clean and comfortable. Lovely location.
Breakfast disappointing sausages were burnt the field mushroom was huge and bacon on my wife's plate was undercooked. When leaving our room the smell of fish was very strong from the restaurant which was quite unpleasant.

The location was perfect right on the SW path. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. We were a bit late and there was no problem with our dinner reservation. The food in the pub and for breakfast was excellent they made walkers feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable.
The room we had was in the annex and was a little on the small side.

The room faced out onto the kitchen- the fan etc were noisy during the day

Everything about the accommodation was good - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were really friendly. The welcome milk and chocolates were a nice touch and the breakfast was excellent. The accompanying bar and cafe have a great atmosphere too. There are two great trails that you can start from the hotel. It was a really great experience!

Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and the food (we eat a light meal in the pub) was good and reasonably priced. A good location just a short distance from the beach and coastal walks and good parking facility across the road. Excellent breakfast.
We booked via booking.com and found the photograph accompanying the accommodation details had no resemblance to anything we saw there? Thought the price was a little high for the accommodation we got. Although the room was adequate and very clean it was small and a little tight. Not a room you could spend time in if you happened to have bad weather etc.

Probably the best location in Cornwall that I visited. It was right near the beach in the beautiful town of St. Agnes. The hotel itself was beautifully restored. the main restaurant was lovely and dated back to the 1600's with big dark wooden beams in the ceiling. Food was 5 star for dinner. A very good breakfast with several options was included daily and the breakfast room looked out to a view of the sea. The location was stunning. I loved the village of St. Agnes. I stayed 3 nights and could have stayed at least a week.
My room was not in the main hotel but in a small building across the street which was more modern and part of a house and commercial building. The room was good except the shower was not as clean as it should have been, but as soon as I mentioned it they immediately resolved the issue. Very good service.

I stayed in Driftwood Spars for 5 nights in their single room over Easter break. Absolutely lovely place to stay. I was made to feel welcome and well looked after from start to finish, including my dog. The food was exceptionally good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Brownies on the arrival made my day after a long journey there. I will be back soon.
It would have been lovely to have a mini fridge in the room to have chilled drinks after a long day of hiking.
