It was overall a lovely place to stay. Will definitely stay here again if I’m coming to Ipoh with my whole family

Loved how so many toilets there are as it mqkes getting ready easy and fast

Exceptional

Excellent home stay for 13 of us. The house is very clean and bed is comfortable. Amy is a super host. Very responsive and helpful. You can trust her food recommendations. We all enjoyed our stay very much.

Mary's house is wonderful

The size of the house, it is really big and new. Very clean and it is impressive that every room has an ensuite bathroom. The story that comes with the house is lovely too. Lovely for the children to want to preserve the house.

Nothing on the house. Everything is available. Wish I could stay longer.

Though it was a short stay but the residence meet our expectation.

The space is very comfortable for a big group and convenient location to nearby eateries.

Pressure of the shower is pathetic for some bathrooms. Cockroaches at the ground floor suite. No rooms with twin beds.

Convenience and near to our activities.The host is very helpful and very friendly and met all our needs. MR is well managed

Maybe can provide more kitchen towels so that we can use it for cleaning.

Great homestay but pest were around too

Suitable for big family, comfortable, clean and nice environment to spend quality time with big family..

There were quite number of cockroaches spotted in the room and bathroom..

Comfy home stay, feel like going home.

The owner is so sweet and friendly, also she is very considerate and caring of us. Happy to found this stay and have a good sleep here. Feel like home

Highly recommended

The host was very friendly and helpful. She gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to go around Ipoh even before our trip. The homestay is clean, comfortable and well-equipped for big groups. The location is strategic too, with lots of eateries around and not too far away from town.

awesome stay with friends and family

Great house with great facilities. Strategic location can just waze it. The owner/staff are really friendly and they will provide a step by step manual check in. Easily communicate with them, can just ask them for confirmation on anything. Very clean property. Overall, we loved it and would love to recommend this property.

Enjoyable stay for 8 pax. We will be back :)

1) Very friendly Host 2) next to property is a coffee shop, 3) near to eateries and local market (ie BIG Tree Hawker Centre) 4) very comfortable and feels like home. 5) modern furnishing, 6) Filtered water 7) Safe surroundings 8) love the bed and pillows.

1) cleanliness can be improved. Floors and stairs feels dusty 2) can be quite noisy in the morning as it's next to a coffee shop 3) towels does not feel clean

The host, Amy is so friendly, exceptionally helpful and proactive, making restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. sh

We booked for 12 pax of friends, and all felt like home. Terrific location surrounded by great eateries within walking distance; entire house super clean, comfortable bed and ample parking within premises.

Amazing!

Host Ms Amy were super awesome, Friendly, responsibility, helpful. The house is clean, comfortable, model design and surrounding have many of chinese breakfast stalls. Location is great too, 8 mins to Ipoh centre. definitely will come back again, love it.

Would definitely book again if I am visiting Ipoh with a huge group of friends.

Location is great. Very near to the town centre. House was very spacious, has 2 family suites (which has 2 rooms each) and an additional 3 other rooms. Could easily fit up to 12-16 people. Great for huge groups. Owner was also super friendly. She will message and give very detailed check-in instructions so the check-in was very hassel-free.

One of my friends actually saw a huge cockroach in the room. Not sure where it came from as the house is generally pretty clean.

First of all, everything about the property was amazing. It was spacious and extremely clean. The property is located in a very convenient location, there’s quite a number of restaurants nearby. Ms. Amy was a pleasure to speak with regarding the property and she was very accommodating. She made sure my family and I had absolutely no problems at all during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at Mary’s Residence to anyone that’s planning a trip to Ipoh cause I definitely would book a stay at this place the next time I visit Ipoh.

Convenient, accessible and great

First of all, the host is very responsive and all detailed instructions will be sent before check in (with picture guides included - so convenient!). The check in was easy and seamless. The rooms were great with plenty of space and alot of toilets. The water heater and pressure were just the thing to relax after a long drive. There are 2 common living room areas & 1 huge balcony which are wonderful for family & friends to hang out in. The home is located right beside some popular coffee shops and a few minutes drive from Tai shu keok. Overall very convenient.

Perhaps a few chairs for the balcony would be nice.

Super suitable for big group family!

My colleague and I really love this place. The house was clean and big. We rented the whole property and its have 7 rooms and 7 bathrooms! The view of balcony really beautiful, especially in the morning. The house owner was very nice, she was really helpful and provided a lot of must-go place and good food to us. We really enjoy this loved place. Highly recommended for big group family! We will come back again when we visit Ipoh with a big group friends! Really worth to the money!

easy to deal with the host and she's so friendly. The place also nice and suitable to do a reunion and gathering with a large number of people. each room also have bathroom and tv (Astro). The house also nice and beautiful

The design was very modern and beautiful The bed was very comfortable The toilet was very clean The owner was very nice and helpful to guide us around Ipoh

Living area was too small Quality of toilet paper was not good It would be better if there was a karaoke system
