We loved staying in the Blue Moon. It was in the perfect location to walk around and explore Apalachicola. The quick drive to St. George Island State Park provided us with a lovely beach experience, which, of course, included lunch at the Blue Parrot. We loved the fun decor and the porch swing was definitely a plus. Very clean and charming. Only request would be a Keurig coffee maker, however they did provide filters and coffee for the coffee maker they had. Highly recommend this little jewel.

We were not told that the house had changed into 2 vrbos and we should have been told. But it was settled

The property is in a great location, and is an easy walk or bike to most of the things to do in Apalachicola. The house is much larger than it appears on the outside, and can comfortably house a larger party like ours. It is very well equipped and stocked, and the host is very communicative. Will definitely look to stay here again next time we're in the area.

We came to Apalachicola for our daughters wedding. Blue Moon was in the center of downtown. The space in the house and yard made us feel a little secluded which was nice and quiet. We walked everywhere! I was shocked at how perfect everything was. I highly recommend booking here for your next stay in Apalach.

The house was very charming and had character, The location was terrific. During our stay it was unusually cold weather for the area and the heating system could not keep up, but that is understandable, (The cold front was hitting a large portion of the country,) The kitchen had ample supply of cookware and dishes, Beds were comfortable and clean, Having access to the cute outdoor area was nice, Just wish it had been warmer outside so we could have enjoyed that space, Mother nature didn't cooperate. Would stay there again and recommend to others,

We always come fishing with Dennis Crosby the day after thanksgiving. This is the first time I’ve stayed in this property but I can assure you it won’t be the last!

Quaint, roomy, high ceilings, close to water, everything worked (except front bath outlet) comfy, some beds better than others…

All in all, a very pleasant stay.

First time staying at Blue Moon and we will be back! Beautiful home located a few steps from all the restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to visit the area. Dealing with the owners was easy, prompt and courteous. We were also lucky enough to meet the amazing Rover, the owners four legged baby.

We had a wonderful experience renting the charming Blue Moon cottage. The host Beth was very helpful and check-in was a breeze. The home is nicely furnished and had everything we needed for a four-night day. It’s conveniently located in downtown Apalachicola, within a very short walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The one thing to keep in mind is that it is an older home without central heat and air, however there are ventless units throughout. We were never able to cool the entire place consistently, but it was intensely hot outside so the difference in temperature made it feel pretty cool. We had six people in our party and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.
The one thing by to mention is that Apalachicola closes really early. Oyster City Brewing closes at 8, most restaurant close by 9 or 10 p.m. On Saturday, four of the five restaurants were closed in the middle of the day - I can only assume they’re having issues finding enough staff to operate. The nightlife used to be vibrant with local music, but that has also seemed to be nonexistent these days. We truly hope Apalach returns to the previous splendor soon.

Lovely home
Perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable.

Nice place
Only issue is place is listed as 3 bathrooms… actually 2 baths down stairs and a half bath up stairs… not a full bath. Was no issue for 3 guys… would have been big issue if we had brought wives.

It was an overall easy and convenient process! We loved the location — right new places to eat and only a short drive to the beach.

Charming cottage , great location!
Just returned from a weekend stay at Blue Moon Cottage. Check in and communication with owner/mgr was excellent. The cottage was very clean and comfortable for 2 couples. We loved the location, as it is walkable to everything. We were in town for the annual Butts & Clucks BBQ event, perfect location for that! A third couple rented the Blue Moon Loft , right next door ( upstairs ) and that was absolutely ADORABLE ! A cute compound, excellent for friends traveling together. We enjoyed Oyster City Brewing, Raw Station and a few other places for cocktails. Apalachicola is a friendly, old Florida gem!

Great Property!
The Blue Moon Cottage was a perfect place for 2 families of 4 (4 adults and 4 kids) to comfortably stay. There was plenty of space for everyone and the house was beyond adorable! We loved the seating on the front porch, as well as, the comfortable back patio area. It was perfect for grilling and low country boil. We had everything we needed.

Home for the Weekedn
We loved the house and location. Beth was quick to reply to any questions. We had such a fun weekend going to various restaurants and listening to bands. Coming home to a nice home added to the weekend. Only suggestions would be a step stool for getting in and out of tub in back bathroom. We had some short people ha! There was not much water pressure in front bathroom but it did not damper anything. Just an FYI.... Thanks for sharing your home Beth!!

Great for family
The layout of the house made it easy for my family of 4 plus 2 in-laws to have space to gather as well as space to be alone. And the location is ideal for taking a stroll in town or through the nearby historic neighborhood. I would highly recommend this property.
