This place was very clean and had games for kids as well as relaxation inside and out on back porch. I definitely recommend!

Don’t bring anything. The house has all utensils, towels, cooking pots, and amenities. Great place for family to come hang out while at the lake. Nice decor with many gathering areas for games and family time.

The home is clean, comfortable and cozy. Our family enjoyed playing board games, pool and fishing/swimming in the lake located at the rear of the property. We enjoyed watching the deer go across the path to the lake and playing kickball and volleyball in the yard. We made smores over the fire oit out back, home made ice cream, orange juice and lemonade there. The house is well equipped with everything you need for your stay minus some personal hygiene products. However our overall stay was amazing. We ventured to mineral springs state park, pickwick state park, and the near by stores. Brooke's grocery is an amazing store with homemade goodies and friendly people. We love Iuka and plan to visit again sometime.

Cute house, quiet neighborhood. Information sent stated to put trash in bags provided under sink. There were none. Had to go buy some. The internet information was different than what I was sent but we found it. I would suggest you update your information. Overall we had a relaxing week.

This cabin has everything you need and more. The pool table and darts were a huge hit with our group. Everything was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

The listing doesn’t do this little cabin in the woods justice. Quaint, clean, and a little walk down to Pickwick Lake. It’s perfect for a family weekend getaway! Honestly wish we had longer to enjoy this beautiful property! Loved the several different sitting areas, tons of entertainment like board games, pool, darts, and a fire pit. You don’t have to leave the house to get it all in!

My sister and I try to meet once a year to visit and catch up with our spouses. This property was a perfect location! We rented a pontoon boat a the local marina and spent the day on the lake and the next day visited Shiloh National Park. Richard called me the day of arrival to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The house was very, very clean and was equipped with everything we needed for a perfect getaway! The lake was a very short walk from the back yard and had a cute sand beach with an area to sit and enjoy the lake. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed to cook meals. We loved the different cookbooks to browse through! Also included a game room with a great dart board and pool table. We also enjoyed the selection of games available. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms provided plenty of towels. I highly recommend this property!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, clean, and relaxing. While we didn't cook during our stay, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large grill on the back porch. It is a short walk down a cleared wooded path to the river. We walked down and fished every night of our stay; catching several catfish and a drum. There are several stores and restaurants in the area that are easy to get to from this location. We loved sitting out on the back porch at night and saw a couple of armadillos one night. We look forward to returning, hopefully soon!

What a joy we had at this home. There's plenty to do to keep the family happy. The home was perfect and was really taken by the cleanliness as I'm OCD so I was relieved that I didn't have to start cleaning as soon as we got in the house....Thank you so much for a pleasant and stress free vacation and look forward to my next booking at this home in 3months.

nice place, clean, secluded and close to the lake

This was exactly what we needed...a great place to hide away for the week. Check in and out was simple and easy and everything we needed was already in place. Very comfortable and roomy and the shower off the game room is amazing. This home is stocked with games, DVDs, pool table, darts, perfect reading nooks and a trail leading to the lake. All you need is groceries and you're set to relax and unwind. Great communication via email and text. Highly recommend.

This was a great house for us. Everything you need in the kitchen is provided. Hosts were accessible as needed. It’s very cozy and comfy. The lake is a short trail walk away and is very peaceful. A very lovely home.

The Eagle’s Nest was a very comfortable place for our family vacation. It felt like home away from home. We made great memories there with our children and grandchildren. Thanks for making it so homey. We would stay there again.

We came to town to see our new grandson and had plenty of room for everyone. The layout is ideal for kids to play in one area and adults to relax in another. The house was very nice, the yard was huge and the back patio area was amazing.

We have an excellent weekend staying at this beautiful home Iuka. We have family nearby and we loved having a very clean and a comfortable home to prepare our food and rest in between visits. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very clean. Very well stocked in the kitchen, extra towels, supplies, and they had a great coffee station with several coffees and hot chocolate. We loved the cozyness but plenty of room for our group of 8. The beds are SO comfortable we overslept. The owners were very flexible and allowed us a late checkout. Great communication and support from the owner. We will be renting again — probably this summer! Love the close proximity to the Pickwick lake.
