Very nice place, clean and comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The owner had a binder with really good suggestions on restaurants and local places to visit which was very helpful. Thanks again!

Our family truly enjoyed the stay at the cottage! A short walk to the Dunes/beach, cute little fresh fruit stand just up the road and located centrally to short drives to towns near for fun restaurants (Redamaks, Red Arrow Roadhouse and others). The outside space is great for kids and throwing around the football!

We loved William's little beach bungalow. It was nice and cozy for our weekend family trip. Just a few feet from an entrance to Warren Dunes and with an ample backyard for outdoor activities. William had all the stuff for a beach day and bicycles for a ride down to Herbert. Nice and clean will definitely be back next year.

This cottage was perfect for three middle-aged gals who have been friends for 20+ years. Would be perfect for families too! Cottage had comfy vibe, lots of seating, both inside and outside. Close walk to Warren Dunes Park. OOutsOutsideshower

We had a large family gathering near the cottage where my wife and her siblings grew up. Each family stayed in different cottages and ours was this one. As advertised it is a vintage cottage as well cared for if quirky for the various updates through its history. We enjoyed our stay and our host, finding the kitchen and bedrooms quite adequate for our needs. Our children’s families join us for it cookout and we enjoyed the grill picnic facilities and would’ve done the fire ring. Had it been later. This is a wonderful modest cottage for those interested in being near Warren dunes State Park. The beach is about a half mile and easy walk and they have a couple of bikes in the basement.

My wife and I and our 4 daughters stayed for 4 nights and it was great! The location is awesome and it has pretty much everything you need to spend a day at the beach. We went to Cherry Beach almost every day, which is much less crowded than the state park. The house is well equipped. The only downside for us was having only one very small bathroom to share for the 6 of us. The outdoor shower was great to have though to wash sand off before going back into the house.

The house was perfect, and as described. William was great at communication, and set us up for a great beach weekend! Definitely recommend!

This cottage was the perfect size for our family of seven. The kitchen was perfect for meals and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the dvd selection and the kids loved the swing in the backyard. Loved how close we were to the beach!

Very sweet, comfy home. Had a great time relaxing. A deer checked us out on our last day while having coffee under gazebo. Loved the vintage look of home!

This is a very nice place to stay!! The house is Awesome and they stock Everything! We did walk to the beach in the morning with coffee to check it out....it is walkable, but would have driven if I was taking kids and supplies. We had asked for some suggestions as it was our first time in the area and Will was Spot On! We took all of his suggestions and they were All Amazing! This is a very Nice area and the People are Very Friendly!! We would like to return....
Thanks Will!!

The map in the house was out dated on how you were able to walk to the beach. We informed the property manager. The rest of the stay was wonderful

We absolutely loved our time at the cottage! We stayed here with two little kids, and they had a blast playing in the huge backyard, going to the beach, enjoying pizza and ice cream at the Beach Bucket, and exploring Harbor Country. The area is so charming, and the hosts had great recommendations for places to visit. Highly recommend!

This was our second year staying at the cottage. It was perfect for our needs. It is within walking distance to the beach, and was quiet and cozy. We enjoyed seeing the turkeys in the back yard.
Will was very quick to respond to any questions we had.
Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

This little cottage is so well equipped it could easily meet all the needs of a family. But my adult daughter and I enjoyed having it all to ourselves. It’s set in a quiet wooded little neighborhood with a huge yard. Our favorite place was the enclosed back porch where we enjoyed breakfast and coffee with all the windows open before heading out to the beach for the day. Then we relaxed out there with a book after dinner before retiring for the night. We wished we could stay longer, but will definitely be back!

We had a great experience staying in the cottage, as it was very well stocked, clean, and cozy. The owner is communicative and helpful. Hiking the sand dunes and swimming in Lake Michigan was the highlight!

We very much enjoyed this cottage. Plenty of room for our family of five. Well stocked with most everything we could want or need; games, bikes, grill supplies, beach necessities (with even a wagon to carry it all in!) Definitely recommend!

This cabin was perfect for our family. We could walk to the dunes and beach to play and later to enjoy sunsets too. (our kids were big enough to help carry items). Lots of small towns nearby to explore.

We absolutely loved staying in this cottage for our family vacation! We were able to hike through the dunes down to the beach, visit St. Joseph's for the day, ride bikes and walk downtown Sawyer. We loved the property itself, which had a tree swing, fire pit, bikes and outdoor shower. We would definitely come back again!

This is our second stay at this cottage. It's such a comfortable, peaceful retreat for our family of four. The location couldn't be better, allowing us to spend as much time in the state park as we wanted, whenever we wanted. But when we needed down time, we appreciate the outdoor space, the fire pit, the swing, the yard for the kids to run in. The lilacs and honeysuckle were in full bloom when we were here and they were gorgeous. Will is an extremely responsive and considerate host. He was immediately reachable when we had a minor issue checking in, and he also made sure we knew how to use the heaters when the evening was cold. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Communication with Will was timely and kind. The cottage is as described and we felt comfortable and “at home“. The beds are great and we enjoyed the sunny back porch and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit where the kindling had already been stacked for us. Hope to be back!

Very quaint and lovely cottage located on a quiet, dead-end street within walking distance to great Lake Michigan beach. Huge, wooded back yard with nice fire pit.
Very comfortable beds, excellent internet, and centrally located between New Buffalo and St. Joseph, providing numerous restaurant options. Made for a truly enjoyable experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The house had everything we needed and was clean. It's proximity to the dunes was ideal and the abundance of wildlife was easy to enjoy. We will definitely consider returning in the future and will recommend it to others.

We loved this vintage cottage, it was clean and had everything we needed. Things we appreciated: the grill, all the streaming channels, fans in every room, comfortable beds, picnic table with umbrella, outdoor shower. The location is fantastic, you can walk to Warren Dunes beach or drive to other beaches within 5-10 minutes. It's a very private lot with a gigantic backyard on a quiet private street. But it's also close to restaurants/shops.
Fawns skipped past and a Pileated Woodpecker flew by as I had lunch outside. We'll definitely be back.

Communication with the owner was very good. One small problem was taken care of in a very timely manner. The instructions as to where things were located in the cottage were very clear. The book with local sites/activities/restaurants/etc was very nice but since we have vacationed in this area for almost 40 years we did not need to refer to it. The almost nightly sightings of deer and turkeys were fun. The cottage was comfortable and conveniently located near other family members from MN, OH and other areas of MI who were vacationing in the area. I would definitely return for another stay.

Spectacular!
An absolutely fantastic visit from start to finish. Love this delightfully vintage cottage— I’d rent it for months at a time if I could. Not a single complaint. And despite the fact that I grew up in northern Indiana, I had forgotten that Lake Michigan is as gorgeous as the ocean, and a lot closer. 1,000% recommend
