Ants in the room and bathroom. No kettle, toaster, mugs, bed hard as floor. Near road noises disturb sleep.
5.0
The location and the staff and the room.
The bed was very hard like a rock.

The suite room that I booked, was simply not available. They said that we cannot get a suite for this price even we booked one. That means that I booked a higher room for a higher price for nothing.

The room was nice and clean (though it did not exactly match the listing photo from Booking). The hot running shower was there, the room was cleaned up really well (room cleaning was excellent), and thoughtful touches like providing good shower and toilet amenities on a daily basis in front of my doorstep. The internet was high-speed and 5G type, great for digital nomads who want some peace and quiet from the crazy downtown Central Bangkok. There is a Seven Eleven 2 mins walking distance, a nice small steak house opposite Seven Eleven owned by a lovely Thai couple (make sure to try out the Rib Eye steak with fries for 330 THB - worth the money). There is also a Steak House Restobar adjacent to that Seven-Eleven which you can try out, as well. The flush worked fine and a nice balcony with a great view. The cleaning staffs and the receptionist ladies are all from Myanmar. There is a coffee joint and eatery place at the entrance of the hotel (maybe you can try that out). Lotus shopping center is within walking distance like 3 mins. Fresh 2 bottles of water were provided to me daily during my 4-night stay :) The room is equipped with 2 study desks and is great for a laptop workspace for digital nomads like me. The bed was big but hard at the surface, which was no issue for me since I have slept before in military-style beds. Basically, I wanted to test out this place, after reading a few of the detailed reviews.
The aircon was defective (the swing mode) and was not functioning correctly. I know this because I have worked with HVAC company for over a year. The filtration of the aircon was bad. It really needs proper servicing and maintenance. The TV was point blank not working at all. So, I had to manage it out with my Netflix in my laptop. What really emotionally drained me out was the coldness and lazy attitude of the reception staff lady. She was all roses and nice when I checked in on my first night, but then things turned for the sour. I was kinda treated poorly maybe because of my Nationality. You are not supposed to avoid a guest and you should always keep a professionalism going on. Guests should not be neglected in your hotel, if you have any concern then straight a way talk with the guest and sort it out. And, remember the customer is always right. The lady was casual with the fact that the TV was not working in my hotel room and also she educated me that the staff is busy and can't do any laundry service for me. Seriously, stop discriminating against guests and turn up your professionalism. Always keep that smile going on! There are no malls close by and no nearby BTS. It's a distance to catch if you take Grab or Bolt. Not a very accessible area and I found the location to be a bit insecure. So, be careful there and also your belongings when walking around! Rest all fine!

The place was clean, the staff was friendly, polite and helpful, the hotel was easy to find, ordering a taxi right in front of the hotel was easy as pie, the rooms were very clean, once per day they give you two bottles, a very small soap and a very small head shampoo plus a toilet roll (they hang them in a small plastic bag on the door every morning). The entrance to the hotel is made by key card (you need a key card even when you get out of the hotel. They have a lift that goes up to level 4. the lift carries you between floors, so once you get to the desired floor you need to walk down or up a very few stairs. There are a total of 5 floors. The laundary is free of charge (they can wash your clothes, but it's risky, maybe the settings of the washing machine doesnt suit your clothes, so please inform yourself about how they process your clothes before sending them. I also love that Lotus's, SevenEleven, Skip Bar and other such shops are very close to the hotel!
The staff does not speak English, the poor staff has to call the manager everytime I had to tell them something. There is no refund if you check-in online. The hotel is far from the centre of Bangkok, but it's not really a problem, because I had to stay at the location of the hotel for meeting someone. The price is not great, but not bad either. The price fits what you get for it, so it's fair. The monitors (TV) in the hotel are different for each room. The air conditioner smells bad and the filters need replacement. The toilets can get clogged easly and muskitoes can get inside your room even if you close everything, because there is a window always half-open in the bathroom and the doors to the bathroom are made of wooden stripes with gaps between them - so the bugs from outside the window of the bathroom can get inside your room easly. I hate muskitoes so much... so DEFINITLEY bring a muskito repeller or some tape for the door 😂😂😂.
ALSO the beds are too hard for my liking! they use those rectangular, leather wrapped gym pillows for the bed underside that you sleep on and it's covered by laundary. Please for God's sake, change your beds! I always felt like I was sleeping on a Boxing Bag... because I was! 😂😭
P.S. When walking outside, please be aware of snakes, lizards, muskitoes of course, sun burns and very narrow or non-existant path-ways you walk across. Most of the walking space is ROAD for CARS and MOTORCYCLES (plus some alcoholics too).

Nice clean room and comfortable bed.
Air conditioning didn't work. Was like sleeping in a sauna. Towel holder kept dropping off the wall. Shower wasn't fixed so had to shower with one hand. Came back at night to find the small parking area gated off meaning I had to park on the road. TV massive burn mark in the middle of the screen but with only 4 thai channels it didn't really matter.

A room is clean.
There is noise during night-time from the opposite restaurant.
