Ants Invasion

Not much, didn't stay left to another accommodation.

The neighborhood, upon arrival their was a bad smell due to a stable near by, the room itself wasn't pleasant they had ants LOTS! Called the host, and she was very nice they tried spraying, but they kept coming, so I left.

Excellent value for money for a clean and comfy overnight stay!

We needed a place to stay that was close to the airport (only 5 minute drive away) as we were travelling home early the next morning. It was exactly what we needed. Although we didn't meet the owners, the online communication was excellent. We didn't have breakfast (have heard great reviews!) as we left too early. The size of the rooms were fantastic, very clean and you could park directly outside which was brilliant! Only 10 mins from Marsaxlokk fishing village which is incredibly pretty and excellent for dinner.

Super minor points - we were missing one towel set as there were 3 of us in a room and only 2 sets of towels (we arrived quite late so didn't call Rosa the housekeeper). Would have been nice to have had a bottle of water each on the bedside table.

Highly recommend this place

Exactly like on picture beautiful and very comfortable place. Close to everything by foot, bus or taxi. Easy to find with nice terrace that you can drink your morning coffee. Easy communication with the owner that give full explanation of where to go and what to use, very pleasant and welcoming. Really happy if I ever came back I would gladly choose this place again. Nothing to complain only enjoy after comfortable night sleep.

The hotel was very nice and clean, it's very near the airport so you don't have a problem to miss your flight, you have everything you need like towels and hairdryer, the owner was super nice and receptive, definitely recommended if you want to stay in Malta

A little gem, perfect for an overnight stay if going Malta’s airport early

Great space, bigger than expected. Location excellent, as we booked it so we could get to the airport for an early flight. As it turned out our bus wasn’t running in the day, so we walked to the airport - 25 mins.

Disappointing

Locality

Listed that there was a kettle and other utilities but we found nothing . No mini fridge , no tv Yard was really filthy and under maintance

Very cozy place near the airport

Beautiful bedroom, with a second area that had a kitchenette and the bathroom, and a huge glass wall that saw into a patio. The kitchenette had almost everything, except a corkscrew, if one wanted to open a bottle of wine.

The room didn't have a fridge, which was very disappointing. Not even a small one to keep water or soda cool.

Clean, characterful, pleasant surprise!

Perfect for a night before early trip to the airport. Could have happily stayed longer. Good kitchen facilities, nice little balcony area. Good seating area where we played cards after kids went to sleep.

Despite the many signs, some latecomers used the kitchen late at night and the noise kept me awake.

good but owners want to cheat us with city tax

about 25 min walking from airport, near Lidl (about20min) and smaller shops closer. Quiet and calm surrounding. Valetta is about 25 min with 88 route. You can use 2 bathrooms.

Too soft beds, not enough toilet paper when there is a lot of travelers. The same problem is with warm water in the evening. And please remember city tax is 50 cent per night (adult), but not more then 5 euro. And It should be at separae invoice.

Good place for one night

Close to airport, super silent and confortable and also the breakfast touch is remarkable.

The toilet and bathroom not at the best cleaning since they are shared. The room's furniture is pretty old, and looks unclean as well (but certainly is clean).

I would avoid staying there again.

The location was Okay if you want to stay near to the airport, but you need a taxi as not within a reasonable walking distance around 6 euros.

The issue with this property is transparency. I was surprised to be prevented from using the kitchen at certain times when they knew I was arriving late and leaving early. There are no facilities in the area nearby either or they shut early. Hot water stopped while I was in the middle of showering. I tried to contact the property in private to get compensation but their attitude was not helpful. Not even an apology.

You will get what you pay for.

Too cold and hot water was limited. Eco Tax was 2 Euros per night/person, which didn't get informed before. The water condition of an aquarium outside for few gold fishes was horrific. I would say it was an animal abuse, because the water was literally dark green and the fishes barely swim or were active. Total nightmare and traumatised.

There was no light bulb at all -by the bed. And the light on switch in the room was remote.

Very good

Very cosy accommodation which was clean and comfortable. Just what we needed after a late night flight. Some lovely breakfast treats laid out for us in the morning. Great communication from the host providing taxi apps and directions.
