About this cabin rental
Eagle’s Landing is a large 5 bedroom cabin with a spot for the entire family. Sleeping up to 14 people on 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 2 bunk sets and a pullout sleeper, this cabin makes family reunions easy. And with that many people, random moments of fun are bound to happen, and Eagle’s Landing is ready! Start with the open game room and living room where you can enjoy a shoot around of pool while everyone watches a movie or the big game. With large groups, outdoor areas are the key – Eagle’s Landing provides a huge covered deck for everything from early morning chats to late night laughter. Just around the corner, under its own covered deck area is a huge hot tub ready for some relaxing. Off the deck is a great little fire pit where the kids – and kids at heart – can gather for ghost stories while roasting hot dogs and making s’mores.
Located in the heart of Hochatown – Eagle’s Landing is just minutes from the region’s top fly fishing stream, Beaver’s Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. If you aren’t in the mood to fix dinner in the ready to cook kitchen or on the grill, then you just need to go a couple of miles to find several restaurants, many with live music.
The cabin has an easy access parking area, but may not be large enough for some trailers. If you do not feel comfortable parking a trailer here, you are welcome to leave it at our office on a first come, first serve basis – space is limited.

It was a beautiful cabin with plenty of room for our family!
6.0 / 10.0
The reason for my lower rating is due to mainly the cleanliness of the property and the parking area. Parking even cars in the driveway was difficult due to loose gravel and washed out culverts. We made it work but it was a stressful task. As for the cleanliness, a cleaning fee is included in booking so when we arrive it should be clean. The floor was filthy. Our feet were black within 30 minutes of walking on floors. There were spider webs hanging from the light fixture in master bath and a hug web in corner by mirror. It appeared to never be dusted. Baseboards were dirty. There is mold around kitchen windows. There is a musky smell under the cabinets.
There were a couple other things that others may want to know about prior to booking. 1: the grill is old and damaged. 2: the microwave has rust and is old 3: the wifi wouldn’t connect to gaming consoles for kids 4: the master showers knob is broken and just falls off 5: the parking is on a steep incline. 6: there are no seasonings or condiments available 7: the washer is loud and outdated 8: the kitchen table needs some conditioning, everything sticks to it. 8: no cleaning supplies for wiping down counters / stove/ etc.
The location to lake is great. The scenery is beautiful. But the rental needs some upgrades

The stay was not what we expected. The cabin was not clean. The main guest room the closet was locked for the owners use so I had to hang my clothes in my family closet way Down the hall. My bed was broken they had a folding table under the mattress for the deep dip in the bed. Broken slat on the bed. Mold on the bathroom wall, handle broken off the shower. Under sink in kitchen smelled of wet sticky mold. Cracks in the back door. Just walking up to the cabin the porch had bird nests over the front door. This was just not inviting. The outside was not cleaned either. The bbq grill all rotted out. This Cabins owner needs to clean up before renting this made over mobile home made into a cabin out!! And the host stop responding after you have a complaint

House was clean, close to the state park, easy in and out access.

There was a lot of miscommunication about the pet deposit which inconvenienced a couple of people that had planned to bring their fur babies . In the communication between me and the property manager, part of the pet policy regarding pet deposit was left off. The group that I came with are all from Houston and play tournament pool so it was important to have a pool table. But the table was positioned so you could not really shoot accurately from the each end .
When we got there, lights outside near the hot tub and the coffee maker didn’t work but the property manager did make sure that the next day we had a working coffee maker and sent someone to fix the lights
The bathrooms do need updating . The water pressure in the king bedroom was poor and we had to fix the faucet head because it came off and the faucet in the other bathroom was shaky and it was stuck on shower so you couldn’t switch it completely so water came out from the faucet as well making water pressure not so good.
Overall the cabin was a cute cabin so if you want to rough it a little , this one is the cabin for you.

We were here for the weekend and absolutely loved it!
6.0 / 10.0
The cabin is in a good location, so that was a plus. The steps leading up to the front porch seams to be missing the first step. It makes for a leap trying to get on the porch and ultimately into the house. I can see this being very difficult for families with elderly people. And it’s definitely a safety hazard. The inside of the cabin wasn’t very clean on our arrival. Dust bunny’s everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked, but the knifes suck, so I would suggest bringing your own. Spare bathroom had mold all over it. It needs to be completely replaced. Some of the mattresses are old and sunken in-needs to be replaced.

We came here for an adult getaway. It was nice and peaceful! We truly enjoyed our stay! It was also nice to not be past hochatown so we didn’t get caught in all the traffic going to and from the cabin.

Like the building very much but the location leaves something to be desired. The road in is poor and gets worse after the pavement stops. There are loose dogs running around. The listing as 14 is questionable as the upper bunks cannot be accessed safely. Both back bedrooms had sheets with hair on them and were missing smoke detectors. Our group of 7 adults and one teen made do but I cannot recommend this property.

Property was listed with 2 full bathrooms but only the master bathroom was usable. The 2nd bathroom is a disaster. Mold on the tub walls. The tub faucet assembly is hanging by a thread and cannot be used. Water has been going behind the wall for quite sometime. This has been reported several times according to other reviews. Appears it won’t be addressed until it blows off the wall. All twelve guests had to use the main bathroom which was a bit inconvenient. Hot tub water was very cloudy and had a bad odor. What little grass is very high and should have been mowed. Overall cabin/trailer house was neat and orderly. Beds were comfortable, ac worked and area was close to all attractions. For an older cabin it is nicely finished inside. Outside needs attention to make it more desirable. Overall being united with my children and grandchildren we had a great time.

We had a group of 8 for a paddleboarding trip on Broken Bow Lake. The cabin was large enough to accomodate all of us in terms of rooms and dining table. The location of the cabin is so close to Beaver's Bend State Park and Hochatown that we didn't have to travel far to get to anything. We had a great time.

The cabin is nice and cozy, gives you a good rustic feel. My favorite part is the kitchen being fully stocked with cooking supplies and the master bath.
Other than that it was ok if you are looking for something super simple. The hot-tub smelled really bad, and there is no front yard. The parking is gravel and very slopped so it was a challenge going in and out. The firepit was nice but also very unleveled. We hanged out mostly on the porch which is wide but we wish they have some type of ventilation like a ceiling fan. Some of the wood are falling apart. The faucet on the 2nd bath is wiggling and dripping.
As far as the host, they were responsive. We had a major storm during our stay and lost power. He answer the call promptly. They also let us check in early without any additional fees.
Overall, it is what we expected when we booked online. Only wish is a better leveled parking. We would book it again if looking for something simple and budget friend.

Loved the cabin. We were worried of using the second bathtub because the faucet seemed loose from the wall and the tub seemed weak. We couldnt find ash trays for outside but the book said their was suppose to be some. I wanna say the seal in the icebox is going out. The cabin was beautiful l, super comfortable to stay in. Would totally stay at Eagles Landing again❤️❤️❤️

Place was not cleaned. When we arrived the TV was still on from the last guest, the dining table was still sticky. The bathroom in the hallway constantly had a running toilet. The shower was so mushy when you stepped it, it felt like it could break any moment . After one day the hottub and visual scum and smelled terrible

We had a great time… It was a good cabin for the price. The mishaps were minor. The experience was great…. Could use a little touching up…. The fridge was leaking water….. And the shared tub could use a little work… but overall we had a great time…..

The cabin was very suitable for the Tim family members that we had in our group, and we always have a great time in broken Bow, the only thing I would say is that the Jacuzzi did not work properly and the mattress on all the beds especially the master bedroom was absolutely terrible and some of the kitchen appliances like can openers did not work so we had to go purchase one but overall we enjoyed our stay
6.0 / 10.0
It was plenty big enough, and clean. It could use a good pressure washing on the porch’s ( because that’s where we stayed most the time.) one shower needs to be totally replaced, we all just used the master shower. A toilet seat needs replacing, and we never got the WIFI to work, so no TVs. Honestly we never called about it, just unbraced the silence. The hot tub was nice too! Plenty of beds, and pool table.

We stayed in this property for Labor Day weekend. The place is very roomy and is in great location. The outside porch is absolutely fantastic and functional. I would love to give this place 5 but due to cons bellow cannot. I believe if the management will take time to address bellow issues, this place will be 5 stars.
Cons:
1. The property was advertised as "sleeps 12". However, when we got to the property, the pullout sleeper was broken. The head part (springs) of the bed was broken and luckily we did not need to sleep on it, but if we did, we would be 1 bed short. Also, the mattress is very dirty and there is a lot of dust under the couch.
2. The hallway bathroom has a new vanity and sink but the tub is horrible. The faucet is pulled out from the wall and i am not surprised if there is mold behind it. The shower head sprays at the same time as the water is coming out of the faucet.
3. The place needs a deep cleaning as there is a lot of dust everywhere. When we got to the property, there were dust bunnies everywhere.
4. Some dishes were dirty and 1 pot had a dead critter in it.

Overall a good stay
There were several issues when we got there . There was a bulb that was out , some damages to furniture, at the bottom of the fridge there was water when we got there . After resolving the fridge and bulb issues we had a good pleasant stay no one bother us and had a great time .

Rundown and Overpriced
Several things were broken in the home. Stains on upstairs carpet. Leaking skylight. Mold along MB shower door. Old and poor cooking pans. Wrap around deck and outdoor furniture were filthy. The game room was in a garage with no fans or central air, tons of dirt, and spiders. All toilets constantly ran. Many light fixtures had non-working bulbs. The towels were old, scratchy, and musty. Living room blinds were broken and hanging in a slant. Several wall art was broken—missing lampshade on the ceiling fan in the master bedroom. The washer machine was missing the bleach tray on top.

😳
The cabin was ok. There was a problem with the fridge, the door didn’t stay closed all the way and there seemed to be a little roach problem.

Great Family Getaway
We had a wonderful time! The cabin was perfect for us to gather with our 2 kids, spouses and 5 grandchildren (11 in all). The rooms were beautifully appointed. 2 Rooms had bunk beds. The double bed bunk bed is genius! Great outdoor deck. Plenty of towels and having access to the washer/dryer was helpful with the kids. Hot Tub jets needed to be more powerful.
The only down side was the lot itself and several unsafe problems:1). You need to upgrade the driveway entrance and eliminate the huge gully you must drive through to get to the parking. If you have a tall SUV or 4 wheel truck, you’re fine. But for a sedan- it bottoms out even going slow. Safety hazards- 2) entrance stairs -ground below first step has swept away and needs to be built up or step stone added. Too steep 3) The dead stump right by the entrance stairs needs to be ground down. Too close to step, uneven with sharp edges. We were worried about the kids. I tripped and twisted my ankle. I’m fine now, could’ve been much worse.
We’d love to return but the safety issues need to be addressed.

Good experience for first time cabin in the out woods
All the process it all right, place is good really quiet and nice to have a good time to relax
But I did was a little disappointed with some of the items in the cabin
All the cabin was swept but no the under the beds I even find a death cockroach in the bed and some socks under the beds
The closet in the master room was locked so I couldn’t store my clothes.

Unhappy Customers
Pictures of cabin was very nice but once we arrived and went in it was totally disappointing and misleading. The bathrooms needed to be updated, the smell was not nice, the kitchen need to be updated . The outside porch could use a facelift as well. However the stay was okay but would not recommend it to anyone. The back door we couldn’t really lock .It looks like a double wide trailer that they tried to fix it up to be a cabin. The cedar on the inside was very nice. The sleeper sofa was supposed to let out into a bed but was broken. The mattress on the other beds were sinking in the middle, one bed had a plank under it , the outlet covers were falling off and some didn’t have covers on them.Very disappointed from the way the pictures looks and walks in seen the inside.
With all the money ppl pay it could be more updated with furniture and etc.Pool table was taped with pink tape.😢😢

Such a great cabin! We all enjoyed the stay. The house was spacious and truly captured the camping experience we wanted. Really close to the lake and shops in broken bowl yet nuzzled in the woods!

Beautiful Location - Sketchy Experience
Overall impressed by the property and location. Great space for large groups.
Downfalls: Bathtubs need a serious overhaul... moldy, walls fill will water, a very uncomfortable experience.
Communications: We let the management know there was a leak under the kitchen sink which left the roll of paper towel they left us soaking and un-unusable. No response.
Then a 6-year-old with our group found an unmarked bottle of (what google said) was extasy with internal. I called management to tell them about the alarming discovery and they said "we cleaned it so I don't know what to tell you". They were not at all alarmed or even apologetic about the situation.

Had a great time! Loved the view!!
Overall great stay! We were unaware of all the renovations that needed to be made and item that were previously damaged and broken. There were also small utility errors but none of this ruined our trip. It was truly beautiful and would love to go back once all renovations are completed!

Nice except hot tub and bathrooms.
Nice neighborhood. Nice cabin feel on the inside (read: knotty pine furniture and knotty pine on walls/ceiling). Most of the jets in the hot tub did not work. The tub and vanity in the bathrooms need replaced. They make the bathrooms feel dirty.
