Mabel and Harry's guest house is situated in the pristine rural beauty of the Indiana countryside. This historic colonial farmhouse has been renovated into a luxury retreat. A mix of the old and the new: original architectural features and ultra HD TVs; an induction cooktop and a speckled enamelware kettle; antique nightstands and highest quality bamboo sheets and bedding. The house was designed with the intention that our guests will experience the quiet elegance of this country getaway.

Oh my! The house was perfect: so homey, inviting, and relaxing. So many comfy and tastefully decorated places to gather in with our friends. The kitchen was SO well stocked with cooking needs, and the yard was spacious and great for playing bocce ball. Janny was detailed with check-in instructions and super responsive when we had questions. The snacks and drinks that were there for us were a special touch. Such a sweet, hospitable experience! Everyone in our group said they would totally come back again. Thank you!!

We found Mabel and Harry’s guesthouse on vrbo, we were thrilled with the home. The farmhouse is beautiful, plenty of space for our family of 10 to spread out, beds super comfortable and Janny’s attention to detail is amazing! The sunsets each night off the back deck were beautiful we will definitely be back!

This place is wonderful, we completely enjoyed our short time here and wish we could have stay longer. Everything about this place is exceptional. Clean and full of amenities Plenty of room and glorious sunset! we took advantage of the gas fire pit on the deck and talked the night away. We're already planning another trip where we can stay a few nights.

We grew up in the corn and bean fields of Indiana. We are now in our sixties, seventies and eighties! We are scattered now and don't get to spend much time together. Our getaway was perfect. The house is gorgeous and so comfortingly homey .Each bedroom has its own bath. Absolutely everything you need is provided. In addition Janny s little gifts make you feel so welcomed! We loved our stay at the guesthouse! Everything was beautifully prepared and the hosts thought of everything we might need...including coffee, creamers, and a delicious cake. What a treat! We used this as a place to have a small work retreat and found it to be a lovely experience. If I am ever looking for a stay in the Kokomo area, I will be back. Thank you so much!

stayed at mabel and harrys with my mom, aunt, daughter cousins, sisters and niece and granddaughter. Everyone loved the house! We had a little trouble after a storm and the host was over first thing in the morning to see if we needed anything. Seems like she thought of everthing and more. We are talking about another trip:)

My husband and I stayed at Mabel and Harry’s for a long weekend while celebrating our son’s wedding. This place is AMAZING! Absolutely beautiful home and my family enjoyed every minute. We loved all the space and my kids loved the outdoor seating. The kitchen has everything and the host surprised us with treats from the area. This place does not disappoint! It’s an absolutely gorgeous home!!

We had a beautiful stay. Everything about the guest house is thought out, from lighting to ambiance. It is a space created for relaxing and catching up with family or friends. We were in town for our nephews wedding and the owners left us items for a delicious breakfast and a sweet treat from a local bakery. It feels like home and is beautiful inside and out! This was the most relaxing atmosphere in the home and outside of the home. It was clean and comfortable. I will most definitely rent this again in the future. The host is absolutely wonderful with all her extra touches, like for instance a decorated cake waiting for us in the refrigerator!

The four of us have been to Kokomo numerous times years past and stayed in numerous hotels which were not very gratifying. We decided to try this property and after arriving, we couldn’t be happier. The property is much nicer than advertised. Quiet, country living at its best. We will be back.

Can’t say enough good things about Harry and Mabel’s! Immaculate and oh so comfortable for a large family. Spent two nights while attending a family wedding in the area. It was so nice that we all had our own spaces and bathrooms. The furnishings were luxurious and the country setting was quiet and beautiful. We also really appreciated the special touches such as a lovely cake, farm fresh eggs, coffee and cream. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a beautiful guest house in a peaceful location surrounded by farmland. The decor is delightful; the property is immaculately presented and impeccably clean. The host is highly responsive and helpful to questions, and incredibly thoughtful in their approach to making this property outstanding. This home is super cute and well appointed. Great for families or couples. Beautifully appointed. Large showers and ample washing and drying facilities. Comfortable beds. Plenty of serveware and cookware provided. Lots of yard to play in. Very nice deck with grill and fire pit. Space to park 3 to 4 cars. Electrical on the exterior to plug in RV and/or electric vehicle. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone we know, but we are from California and probably will never make it out this way again.

The entire experience was excellent. From the first drive up to the front door to the comfortable interior we could not ask for more. My daughters were so excited to be in town for a wedding and were so happy we were staying in a home that truly felt like home. Clean, well decorated and the small gifts left for us were an excellent touch!

The place is stunning, a truly updated farmhouse. You are surrounded by farmland and seeing it being harvested was very calming. The place takes you back to a simpler time but with modern amenities. You are just outside Kokomo made it easy to get around town using SR 931 or US 31.

My siblings and I traveled with our mom so she could visit her brothers in Kokomo. Janny’s place was the perfect location with ALL the amenities. The pictures just don’t do it justice. She has thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. We felt very special with the sweet treat that was left behind from the local bakery. Her check in instructions were thorough and easy. We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back! I highly recommend staying here if your traveling to the area. This by far has been the best VRBO I have ever stayed in when traveling!

We had a fabulous stay here . I cant say enough how nice, comfortable, cozy yet high end with attention to every detail. Janny was so gracious and has really went above and beyond what any other VRBO i have stayed at with what food items she has stocked , to even a milk frother for our coffee that was divine ! All the furnishings are not only beautiful, but comfortable . I could go on and on about how nice the stay was . We had a family girls weekend from ages 30-77 and couldnt have picked a better place to make our memories. Lots of crafting , eating , shopping and laughing . What a treat for us that we found this place. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here , you will be happy you did !!
