Overall, everything was very impressive. A couple minor issues that didn't affect the overall enjoyment of the stay. I would recommend this to everyone and if we get the opportunity to do it again, we will. Also, I would like to mention there was a ton of things to do in the surrounding areas. Fantastic!!!

It was just so peaceful and laid back. The view was amazing.

This place is perfect for a big family or a family get together. We enjoyed the stay very much planning on returning soon.

We loved how big the cabin was, perfect for our ever growing family of 11! But we were disappointed in the safety of the balconies, lower level had portions of the balcony completely missing- they were on the ground, now they did come and put up a barrier the next afternoon, but considering we had young kids I was concerned with safety, we also had multiple large water leaks when it rained. It was alarming the amount coming in from the doors leading to balconies and the master bedrooms on both floors, and even in the bathroom. Some
Of the doors leading out had signs of previous damage due to water, so the doors/windows didn’t totally close. It’s a great property but seems like it could use some TLC and general maintenance.

The cabin was perfect for all of us. No complaints!

We absolutely loved this home, but it gets a 4 star because their railings on the 3rd floor were extremely shaky!

We had a get together with 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Great location and view. House could have been little cleaner, mostly floors. Could use more items in the kitchen like serving utensils and larger bowls, etc but otherwise ok. Just needs little more tlc. We did enjoy the spaciousness and the view was amazing. We had a couple of bears figure out how to get in our trash dumpster over night and we had to clean that up on the morning of our departure. We had an issue with the tv but the property manager quickly helped resolve that problem.

This property should not be occupied. It has been neglected and is in need of significant maintenance. During our stay, there were many issues ranging from minor to significant.
Upon arrival, we noticed trash, dirty towels, and dirty dishes left behind from the previous guests. Parts of the balcony have rotted causing safety hazards due to unstable railings. There are leaks in nearly all of the rooms during rain storms due to gutters and downspouts that are completely clogged. In some areas, downspouts are just missing so water is not directed away from the house. As a result of this, wood along the outside of the house as well as ceilings and floors inside the house are rotting. The leaks caused 1 of the mattresses on the lower level to become soaked and unusable. There is almost certainly mold in these areas of the house. The clothes dryer appears to be vented directly into the dead space below the subfloor rather than to the outside which poses a fire hazard. The outdoor dumpsters are broken and allowed bears to get into the trash and make a huge mess. Cobwebs were everywhere on the balconies as well as in several places inside the home. There was no chlorine in the hot tub.
As we began noticing these issues, we communicated them to the property manager. She was very apologetic and did a good job of staying in touch with us. Unfortunately, this house has been neglected for too long and just needs so much work that it should not be listed for rent until all is fixed.

Had a very bad water leak we were unable to use 1 of the rooms because mattress was soaked leak fixed the next day called the company 4 times someone was supposed to call me back no one ever called they wanted to move us at 2 in the am into 4 different cabins very bad communication I understand stuff happens and we were will to work with them but they did not care it’s a lot more to the store but this is the short version

The floors in all areas of the house were disgusting, the jets in the jacuzzi tubs were molded. The hot tub water smelt so bad that it took multiple showers to remove after only sitting in for a few minutes. There’s huge burn marks in the main floor, floor and glass cups used for cigarettes on the deck. The hot tub was missing panels and insides were chewed from an animal. The water pressure was not there at all and most of the shower tubs did not drain. The main vent intakes were CAKED with dust that obviously had no attention in months and many services were sticky to the touch upon arrival. This place was no where near worth the money paid for it and the pictures were outdated.

This 3 level cabin is in desperate need of repair. The only reason I give it an extra star is because of the view. Upon arriving, one of the whirlpool tubs wasn't clean and had a dead cricket in it. The other second level bathroom had a dying roach on the floor. The view would have been nicer if there weren't streaks from poorly cleaned windows and spider webs everywhere on the back deck. Every day at 2pm, stink bugs would find their way to the inside of the windows in the living area (guess they enjoyed the sun?) Most of the wooden deck furniture is rotten and the bottom level had a broken rail. The hot tub could not have been cleaned in awhile since somehow the cover to it was full of water, making it next to impossible to take off. Once I got it off, I had to let it sit and drain the extra 100 lbs of water before I could lift it to put it back on. The smell of the water in the hot tub was PUTRID, not to mention the jets didn't work, the control panel was loose and you could see where the wood under the hot tub was rotted. Surprised we didn't fall through! The inside furniture is worn and in need of replacement. I sat in one of the dining chairs and the arm broke off! The TV remote select button didn't work so I had to find a way to search for a channel, then key it in manually. The kitchen faucet was loose and leaking. Now for the good - the location and view were great, and we had a roof over our heads, that's about it.... Vacasa should be embarrassed to even have this property in their listing.

The Diamond in the Sky cabin was great for our family. It was big enough for everyone to have their own space. We loved having 8 rooms so all the adults had their own space and privacy. Some of the children even got their own. The bunk beds and futon upstairs gave our teen children a place to gather and a comfortable place to sleep. No one had to sleep on the couch.
The living room on the main floor was a bit small for such a big cabin. We had 16 guests, and the cabin described having room for 22. The living room would have been very cramped for 22.

Last week we Stayed at the facility “Starr Crest Resort: A diamond in the sky” booked via Vacasa - with parents and kids. The experience was really bad where 1. the Air Conditioning never worked on the top floor, unfortunately kids/parents who stayed in the floor ended up sleepless and fall sick. 2. Water facility to the bathroom and kitchen stopped 3 times in the morning/evening for two days while people were taking showers/ cooking which delayed both our day’s schedules. 3. Tick Infestation: One of the family member and his little one got tick bites from the bedroom. 4. Shower in one of the bathrooms were malfunctioning and the force of the water caused skin irritation for the kids who used the room and eventually had to stoop using that shower head. 5. The facility had nails all over and was uncomfortable to walk around until the handyman showed up to hammer them off.
No call were answered. All communication were responded only via texts, mostly as default robo responses. Handyman showed up twice but was less helpful in case of Air conditioner/ Water supply. Overall it was one of the worst vacation experiences we had.
Hope these comments would be helpful for someone who is thinking of renting this facility in future.

Overall the cabin was great. There could’ve been more garbage for convenience and to keep the place clear. Also, some of the linen was dirty and the toilets smelled awful.

Had a little issue and they wanted to come out Thanksgiving day to fix the issue.

Actually i didn’t love anything, all TVs did not work, pool table is broken, hot tub did not work, they come out an fixed it an it didn’t work again, door randomly changed codes on us, you can hear conversations from people upstairs because it is not insulated at all. Balcony falling apart. Wish we would’ve been able to stay at our first place we had actually booked because it was amazing, we definitely will stay there again. Wish the water well wouldn’t have broken.

We loved the rainforest effect of this cabin. Each time someone would shower on the 3rd floor bathroom, the water would leak to the 2nd floor. When a heavy rain blew through it forced open the door on the third floor and soaked the room and it leaked down to the second floor and flooded my husbands suitcase.

Nice home
Very nice home. The hot tub was not clean but Vacasa said they would take care of that. One of the mattresses was bad and the bedding torn to pieces. They told us they would take care of that as well. Overall it was super nice and clean

TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY
This property was a complete disasters. We found gum stuck in the sheets on the bed, pubic hairs in multiple different beds, water a pouring into 3 of the bedrooms as well as the main living room area from the rain so we had to get buckets to try & minimize the leakage which was ALOT!! There wasn’t nearly enough garbage space so we had to leave the garbage in the kitchen bc no one came for trash pickup the entire time we were there. The wood on the deck was rotting? The bench on the porch was completely rotted & when my niece sat down it broke through & she hurt herself. & the deck railings we so lose that If u leaned on them too hard they would break. Very dangerous & NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Large and Spacious with great views
The place is pretty nice- big, spacious, nice views. It is also close to Dollywood, the national park, and attractions in the area.
Unfortunately the rain and snow leaked/dripped into some rooms, bathrooms, and patio during our stay. This was a nuisance and also a safety concern.

Beautiful location but worn out cabin
This cabin is on a beautiful hill top with amazing views but the cabin itself is in poor condition. The deck had nails popping out of the floor, the carpet is very worn, and the sheets and bedding were old and thin.

It felt very roomy and decadent. Highly recommend.

Needs work
Our stay was somewhat disappointing. Pictures can be a little deceiving. We had an shower issue, worn and torn dated furniture, pool table, remote problems, DVD player not working, mice, and a broom with no dust pan. Great cabin, poorly maintained interior and exterior for the amount of money to reserved this cabin. Great views and nice beds. Fix it up ASAP!!!

Father’s Day trip!
This was a last minute Father’s Day trip and my husband was wowed by the size of this cabin, along with another family member husband. I will definitely be back for a couples trip soon.

Beautiful property
The property is beautiful and the view is to die for! The location is great. We had 8 couples and 8 bedrooms so we were all comfortable..We had some issues with the fridge and tvs but they sent maintenance right out. The kitchen is small for that big of a place, water pressure very low, and wished we had more trash can space but we enjoyed our stay.
