This Beach Home is a .3 mile (that's one-third of a mile) short walk or bike from the popular white sands of Nokomis Beach and near Pelican Alley, Pops Waterside Grill, and Casey Key. For more exploring, you're just a few minutes from Venice Island, Venice Beach, Blackburn Point, Spanish Point and Oscar Scherer State Park. You won't be bored unless you want to be!

This vacation oasis is large and private. Everyone can have their own space if they wish, or get together in the large open living area. Coastal vibes inside and out!

Enjoy walks on the beautiful white sand beaches of Casey Key while looking for shells and shark teeth. Boating, jet skis, kayaking and fishing are available at the nearby marina. Golf, tennis, local restaurants, and shopping are only minutes away and just a short drive north is Sarasota, Florida where you can find music, theater, galleries, and more shopping.

The house was comfortable and well equipped. The location was our reason for choosing as it’s close to our family members and walking distance to Nokomis beach and nice eating etc. The landlords were very helpful when called upon. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. Thank you.

After a long search, we found this beautiful property. I was intrigued by the back porch, but the house and location was SO much more! The home was spacious, impeccably clean, stocked with more than we needed, and extremely comfortable! We walked to the beach every day, explored the area, and fell in love with Nokomis Beach! We hope we can return and will definitely refer this location to our family and friends. Thank You!

First of all, we love the proximity to the beach. We also love how much room this house has to spread out, inside and out. The property manager is great to work with. The master’s king mattress has been replaced with a very comfortable mattress. My husband, my mother, and my two kids (9,11) had a fantastic stay for the second year. We are going back next year!

Location was perfect. So close to beach and 2 tiki bars/restaurants. So close to Venice and Osprey and Sarasota. Outdoor shower was amazing. 2 weeks went by so quickly. Enjoyed every minute we were there. Prop manager very accommodating. Definitely a home away from home as it had everything. Might wanna get a new king mattress though.

The property was clean, well taking care of and had supplies for everything needed. The location could not be better situated in walking distance to 'POP's" TIKI restaurant and others. The street was quiet. Beach being 2 minutes away or a 15 minute walk. We stayed for a month with our dog and had one of the best vacations. We loved the layout and the way the house was decorated. One of the best things - An OUTSIDE shower house and spacious Lanai. Thank You

Older property but spacious and comfortable! The kitchen cabinets were disorganized, but most everything you need is there- just have to look for it. Outdoor shower is a bonus when coming back from the beach. Quick access to boat ramps and crows nest marina. Screened in back porch was great for lounging without the mosquitoes. Master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. The other beds were great. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

What a wonderful spot! We had a great week enjoying Nokomis. GREAT location to walk to beach, Pop's, quiet neighborhood to enjoy evening on screened porch, or short walk to great ice shop. Looking forward to next trip already!

We really enjoyed the conveniences of staying at this property, being so close to the ocean and beach. We loved having ample, private outdoor space with shaded and sunny options. The carport and extra parking space was excellent. It was also nice to have a variety of sitting areas within the home. Everything was well cared for. The king size bed in the master is ready to be replaced. It was nice being able to relax in the bedrooms with their own televisions. Both bathrooms were very nice and clean. The kitchen was large and equipped with nice appliances. Some of the kitchenware needs to be organized, cleaned thoroughly, replaced or upgraded, but it all worked out just fine in the end. Perhaps we are just used to higher end kitchenware. The laundry room was fantastic to have and both machines worked great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and are booked for next year. It is one of our favorite spots!

Nice home, walking distance to Nokomis beach right over the Intercostal bridge. Large yard and screen room. Three TVs with all the channels you need and good WiFi. Nice shower in the large master bedroom. Plenty of room in this place. However king bed was VERY soft. Woke up the first two nights with a backache, then tried sleeping across the bed, one of us at the headboard, the other at the footboard. Gave up on that, and then split up and I moved to the 3rd bedroom which was fine. Otherwise everthing is O K

My husband and I head south annually for the month of February and enjoyed our extended stay in Florida at this house with our 2 Bichons . We were pleasantly surprise with beautiful slider doors that open right up to additional screened areas were you can actually smell the gulf air...yep that close. Kitchen is very well equipped - even has a Belgium waffle maker! This house is tastefully decorated with cute cheeky signs and words of wisdom throughout the property that make you smile & giggle. Very private backyard with outdoor shower was a plus . Lots of tropical gardens around property ....I loved the 3 gigantic hanging plants at side of house - Can you tell me Sue what these plants are ? Restaurants.... I highly recommend Captain Eddies. I can not thinking of the Grouper Cheek Tacos ...yummers! Pelican Ally has a great seafood chowder. However, if you want Key lime pie best we found was Publixs. Nokomis Groves is about 5 min drive I went there every week for a jug of Orange juice , meyer lemons for our ice tea and container of Homemade Orange Pineapple Ice Cream.... so refreshing ! FYI go early Orange Juice sells out . Some evenings after dinner we would walk the dogs over the bridge to beachy area at park across from Pops, take a cooler of beers to sit and listen to live music looking across at Pops. Venice Dog Beach was excellent and about 20 min drive the house has 2 "Venice Snow Shovels" and we would take them with us to find sharks teeth...very fun. Thank you for having flashlights at house as the area is Dark at night....Safe but Dark. We used a flightlight for our nightly walks so I left a pack of Duracell batteries for you . We would recommend this lovely home and would stay here again .

The house was everything advertised. Lovely setting with wonderful outside and screened in spaces. We have an older dog that did not need a lot of space but neighborhood was wonderful for walking her. Could walk to beach. The beach yoga and drum circle on the beach were nice. Would definitely stay again. Beach was spacious and not crowded. Pop's Sunset grill is an easy 1 block walk. Manager responded quickly and was wonderful to work with. Loved the space. There is a Tom cat that the owners leave food to feed. We put food and water out everyday and she (the "tom" cat ) would show up 1 to 2 times a day. She was very fun to watch. One thing is the front storm door - do not lock it has you might not get it unlock. We had to take it apart. Probably don't need to lock it if you are home and leave front door open as it is a safe area. We are from a city and do not leave doors unlocked even if home. It was our habits nothing wrong with the neighborhood - quiet and peaceful.
