Friendly staff. Very comfortable.

The location (quite close to AZ), the green area around the hotel (particularly the trees and pond), facilities and comfortable beds.
Reception (evening shift) never picking up the phone when calling (actually it looked like tgey hang up a couple of times), so when to reception to ask about wifi password and after that asked her what was the reception number as I was calling without success, she did not know.

The hotel was spotless. Our room was lovely. Air conditioning that actually worked. Not a spot of mould or mildew around the shower. Comfortable beds. My 12 year old and I stayed for one night to take advantage of the pool. The changing facilities, again, were spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was more than adequate (lovey hash browns) with a really good supply and variety of fresh fruits along with your usual buffet-breakfast fayre.
My only criticism, and it's very small, is that the small pool gets very busy. Also, I was surprised to see swimming lessons in full flow the first time we visited. I think being given that information at check in would have meant we considered what time we'd have gone to the pool.

Good facilities, very clean and nice staff. The bar food was very good and the spa area was excellent.
Bar areas were a bit devoid of atmosphere, but perhaps that’s just the time we were there. Breakfast was just ok, nothing special.

Size of room, facilities on site, good location
After a long first day of travelling and exploring then going to get in bed for the first time and the bedsheet was all dirty

Some one left a plaster by the jacuzzi that was there for 2 days.

The staff were absolutely marvellous and the general ambiance was really first class -we couldnt have been happier with our room.
Only one slight thing......the sprung floors in the corridor made it noisy when everything quiet.

The Tytherington is a very nice hotel. From the first minute we walked in the feel was a a comfortable, clean well run hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was well appointed and clean. We at lunch in the lounge where there was a good choice of food, and a lovely conservatory overlooking the golf course. If you want a base in the Macclesfield area I would definitely recommend the Tytherington.

Really nice modern hotel with excellent parking, good size and well appointed rooms and nice decor.
When I went to the pool , half of it was closed for swimming lessons leaving only the very shallow baby section (less than a metre deep) and one lane for very fast swimmers available (and was full). I wasn't able to use the pool accordingly which was disappointing as I'd booked it for this reason. Pool is an awkward shape.

Great location
Super comfortable
Great facilities
Have booked return trip
Shampoo and shower gel empty in shower.
The receptionist asked if I called down! Unfortunately couldn’t find the shower phone to make the call, will look out for it next time as we have booked to return trip as it was great !

We stayed for a last-minute night away. It was just what we needed.
Staff were welcoming and efficient on check-in, check out, and breakfast (didn't need them any other time).
Many other similar hotels seem to charge for access to the spa, it was nice that this was included. It was also open later than we expected so we were able to have a dip and use the stream room.
The room was spacious and had lovely modern decor. Had a great night's sleep on the comfy bed. The room was clean and well equipped. Some nice little touches.
I had read some negative reviews about the breakfast. I think it must have been updated since as it was great. Vegan sausages are available on request, and these were excellent.
The hydro pool was closed for repair.

Me and my girlfriend have stayed at this hotel 3 times and we absolutely love it. Can’t fault the staff there very helpful and the facilities are the best you can get! Spa facilities are amazing we really do love this hotel, recommend it to anybody who wants a relaxing quiet night away.
Nothing to complain about. Everything perfect!

Great vibe, if you are after a cosy, romantic but casual get away id recommend this lovely place.
You can use all spa facilities and the pool and they have a restaurant in house, didn’t use as it didn’t have an atmosphere, however we went to the town centre and ate there, was in a good location! The rooms were beautiful and well equipped, I would recommend this hotel!
The restaurant lacked atmosphere.

Great again , second time staying here and will be coming back . Love the facilities and the food is excellent !

The room was great, big, aesthetically pleasing. Nice big walk in shower. The on-site bar and restaurant was ok. And the pool and steam rooms were good. One of the receptionists gave us a late check out for free to compensate us for some of the other staffs rude behaviour.
The hydro pool we were looking forward to the most was closed indefinitely. This wasn’t mentioned at any stage until we tried to get in it. A few of the staff members were rude to both myself and my partner on multiple occasions.

Accommodating for me and my young son
Would have been nice to have breakfast included in the price. An extra £30 for me and my son made the stay a little expensive

Beautiful scenery, clean facilities and overall comfortable stay
Reception staff were less welcoming than other hotels. They were mainly white British so not showing much diversity and we certainly did not feel warm hospitality as compared to other hotels

Perfect for the New Year’s Eve Gala Ball
The fact that we were not given the double room that we booked- the two single beds had to be joined together

Nothing I experienced I didn’t like. All very good 👍🏽

The location, and spa facilities were really lovely! we really liked that the accommodated child free areas too.
The breakfast was disappointing, there was no veggie or non pork options and no fresh eggs or options for different styles of eggs other than scrambled. for the price it was not the best value for money.

Perfect location. Lovely, clean room and friendly staff.
We felt that breakfast could/should have been included in the price

Location was good, easy for the airport.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was expensive. Based on that and poor reviews, we ate out.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Spa treatment was excellent. Pool was great though unfortunately for me there were multiple swim lessons for children going on, so very, very noisy!
Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were available in room, and toiletries in bathroom, which was good. Hotel itself was very quiet though this was mid week.
The available restaurant/bar options were very poor and overpriced .
Most options were unhealthy, ironic seeing as the hotel is all about fitness and exercise - golf, swimming , gym.
After which one is faced with cancer and heart attack inducing food options! As I had been working all day I did not go out for a meal, but wished I had done so.
I had the 'green leaf salad', ( iceberg lettuce shredded with a few slices of cucumber and tomato), along with the fish cake, (unfortunately over done, presumably overheated in microwave).
I wouldn't eat there again.
I noticed there was a blue menu in use up to around 6pm but at 8pm I was not allowed to order from that, which was a shame as there were healthier options on that menu.
Whilst hotel was quiet, the noise from the air-conditioning disturbed my sleep. Even with the air con off, there was still a background noise, presumably from surrounding rooms. Therefore light sleepers beware!

The breakfast on the second day was a total disaster,I was told I was going to be receiving a refund but that still hasn’t happened.
