Great stopover for the New Forest.

Warm welcome, high standards and fabulous breakfast. Easy access from main link roads. Several local pubs nearby.

friendly guest house close to forest walks.

Friendly welcome at the guesthouse by Helen and also great service at breakfast which was very tasty and plenty of toast. Room was clean and had all the facilities - it was compact twin but ok for one night. The village is lose to busy roads but the room was quiet for sleep. Two attractive pubs for food & drink. Near to lovely paths into the Forest.

Ideally ask for one of the larger rooms at the front if available. I did not notice that Check in is 4 - 6 pm but got there just in time!

Location for me was brilliant, Helen so helpful and supportive, lovely lounge area, locally sourced produce for breakfast which was delicious. All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommend

Absolutely what we needed and much more. Will definitely be back.

We love the homely feel, cosines, location, everything about it is amazing. Helen is so welcoming and friendly which is always nice and the super breakfast is a massive bonus.

Great location for the New Forest. Lovely room with a very (!) soft bed. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. We'd certainly go again.

The shower was a bit wimpy but that's being picky. It did the job.

Peaceful and friendly on the edge of New Forest but close to Southamton.

Convenient to Ferries,Forest and Southampton,a warm welcome from friendly hosts with a quiet,peaceful sleep and lovely breakfast. An old Inn just across the road very handy for a nightcap.It felt like staying with friends and we will be back.

The weather!Otherwise just what we needed for a short stay.

A good place to stay offering good value for money.

It was in a secluded location with parking available, only a short drive to the New Forest. There is a pub opposite, other Pubs, restaurants were within a reasonable driving distance. The proprietor was warm and friendly, even better being a family run business. A good quality freshly cooked breakfast was on offer. My stay represented very good value for money. Good WiFi also provided.

Only a couple of things. The TV Screen was really just to small, it needed to be be a minimum of 32" for the size of room, it would have been nice if a couple of bottles of water were provided.

The property was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The owner, Helen is very friendly and obliging. She is well organised and produced an excellent breakfast.

Helen was super organised and welcoming. The property is spotless and the room had everything you would need for a night or two away. Twin Oaks is a great example of how running a B&B should be done.

Quiet and clean room, great breakfast and friendly host

Location was perfect as a stop off as we travelled between two locations. Room was very clean and surprisingly quiet considering proximity to the road. Breakfast was excellent. There was a great range and the hot food was all very nicely cooked. The host, Helen, was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The sink in the bathroom is too small and makes washing your face difficult without spilling a lot of water. One of our beds felt like it was sloped from one side to the other and therefore it wasn't very comfortable to sleep in.

If cruising from Southampton, this is a fabulous start .

Fabulous place to stay before cruising from Southampton. great pubs and forest walks . Secure car parking with transfers to and from the port . Great hosts and a lovely breakfast .

A place to sleep in the New Forest but not to spend the day

Breakfast was excellent. Location was good. I think the premises was more suited to people going on cruises from Southampton

Bathroom was really small, basin was a triangle in the corner with barely enough room to wash. The soap had been diluted!

lovely b and b.

Our host was charming and made us feel at home straight away. our room was cosy and immaculate with everything we required and the bed and pillows amazingly comfortable to us. it’s located right opposite a pub where we had superb Indian curries. breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of fresh cooked food or other as you wish. it’s ideally located for the forest , we didn’t hear any noise and parking is simple, couldn’t fault it, thank you.

Great experience and would highly recommend

A really lovely B&B - we had all 5 rooms booked - each room was really nice with en suite showers. There's a cosy lounge and dining area - perfect for dinner / board games and then a movie night which is how we spent our evening. The breakfast was excellent and service was great. Hosts were so accommodating and catered to all our requests.

We had Lovely breakfast and room was comfortable and Hosts Helen and Neil were very friendly.

There wasn't anything we didn't like we hope to go back soon. There were plenty of places to eat to.

1 night stay for a Wedding nearby.

Lovely host & was made to feel very welcome, lovely and clean throughout. Breakfast was wonderful, lovely quality food. Very comfy bed. Shower was good, nice pressure. A very peaceful quiet area. Good nights sleep. Nice fresh milk for tea in room. Nicely decorated throughout Hotel. Felt fresh & modern.

Our room "Willow" was quite small. Luckily it was just for sleeping not spending time in. The sink in the tiny bathroom was quite difficult to use as minuscule. On arrival the front of the House looks a bit dreary/ run down. First impression was worrying. Luckily as soon as you step inside the breakfast area it is bright, clean & cheerful.
