Beautiful hotel in nature

Absolutely beautiful hotel with lots of greenery. They gave us some champagne and treats as we were celebrating our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. Spa was nice and loved the outdoor pool and the indoor pool in the greenhouse was an experience! The breakfast was gorgeous and we enjoyed the Asian restaurant, which has lovely views. We also enjoyed the pool table in the bar!

Our room had a sewerage smell which we alerted the staff to, they said there had been issues but it shouldn't anymore and they would get maintenance to take a look, next day it didn't seem to smell not sure if they sorted it or we got used to it! Would have liked a little more care about that e.g. offer to change room if possible. More signage around the hotel would be good it took us ages to find the indoor pool because it didn't look open!

Bellissimo hotel in Ponta Delgada

La struttura è accogliente, ben tenuta ed accogliente. Mancano solo pochi dettagli (alcuni veramente trascurabili, forse dovuti alla non alta stagione) che la renderebbero fantastica. La gentilezza dello staff e la cura di altri dettagli ci hanno sorpreso positivamente. Un ringraziamento speciale per la pazienza e la disponibilità dimostrata nei nostri confronti. Molto consigliato!

Lovely hotel, but expected a bit more for the price

Beautiful setting, food at the restaurant was fabulous and the beds were really comfortable.

Not sure the spa was even open while we were there as we tried to book in for treatments and were told there was no availability either day. Any time we went down to the spa area there were no staff around. Some of the staff were really lovely but others were very rude.

Could not think of anywhere better to stay in the Azores!

Everything was perfect. The ladies at reception were all amazing nothing was too much to ask to them such kind and beautiful souls! I would come back just to visit all the lovely people at the hotel who made my stay here also the hotel was beautiful I was given a room with balcony and was so big esp the bathroom I could not fault it! Getting into town was about 8-10 euros and transport around here is not so good so it is better to have a car but even though I did not have I would still stay here as the hotel was beautiful to relax in bar or in the spa or the room. Also breakfast was delicious!

That couldn’t stay longer.

Unica ✨❤️

Nell’ottobre 2023 ero alla ricerca di una struttura per poter vivere un giorno bellissimo, ovvero quello del nostro matrimonio. Il Senhora mi ha catturato immediatamente, un hotel innovativo al passo con i tempi e propenso a fare la differenza sul punto ambientale. E non solo! La struttura è fantastica, munita di ogni confort per ogni occasione. Tale panoramica ha fatto sicché diventasse il posto giusto per “il nostro SI”. Così il 30.12.2023 ci siamo sposati in un oasi di pace e serenità. Lo staff della reception, la manager eventi Monica è stata semplicemente UNICA. ci ha accompagnato e supportato in un giorno così speciale ed in particolare ogni giorno della nostra permanenza è stato unico e semplicemente perfetto. Ci resterà nel profondo dei nostri cuori il Senhora ✨❤️ siamo grati e felici di aver trascorso la settimana migliore delle nostre vite! Ci vediamo presto Un abbraccio Lora & Emanuele

An unexpected tropical escape

Our suite (superior suite) was otherworldly. The minute we walked through the door we were transported. The room smelled wonderful, the breeze through the enormous tropical foliage was instantly calming, and we were welcomed with a special treat from the staff to celebrate our anniversary. The bed was incredibly soft and though there didn't appear to be formal air conditioning (that I could find), we were more than comfortable between the high ceilings with the beautiful ceiling fan. And that outdoor tub... On my gosh, so serene and dreamy. We were also so lucky that we were there for a rooftop party. The sunset was gorgeous, and the DJ was very talented! The staff really takes hospitality seriously. There were so many small gestures that made the whole experience very special and felt very intentional (e.g., the staff member who showed us to our room opened the door for us, but never came inside the space, which felt by design). Everything we needed was easily accommodated, and I even watched a bar staff member patiently help someone who'd come into the hotel by mistake. Impeccable service is clearly something that is highly valued in the management of Senhora da Rosa.

Our suite appeared to be fairly near one of the main walking paths and though you couldn't really see in nor out, we could quite easily hear people talking, which at times slightly broke the illusion of such intense privacy. It's also possible that it was just cooler than expected, but the plunge pool in the pineapple room didn't appear to be heated at all, though it was described as being a hot water tank. Perhaps it was user error, it just wasn't quite what we expected, beautiful though it was!

A place of peace to disconnect from the hustle and bustle

We loved this hotel. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help, everyone is very sincere. If you are looking for a place of peace to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, then this hotel is perfect. Wonderful garden, pool in a pineapple greenhouse. There was also a pretty good Japanese restaurant on the roof of the hotel. Loved the design of the hotel with lots of small details.

It was an amazing vacation and I would absolutely go back!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Everyone had great suggestions for restaurants, side excursions.

The room smelled musty and stagnant air , even with the AC on.

Nice and comfortable hotel Room was quite large and mostly quiet (not really soundproof though so you can literally hear your neighbours speaking) Most staff members were friendly and nice

Authentic echo paradise

Authentic and friendly, in an amazing nature, echo friendly. Truly enjoyable stay. Very helpful team supporting our preparation for the trip with offers for transfers and help on car rental.

I would definitely come back!

Absolutely everything! I was travelling with my 4 year old baby girl and the staff was incredibly nice, the breakfast was just perfect with so much choice and the pool is just amazing

Relaxing retreat close to all the activities

From the moment we arrived, the staff were so kind and helpful. The property is very relaxing and the rooms are comfortable. We had a delicious dinner at their restaurant, Magma, and enjoyed cocktails on the rooftop bar. There is ample parking which was very convenient.

A pleasant hotel with fabulous restaurant.

The decor of the hotel is very nice but some areas require a bit of upkeep. The breakfasts are good and there is a fresh egg station which is always a bonus. The Magma Restaurant was sensational. My husband had the best steak of his life. It is very good value.

The coffee at breakfast however was served in thermos pumped flasks which did not work at all well. Fresh coffee to order would have been so much better. The ground floor bar lacked atmosphere and the air conditioning was too low.

It was a wonderful experience

The room was nice, with lots of natural light and really nice decor, the bed was very comfortable, the hotel itself was beautiful, the breakfast that was served was really good and the staff fantastic, friendly and accommodating.

There were limited choices of food for breakfast and it would have been good to have some slippers in the room.

Beautiful hotel and relaxing stay

Beautiful and relaxing stay in the Azores. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was perfect and super clean, and included cot bed for our toddler. Onsite facilities were good including kid room. Restaurant food was good quality and well presented, both for dinner and breakfast. Bar was really nice and service excellent. Heated pool in the banana house was great! My partner used the spa and was very impressed with the massage she received. Also able to take the bus into Ponta Delgada, bus stop only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Quick journey and very cheap cost.

Restaurant service for evening dinner was very slow one evening, there was another event on which seemed to cause some confusion. A little more communication about delays would have been appreciated (as we had a toddler to put to sleep). Food was excellent when it arrived though, so not a big issue.
