Jacuzzi facts and best practices:
The water is tested for its PH and cleaned between each guest by professionals, which could be done twice a week during the busy season.
No guests are allowed to add any chemicals of any sort to the jacuzzi or it will change the right balance of the water and may turn it into a darker color or green.
The water in the Mount snow village comes from 2 wells tested regularly by the Vermont water authority and has a high level of metal which is totally safe but sometimes can result in cloudy water in the Jacuzzi.
CLOUDY WATER DOESN'T MEAN DIRTY WATER!
Each guest is expected to shower prior to using the tub. Body sweat, deodorant, or alcohol drops in the Jacuzzi will have consequences on the quality of the water.
Professionals always recommend a maximum of 20 min experience in the water when the temperature is above 100 degrees.
Do not leave the spray jets on after leaving the tub.
Consuming alcohol while in the Jacuzzi is highly not recommended.
No glass bottles, nor glassware nearby the edge of the tub are allowed. If we found broken glasses in the tub or nearby the tub, that would be considered a severe breach of contract compromising the return of the deposit.
The jacuzzi has no steps to go down so please be careful.
We recommend that no kids under 7 should be in the water without any adult supervision.
Certainly, no kids of any age who do not know how to swim should be left alone with no adult supervision.
The Jacuzzi is not a swimming pool, so staying longer than 20 mins in + 100 degrees warm water is not recommended by health professionals.
The Jacuzzi is not a bathtub to wash your hair or body, any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash will compromise severely the water quality.
Stepping on the soft cover is not allowed. If the soft cover is broken the cost to replace it is $600. if you have to shovel the snow on the softcover always use gently the plastic shovel and not the iron one.
The house is priced for 4 people occupancy. Any additional guest above 4 is charged $50 per person per night.

The property was as described and had all the amenities needed for a short stay. Super cute decor and the location to Mount Snow and the local shops was excellent. It was perfect for my family and we still stay here again. Thank you Herve!

Thank you Herve. Your place was great and what you expect for a ski chalet near a ski resort. Clean close and the hot tub was excellent after a day of skiing.
8.0 / 10.0
Good location and property generally as listed. Snow not too good but not much can be done about that. A pamphlet with instructions on use of WiFi, TV, hottub, checkout, etc., would have been useful. Very little to no place to unpack and/or hang clothes.

Great updated A Frame near Mount Snow. Great communication with owner. Near everything. Would stay again.

This is our second time staying at Herve's home. We love it and will stay again. There is enough space for all of us to have our own beds and the 2 full baths are a plus! The 2 decks allow ample space for private time for a breakfast coffee or afternoon phone call if needed. We love the hot tub which had been clean and hot both times we have stayed. The neighbors are not super close, but there is a grocery within walking distance. What a great place.
Highly recommended. Thanks Herve!

This traditional A frame was so cozy and welcoming. After skiing we came back to a fabulous fire and a wonderful hottub. The home was extremely clean and had most everything that we needed. We would stay there again!

Overall the location was great and the house was cute and exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was an awesome feature and tons of firewood.
There are only two things that could have made it more enjoyable.
(1) The house is on a steep hill and the first night the van we’d rented was unable to get up the hill. It would have been useful to know that if it snows, you’ll need a 4x4.
(2) The couch only seats 3 and then the remaining chairs in the family room are hard back dining type chairs. So, with a family of 6 it was impossible to sit comfortably. Sleeping was great because there are plenty of beds, but hanging out when snowed in was not very comfortable.

The pictures of the house don't do this place justice! It seems to have been recently updated and everything downstairs was fantastic. The bathroom upstairs was a bit dated, but clean. The hottub outside was a great touch and was up to temp when we arrived and worked flawlessly! The internet service was new and plenty fast and the shed was full of wood to keep the stove burning throughout our stay.
Just over mile from the parking at the base of the mountain, this place was super convenient for skiing at mount snow. The bar at the entrance to the neighborhood was a nice little spot to stop for a drink and is walking distance.
The host was responsive and very helpful. I would certainly stay at this home again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was very clean when we arrived and the host was exceptionally responsive before and during our stay when we had questions. The location is ideal for skiing at Mt Snow. The cosy fireplace and hot tub were so enjoyable after long, cold days of skiing. It was well equipped with all we needed and we would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice A-frame located very close to Mount Snow. Relatively easy place to find with ample parking if you have more than one vehicle. The place is decorated very nicely with a modern kitchen and appliances and rainfall shower in the first floor bathroom. The place was very clean throughout and also has a full washer and dryer if you need it. Wi-Fi worked great and I was able to stream to the tv without issue from my phone. Didn’t get a chance to use the fireplace because it was warm but i can imagine sitting next to a crackling fire without much trouble. The deck and hot tub in the back were perfect. Hot tub was easy to use and hot. Perfect for days hiking or skiing. Communicating with the host was super simple and accessing the keys was too. This place really is the “cute Vermont chalet”. 10/10 plan on staying again!

What a beautiful location and perfect home to spend a weekend with good friends! We each had our own space to sleep comfortably, nicely renovated kitchen and bath, great living and dining areas. The wood stove was a nice to have a small fire on a cool autumn weekend and the hot tub was clean and hot ; perfect to enjoy the leaves changing and Vermont outdoors. 2 patios/ decks with plenty of seating for a little time away from the crowd if needed. Great restaurants and shops nearby.
We loved it and will def be back every year!

Great time at the A frame
The place was very nice. The property manager and caretaker were extremely responsive and informative with any questions we had.
The A frame is a classic ski house that's just right for apres-skj - super close to Mt. Snow. The hot tub is absolutely fantastic - big, modern and does a great job overall.
Would definitely stay there again. Thanks.

Bait and switch, spiders, mice and danger
Looked to book a house for 7 people. This property came up in my search. In description says sleeps 7 up to 8 people. I Booked the property. When later reviewing my charges I realized I was charged a large fee per person over four people. So the house sleeps 4 not 7, false advertising!!! When we arrived at the house we were greeted by a foul smell . Things got worse from there. Paper thin walls and ceilings that allowed the slightest noises to be heard throughout the house. Spider webs hanging from ceilings . Listening to mice scurrying inside the walls when trying to sleep. Second floor shower would not drain giving user a disgusting ankle deep immersed experience. Unsafe exposed romex electric wiring near the hot tub. A treacherous open staircase going to the second floor with an unsafe hand rail. I would strongly urge anyone looking to rent this property to look elsewhere.. besides the false advertising and bait and switch profiteering from Herve you might actually be severely injured at this rental. Stay away

Perfect Getaway
This home was immaculate, well stocked, and everything functioned perfectly. The property manager was available whenever needed, and extremely kind. Someone staying with me walked to the house from Mount Snow, it’s literally that close! But still, tucked into a very close little neighborhood. Perfect stay!

Amazing A Frame
great communication, answered all questions and went out of their way to be helpful. Property was clean and beautiful and like a minute from mt snow, 25 mins from stratton. would stay here again in a heartbeat, it's private, it's main living area is super cozy with woodburning stove, and close to everything. Hot tub was cleaned and heated up prior to our arrival which was a nice touch. Thanks for a wonderful vacation

Perfect property for enjoying Mt Snow
The house had everything we needed for quality family time and has a modern and cozy feel. The view in the back is amazing, and the fire place and hot tub make this property extra special. The kitchen has many amenities needed to cook but the location is very close to the market if you need supplies and there are many great restaurants nearby, as well as the short drive to the mountain. The owner lives nearby and was super accommodating. We had a great stay and hope to come back again soon.

Great!
We had a great stay! My only complaint that we didn’t stay for longer :)
The chalet is cozy and so relaxing. The beds are super comfortable. Everything is provided (towels, sheets, pillows, blankets).
The house manager was very attentive and was available through text! I felt comfortable reaching out to her for whatever, even though everything we needed was there. Would love to stay again!

Great cozy place!
Loved this house for our reunion! Cozy and plenty of space! The jacuzzi was a little disappointing because of the water quality however property manager Jennifer was absolutely accommodating and responsive for everything. Would recommend to future group for a get away

Proximity to Mount Snow is amazing. You can even see the snow groomers on the mountain at night from the Jacuzzi.
The place is nice & cute but needs some more updating. I would stay again.

Great getaway with quick access to Mt. Snow
We absolutely loved our stay! The house is even better than it looks in the picture. The proximity to Mt. Snow was perfect for us. We loved coming back to relax in the hot tub and we also enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Had everything we wanted!!

Great location cute house
Stayed here for a week in February with my husband and two teen boys. The house is nice, but it had cobwebs not only in the high ceilings but also near beds. The tv is an internet service and half the time it wasn’t working. The couch is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. My son got a rash from the hot tub . No one came till I called to shovel front pourch to access the shed to put the trash in. The price was very high the house wasn’t as nice to match the price but the location to the MT was fantastic.

Perfect stay
We love the chalet! The hot tub was awesome and coming inside to a warm fire, the house was clean and exactly as pictured. It was an easy drive to Stratton for a day trip, plenty of restaurants and breweries nearby. Short walk to a coffee shop in the mornings. We loved it!

Great, cozy house
The house was great for my family (2 adults, 2 kids). Kitchen had all the essentials, the place was clean and comfortable. We had a great time there, and the property manager, Jennifer, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, quickly responding to questions via text. If I had any issue is was that the inside lighting could have been a little better (but that is really just nitpicking). Great time, and I recommend!
