Our charming 3BR waterfront Lake Norman home (nicknamed “Deer Beach” due to the abundant neighborhood deer population) is located near Lake Norman main channel mile marker 19 in Sherrills Ford (Catawba County).
This quaint property can sleep 10 (or 12 with rollaways, if available) and includes:

We had ourselves and our son with his girlfriend and our other son and local friends stopped by. Plenty of room and parking.
We were able to use the boat lift after dropping in at Long Island Marina not too far away. That was great!
It was super hot in high nineties so the A/C struggled a bit but there were 2 box fans that were quiet and helped cool the room.
We loved the double and single kayak. There was a canoe that we never used but would have if all wanted to go at the same time.
Grill worked great. Too hot for fire pit but still enjoyed the new Adirondack chairs. We were always able to find sun or shade.
We jumped off the dock to swim and because there was no ladder to get back up, we used our boat ladder. We could have just used the small beach so that is a great option for swimming.
We truly had a great week and this place accommodated us for sure!

4 generations celebrated birthdays and ejoyed kayaking, chatting, and enjoying the beauty of the lake. Beautiful location, comfortable house. Plenty of room. Will ne back.

Very clean spacious and the canoe was a blast… only down fall one smart tv the rest were antennas made it hard for the kids to find programs they liked other than that it was 10/10

Girls trip 2024 was a great time. The lake house was beautiful. We loved the light house decor! It reminded us of our late mother/aunt/sister, she loved lighthouses and it made us feel as she was with us. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a blast…great family time in the winter. The property has everything you need plus a fabulous view. We enjoyed the fire pit so much. Wonderful memories made here! Will definitely be back.

We were only here for three nights but we had a wonderful time! Very comfortable and clean house with a beautiful view! Host was super helpful and responsive! Don’t hesitate to stay here and enjoy!

I only stayed one night, but this place was amazing! The view is incredible and very relaxing! The fire pit was a wonderful added touch. I highly recommend this place. It was very clean and accommodating.

The house was perfect for the three adults that stayed here. There was plenty of room for up to 4 boat trailers and trucks. Outside hook up for electricity for charging boat batteries.

The view was great the area was close to town. My only suggesting would be that the beds are really hard they could use new mattresses or padding.

We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Norman. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. We relaxed on rafts floating in the sun. Used the kayaks too. Special thoughtful gifts left for us in the fridge and on the counter were a nice surprise. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. We did not have a boat but it was nice to sit on the dock watching the boats go by. Thank you.

This is our second stay at this fantastic rental!! Our family had a great time as usual!! Kids ages 3,4,5,13,16. Something to do for all ages!! Everything you could possibly need is there! Thanks for the memories, once again!!! Until next year!!!

My sister is in Ohio and we are in FL. So this spot was almost in the middle. We are sorry we forgot to run the dishwasher before we left. All dishes packed and soap was in it. Just forgot to ouch the button. Thank you house was great. You also left us our favorite wine. Thank you

This house has it all. Space, view, lake, dock and amenities.
From the canoe and kayaks, to the firepit, the deck, the nice chairs, etc. ... this place was perfect for us!

Enjoable stay
Accommodations were clean, very well stocked with plenty of room for the 4 adults we had. Kitchen appliance were fairly new and very clean upon our arrival. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked as well. Can't beat the price. Property location was on the upper end of the lake sitting on a very nice finger of the lake. Great distance form stores, restaurants and amenities.

Quiet retreat to Nature on Gorgeous Lake Norman

Well maintained house with amazing view of the lake. Not the newest house but it had everything you need. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, cookware, etc. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable beds. Bathrooms a little bit outdated but clean and well maintained. Living rooms and dining room spacious.

Spacious rental with everything you need for that perfect get away. Property has all the amenities for relaxation, fishing, swimming and boating right out the door, directly located on Lake Norman. I will definitely book this property again. Thank you for an awesome experience.

The house is located on a calm stretch of Lake Norman, where you can enjoy the view of passing boats but don’t have to deal with a busy channel filled with partying visitors. People were friendly, we weren’t very far from the grocery store. 20 minutes further and you had stores like Target, Ulta, Michael’s, and Carters.
The house was quite comfortable for 8 people (5 adults, 3 children). We had enough towels and bed linens for everyone. The cleaning supplies were also well stocked with dish washing soap, bathroom cleaner, sponges and paper towels. We thought we would need to purchase Household necessities like toilet paper, foil, napkins, etc. but they were already there.
David was very responsive, prompt and courteous. All of my requests were filled in a timely manner. He made sure that we had a wonderful visit.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this vacation rental to anyone interested in staying on Lake Norman. We will absolutely return.

Great, relaxing spot on Lake Norman! Tranquil.
Needed a place to stay while in town to survey a stream that needed help after a few big storms obliterated it. Did not want to stay in a hotel due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was very fortunate to find this wonderful spot at the lake to settle in after a few long days of work. Would love to come back for pleasure and not as much business! Thanks David! Cheers
