About this house rental

This is a MUST stay for your time here in New Orleans. A spacious two-bedroom located in a quiet neighborhood in New Orleans with a five minute drive to the New Orleans Fairgrounds Race Course and ONLY ten minutes from downtown (French Quarters) and our famous Bourbon Street. You can experience downtown and live music which Jazz is one of my favorites here in the city and then come back to a cozy, relaxing home. This will be one of the best decisions you will make while staying here in NOLA.

The entire two bedroom is yours to enjoy. There is a queen bed in each bedroom. You immediately enter the living room which is equipped with lovely decor, and an HDTV Fire TV.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances including a blender, a Keurig Coffee Maker, and many other extra amenities to cook your own meals during your stay.

Also, in the unit; A stainless steel refrigerator along with a stainless steel stove and central air conditioning.

A heater is also provided to keep guest cozy and warm in the unit. (SEASONAL: WINTER)

The bathroom features a beautiful porcelain tiled shower/Whirlpool jacuzzi tub.

Worst host and experience

False advertisement, it is not close to any of the attractions in NOLA. Upon arrival, the house was not in a desirable neighborhood to feel safe staying or parking a car there, a lot of damage was still present from the recent hurricane; which, prior to arrival the host promised everything worked and no issues or damage were present, internet was still out in the area. We were denied access to the property, as they would not give us information to get in prior to or upon arrival so we were forced to find another place to stay. Host was not willing to refund costs even after never giving us access to the property. Even After filling out this review the host will probably leave a response calling us liars and other names as she has done with previous reviews. we wanted to cancel this stay due to the status of property as we arrived and requested a refund. Hopefully this review helps and saves someone else. We wish we would have seen the review made on September 30. Overall, we felt extremely unsafe in the area and the communication was horrible and disrespectful.

We renting this property to stay in while working in LA to assist in the recovery after Hurricane Ida. There were few options available for housing. This home had no basic staples of anything. We had to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc. No internet as advertised. I emailed the owner and she said Cox would be out thete to fix, never happened. The router box was sitting there with a dangling cable - we were never provided with the router name and wifi password. AC did not work properly - owner said she could not find anyone to come by and check it out. Ceiling fans do not work - just an overall poorly kept house that we unfortunately rented. The owner would response quickly, just no action ever taken.

The host was amazing. Always responded quickly to my questions. The house was perfect! Great location and close to everything we needed. Would definitely rent again and highly recommend for others.
