The location was incredible! The WiFi was great, lots of parking, beautiful back yard. Quiet for sleeping despite being on a main road.

The photos did not reflect the condition of the property. For example, the large sectional material is deteriorating all over the place; it’s not a real leather and it’s cracking and missing. The recliner on the end is broken in the reclined position. None of us wanted to sit on it. One of the dining room chairs was completely broken. The front staircase is a safety hazard when wet and the gutter is about to fall off, hopefully not on one of the guests. The main bathroom shower drain was clogged and the bath filled with dirty shower water when we used it. A bed in the basement is advertised as a queen or a full but it’s a completely short length and not functional for anyone over 5 ft. The carpeting was filthy yet signs at the entrance asked us to remove our shoes, which is very rude to ask people to walk barefoot or in socks across filthy flooring. No recycling was offered. I was embarrassed that I booked this for my friends, we were there for a wedding and we all decided we should have spent our money on a hotel.

The furniture looks like every person that stayed prior let their dog eat it. Couch was sooooo wore out as was the chairs to the dining room table. Had to clear my own path to the front door by removing the ice and snow that was dangerous. For all the extra charges for services I saw no compensation in those charges

The house was very nice. Very clean and stocked with all the cooking utensils, glasses, plates, etc. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. The kayacks and the canoe provided were very nice.

Since it was August, there were a few days when it was very warm and sticky in the house even with the windows open. Since there was no a/c, we used the fans that were provided and managed to get a little relief that way. Air conditioning would be a great addition. The row boat provided came with only one oar. I texted the number given to see if another one was available but the answer was a question asking if I had found the other oar, not where to find it.
