About this house rental
A house with stunning views of the Herradura Bay (Granada), in a very quiet urbanization surrounded by the natural park of Cerro Gordo. Close to everything but absent from noise or inconvenience. The two community pools have uninterrupted views of the bay and are next to two paddle tennis courts. Sheets and towels are provided and the house is fully equipped.
This house is ideal for families, located on a dead end street that allows children to play in it. It is also very suitable for groups that intend to do sports nearby.
The Costa Tropical of Granada is a unique place in Europe. All kinds of subtropical products grow here. It is never too cold in winter or too hot in summer. The house, embedded in the mountain, is protected from possible winds, so the stay on the terrace is almost always a guarantee of tranquility.
La Herradura is located between Almuñécar, to whose municipality it belongs, and Nerja. Both are very touristy places, full of shops and restaurants. However, La Herradura is a closer, more familiar and exclusive place of which Marina del Este marina stands out.
Surrounded by a natural park, it enters the sea, seeking clean and lively waters frequented by the divers of La Herradura clubs. Whether you are looking for busy beaches such as beaches without tourism, nudists or textiles, with rocks or sand, dotted with beach bars or without cars, this is the place with more variety in its vicinity.
All kinds of activities can be practiced: diving, paragliding, windsurfing, historical or gastronomic tourism ...

Beautiful Views
Coming from a foreign country and not knowing anything about the area, we took a chance on booking this property and we were not disappointed. The website address made it seem difficult to find, but after being personally guided to the property, the location ended up being easy to get to and it was not far from the N-340 so you could get up and down the coast relatively easily. The property is located in a private development that includes has a community pool and paddle board courts. We were the only ones that used the facilities during our visit, so it was like having our own pool and courts. The kids loved it and the views were spectacular. We went to the Playa Marina Del Este Punta (beach) which was a 20-minute drive (just over the peninsula you can see in pool picture), the kids loved the waves and there were only a few people around. We visited the Nerja caves (you have to go early and get reservations) which were impressive although a bit pricey, and took a day trip to Granada which was an hour away. We had a number of kids with us (8) and the kitchen, dining and patio gave us plenty of room to cook and eat. There is no wireless, but we were happy to enjoy the place without kids being distracted on their electronic devices. We are not lodging snobs, so I'm sure people could find little things to complain about; regardless, for the price, we found this home was the best value of all the places we stayed (5) during our two week trip to Spain.
