Beautiful location.
Lovely host.
Very clean and comfortable.

The location of the house could not be better. The house itself is great, equipped with everything one needs for a holiday. The host is very nice and available whenever needed. Overall, a great experience.
Due to the location and irish weather the house is slightly damp. Its generally no problem and well taken care off. One little suggestion: The kitchen could be equipped a little better (sharper knifes, more pots and bowls etc.)

Beautiful countryside location. Wonderful host, our request for change to heating was quickly looked after, for example.
On the website, it stated free breakfast which is misleading.
Some items were there but for first morning only. Listing on the website should be updated to make it clearer.

Agnes is a fab host , friendly, likeable and made us feel so welcome . She has great knowledge of the area . Ceim is in a most beautiful part of Ireland .The house is spotless and even though it is a long way to the shops Agnes had left a very beautiful welcome pack for us . Even left sweets left on our beds :) The children loved the back garden . Keep up the good work Agnes .
There is nothing to not like here . We will be returning and would recommend this place to everyone .

Location was amazing; a remote spot in the Black Valley. It is a transport from the real world..so refreshing. The house was clean and well suited for a big family. My kids loved playing in the backyard, and the game room was an added bonus. Our host, Agnes, was so kind and included some welcome treats and basic food items.

The house is very comfortable for a large group, very cozy, no problems with the cold and storm outside. The place is surrounded by an amazing landscape. The roads to get there are quite narrow with a lot of sharp turns, but it’s super worthy! Take your time to get there, specially during nighttime.
The hostess, Agnes, is super friendly and kind. My husband has dropped his only coat outside the car and it was soaking wet, she took her one to lend him! I was shocked by her kindness haha she is definitely a super host! I totally recommend the place and I plan to go back :)
Nothing really that I disliked.

Ideal location for peace and quiet, exploring the McGillacuddys Reeks. A beautiful, warm, clean and well equipped house in a stunning valley. Kids loved the garden especially the "rock climbing!" Agnes the host was very welcoming and so kind to our kids. We loved it!

We prepared are own breakfast, even though there was an offer of it by host. There was welcome treats that where delicious. Location was amazing. Be prepared to get no where fast, as its a narrow windy road to reach the house, but thats what makes it even better
Everything was great, apart from the flies in the evening, meant we couldn't open the windows. But that's nature

The house itself is Very comfortable with loads of amenities. Great place to bring kids. Our host Agnes was really lovely and helpful. But the location cannot be surpassed. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful unspoiled place.

The house is set in a beautiful, tranquil location and is away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Killarney. The landscape is spectacular and there are very few houses in the area. The road through the Gap of Dunloe is stunning even though I was not brave enough to drive it and left that to my husband! There are some beautiful walks from the house itself as it is on the Kerry Way walking trail and others in the surrounding area. There is great access to the Ring of Kerry and the many beautiful beaches. The house is very comfortable and the kitchen has all of utensils that you would need to prepare a meal. Agnes is a lovely host and had freshly baked scones and a few basic provisions awaiting us on our arrival. She made herself available for us to contact directly during our stay if we needed to and sent on a number of links for things to do in the area.
For children there is great fun to be had outside in the treehouse, the swing, hammocks and slide.
We had a fantastic week away in Kerry and return home refreshed and looking forward to returning for more adventures in the future!

Location was fabulous, nestled away in the mountains with all the essentials you need. I’d definitely return
All good, you’ll need your driving skills to navigate some of the roads but was worth the scenery 😀

This house is in a such a great location, with several nearby hikes to choose from. Agnes provided us with a list of hikes to try. The house itself has been recently redecorated to a very high standard. The place is cosy and is well kitted out. Added bonuses include the games room out the back and the board games provided for your entertainment.
The host very thoughtfully left scones on arrivals and some breakfast items as the local shop is some distance away.
The wifi was very good if you wanted to work from this house and prolong the stay.

Caim House - fantastic cottage, well kept and maintained perfect for hikes , cycles ....if you want to escape it is fabulous . Agnes was there to greet us and welcome us and the house was lovely and cosy for our arrival .

Ceim house is set in the heart of the Gap of Dunloe known as the Black Valley. The scenery from the house would simply take your breath away. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Check-in was extremely easy and the house had every amenity required. I would highly recommend this location for any nature lover or those just wishing to get away from the hectic daily grind to unwind for a bit.
The location is very isolated with the local villages 45mins+ away and the roads for access and egress are full of dips and crests and turns. This was no issue for ourselves as we planned for this type of trip but I would suggest keeping this in mind when planning yours.
