Very nice and quiet hotel with happy atmosphere and friendly staff. Breakfast was awesome, different every day and the room was very clean with enough privacy.

Maybe the bathroom could have some shelf.

Cozy & Subtle. With Luxury motive.

We landed at Heraklion just after the flooding. The weather outside was not so good, and as you can imagine, the mood also. However, it became better once we approached the hotel after 20-25 min of driving and met the host. The hotel, located not so far from the sea, is built on a mountain slope, like rice terraces in the Philippines. The access and parking were very convenient. We took a few steps up from the parking to the reception and were met by the host. He helped us to order a meal and led us to the room. The room was cozy. The view the next morning and the breakfast were superb. Moreover, the breakfast was different another day. We liked our stay at Minois. In general, the subtle & cozy hotel, the attitude of the host, and his recommendations, especially to visit the south, made our trip way better despite the bad weather in the Heraklion region.

The weather could have been better, but it's not related to the hotel.

Crete Wedding Break

Location was brilliant. The room and facilities were amazing value for money. Mikhail and his team were absolutely amazing! Would definitely recommend! We had a 3 day wedding event for a friend so only managed to eat the breakfast once but it was amazing.

Best ever!

The place is beautiful, our room (33) was amazing, the bed was large and super comfy. Our balcony was fabulous! The breakfast was delicious and presented so well. The staff were all friendly and professional, especially Kostas.

Very good hotel with high value for money.

Starting with Costas in the reception with his big smile and friendly face. He gave me immediately a warm welcome feeling. The hotel is new and the structure is unique. It isn't a square block of stones that you see al around. The rooms and apartments are cleverly designed with a minimalistic approach of colors and furniture. Very clean and tidy, bright and spacious suite with a huge and well aquipt sun terrace. The property is situated on a hill side and offer a generous wide sea view. I will definitely be back 😉

Soundproofing of the water installation was very bad calculated by the architect and you can hear very loudly the water ru Ning through the pipes every time the guests of the neighboring suites use the toilet or the shower. But this is a design mistake and has nothing to do with the staff or the facilities.

Perfect hotel

Best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel worldwide. Lovely modern rooms. Spotless hotel. Nice pool. Quiet atmosphere. Fantastic hosts.

WiFi in the room was occasionally slow/unavailable, but reconnecting usually solved it. The location is uphill from the resort but only 5 minutes walk and gives the place lovely views over Stalis.

The breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of options that changed a bit from day to day, all with distinct flavours - and a great sea view from where you sit. The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful, taking their time with each guest. The room had a balcony with a superb view overlooking the sea, the pool, the mountains and the town. Very low noise levels, both between the rooms and from the outside. The pool was clean and had a pleasant temperature suitable both to cool off during the day or for an evening swim. If I return to Stalida, I could definitely imagine staying here again.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, bar snacks were great, and cocktails were fab too!

It was a shame we couldn't have dinner here too. Would've liked to have had a few evenings in, as we loved it so much!

excellent, quiet, picturesque hotel. very caring, friendly staff, varied breakfasts, drinks, good coffee and vegan milk (special thanks for this) We had a slight misunderstanding in the room categories, when booking a deluxe room, we relied on pictures from Booking.com, as a result the room received not the one I expected. But the hotel manager perfectly resolved the situation, after 2 nights we changed the room, the one that I originally wanted, in addition, he offered us a compliment from the hotel, a very sensitive attitude towards guests. The rooms were cleaned every day, in general, the hotel is in principle perfect cleanliness. We will definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to friends. thank you very much!

Breakfast was delightful (especially the cheese and ham pastry). The location was excellent and the staff were a joy to be around. The strawberry daiquiris were also amazing.

Hotel owner and employees are very warm and welcoming and do everything they can to satisfy your needs. Hotel is recently renovated and the rooms are very comfortable. We received a room upgrade for free, because it was the start of the season.

Lovely hotel, great stuff

Great, modern boutique hotel with amazing staff, sea view and delicious breakfast.

We asked for a one double bed but got two seperate small beds connected into one which was uncomfortable during sleeping (we kept falling into the hole inbetween beds). Pool was not heated, not usable during autumn.

Perfect!

Everything positif mentioned in earlier reviews is completely true: breakfast, view, cleanliness, ambiance... But what for us really made the difference to other goed hotels is the brilliant hostmanship of the whole crew: leaving the room in the morning the housekeeping waving vriendly good morning continued by a big smile and twinkeling eyes of Kostas while serving the perfect breakfast, lunch and drinks. Michalis and his team does not stop challenging themselves unless you have a great and perfect stay. Thanks for everything you did to make us feel special! We hope to see you again.

We heard a bit of noise from the street and our room was located right above the breakfast room so that we woke up quite early. Also breakfast was only until 10, we would have wished it would be a bit longer because especially on vacation we like to sleep in.

Best hotel you can find on Crete

Where to begin.. this was the best place we've stayed at during out trip to Crete and it's for sure in our top 3 hotels we've ever stayed at. Value wise you will not find a better breakfast in any other hotel, every day there is something new to try and all of it is super tasty. The rooms are spacious and clean, comfy beds, great views and a swimming pool with a great outdoor area. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff and owner; they are the friendliest people, always willing to help to make your stay an amazing experience, asking how your day was, always with a smile.

Brand new hotel with spacious rooms and very friendly staff

The hotel is brand new, only four months old. The rooms are big and modern, the swimming pool is good size and the location is close to the Stalida beach and town, but also not directly in the town so not much noise. Great breakfast with variation each day. The staff is very friendly and helpful with useful suggestions. Overall it exceeded our expectations and we had a very pleasant stay.

Nothing really big. The bathroom can use some better water shielding between the shower and toilet area, as it tends to spill over. The location is good, but it's a bit of an uphill walk on a quiet road, though you do encounter vehicles at times. I think they can improve this part by adding some extra lighting for when it is dark and perhaps making a stairs so you can take a short cut uphill. But overall, minor things.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is exceptionally friendly, remember your name and try to read your wishes from your eyes and help with everything. There's a little tourist village just 5min walk away and plenty more within a short drive. The breakfast is very nice and alternating. I would absolutelly come again:)

The only thing I would have preferred a softer bed, which is a personal preferrence,, but I still slept ok
