About this house rental

A perfect stay for 4-6 people. A one story expanded cape home that is easily accessed, cleaned professionally and well appointed throughout.. Our renovated, beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is located in the historic town of Mystic, CT. We are less than a 10-minute walk to Main Street with wonderful restaurants, pubs, marinas, and shops with our famous bascule bridge crossing. Close to local CT and RI beaches.

Our home is open, bright, and a great space to be in during your stay. There are 3 bedrooms - two queen-size beds and one king-size bed - with two beautiful tiled bathrooms. We have a decorative (non-working) stone fireplace. Our kitchen is well appointed and features marble countertops and state of the art stainless steel appliances. The beautifully landscaped yard is comfortable to relax in and spend time in the open back patio for your enjoyment. There is central air (heat and cooling), a washer and dryer, and plenty of off street parking. We supply all the amenities necessary for a memorable vacation! Pets are welcome upon approval (maximum of 2 dogs) and a $50 per pet fee.

Guests enter through a side door that has a keypad lock. Owner provides the code for the keypad prior to guest arrival with other check in information.

Owners are next door neighbors for easy access should you need anything. Note: our house is on a busier street but home is quiet.

Beautiful. Spacious. Immaculate. Well appointed. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at. Wish we had more down time to enjoy the house more, but we had an event filled weekend trip. Maybe next time. Would definitely rent again.

Magnolia House is a lovely modern home in a great location for easy access to Mystic and the surrounding communities. We enjoyed the large, well appointed kitchen and spacious gathering areas for our family group. The bedrooms are roomy with very comfortable beds. Ample towels, linens and cleaning supplies were on hand. Our host Ellen was very available and thoughtful. She even offered to pick up groceries for us for our late arrival. Very nice!

We enjoyed this home as a family, the seating arrangements were ideal for conversation, reading or entertaining or just to read a book The beds were super comfortable as were the chairs and sofa The dining room table was perfect for our board games Cleanliness was spot on I found it very quiet at night although one of our guest heard humming through a vent into the bedroom next to the laundry room Otherwise it was a 10

Property is real close to downtown Mystic. Walk on a nice day. Property owners very attentive to any of our needs. Very spacious inside. Bathrooms nice and roomy, open floor plan throughout and beautifully kept. We had three cars and room for another if needed. Highly recommend!

What an amazing stay in Mystic! My friends and I celebrated my sister in law getting married in the beautiful magnolia house. The house was so specious and perfectly fit eight people. Foxwoods was only a 20 minute drive and downtown Mystic was only an easy 10 minute walk. Host was super accommodating and even stopped over to give us a bottle of wine. Perfect stay and would highly recommend the house!

We highly enjoyed this house for our Mystic vacation. We walked to downtown mystic shops and restaurants, had a short drive to the aquarium / old mystic and other towns, and the house was perfect for families since it was all on one level and so we’ll set up. Also, the house was so nice and everything was set up for our visit. The house manager and owner checked in with us to make sure everything was right. Highly recommend!

The perfect property and location for our girls weekend away. Property had everything you could need and a table large enough for all to sit around for hours. More than enough space for a group of seven. Walking distance to downtown and short drive to a farmers market and wineries. Owner was wonderful, very quick to respond, and provide multiple recommendations for the local area, which was great since it was our first trip to there. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing location with a group of your friends.

Loved this home for our girls weekend in mystic. It was within walking distance to town. Property was very clean with lots of space for us . My only suggestion would be to have mirrors in the bedrooms as it made three ladies trying to get ready hard to share the one bathroom. :)

Since COVID, I've rented several homes to have the chance for the entire family to spend time together. This is the first one that I would absolutely return to. It was perfect in every way, from the layout of the home, to the size of the rooms, to the items on hand for our use and, especially the cleanliness of the home. It couldn't have been more perfect. The open concept of the living area allowed the adults to enjoy time together while, right in front of us all, the children played and we all could interact together. The location was just a few steps away from Mystic downtown, a beautiful area to walk around and the aquarium was less than a 10 minute drive. The host and property manger stayed in constant communication with us, ensuring our every need and want was met. You couldn't ask for more. If I ever find myself heading back to Mystic for any reason, I will stay here. Thank you for sharing your home and hospitality with us.

This was my second time staying at this property. I brought a group of 5 women for a mom’s getaway weekend. The home is beautiful, clean, and has everything you could need. The Magnolia House was the perfect place to stay when visiting from out of town as the location is so convenient to all that Mystic has to offer! We especially appreciated the close proximity to downtown where we could walk to restaurants and shops without the hassle of parking during a busy weekend. The accommodations were well-appointed, extremely clean and the space was perfect for our group of adults and kids. The owner and property manager reached out with all the information we could need for a seamless check-in process and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!!
